My 24 year old single daughter stopped in for an oil change at this location. She was quoted $173 for a full synthetic oil change. Thankfully, she thought this price was high and called me (in Oregon) to see if this price seemed OK? I told her to leave immediatley as this was about double of what she should pay. I called several other Jiffy Lubes and car dealerships in the St. George area, all quoting me anywhere from $74-$104 for a full synthetic oil change. It is really frustrating to watch a business attempt to take advantage of a young girl with her car. I hope this review deters some future business from this location. read more

My car was messy, I had a coffee spill that morning and had paper napkins on the floor and they put them all on my passenger seat and all the floor Matt's were cooked and thrown together, it would be nice if they would do a better job or not at all. They are dishonest. I saw an ad online for $26 off an oil change and so before going to Jiffy Lube I called them in advance. I asked them how much it would cost for my vehicle to receive a full oil change and they told me $85. I then asked them if they would take the coupon And they said yes. I dropped my car off and when it was done, they charge me $135 and said that was the standard oil change for my vehicle when I told them that I already called in advance and they told me to be $85. They said the best they could do with the coupon would be $100. They are dishonest, lied about the service, and had no interest in making it right. read more

I was moving out of state and needed to get an oil change before I drove the nearly 1,500 miles to my relocation destination. Late on a Saturday afternoon, I dropped into the Jiffy Lube on River Road in St. George. I asked if they were also able to rotate my tires and their answer was yes. To make a long story short, this team performed way beyond any expectation I could imagine. When they went to rotate my tires, two of the mounting bolts had previously been cross threaded and stripped as they were removing the tire lug nuts. The team had called their auto supply vendor to order the replacements. The auto supply company delivered the parts to the wrong location and delivered the wrong parts. It was already after closing time but the Jiffy Lube team stayed 2 hours after closing to insure I had the correct parts and my vehicle was safe to make the long trip ahead. The team took their own vehicles to a different auto parts store to purchase the correct parts and make sure they got me back on the road instead of leaving me stranded for the remainder of the weekend. Not only did the team stay the extra hours but they apologized for the issue and provided me with a very fair price. The location I visited was the one located at 1393 S. River Road in St. George. Went in to get my oil changed and somehow returned with a hole in my air filter hose a few months ago. Caused my car to break down in the middle of the intersection after inspection another mechanic said that this could only happen if someone messed with it. Stopped by there today with my daughter's car due to a nail in the tire. I asked the manager on duty who has worked there for awhile to check the tire for possible air leakage and plug. He said, " the charge would be $31". Couldn't believe it! I said to check tire and put a plug in, and he said, "yep, you can go somewhere else if you like." I said, "I bring three of my cars in here for oil changes and other things and you can't do a better price, and he replied, "nope." I said, "okay, I will take my cars somewhere else." They started my oil change without giving me a quote, ridiculous charge for a 4 cylinder car, I called a dealership for a quote in front of them & it was half the price! Even after I was upset about the price, they changed my 'in cabin' filter without checking with me 1st!! I asked to see the old filter & they had put it in the oil (!!??) so I could'nt see it! If I could give these people zero stars I would. My son came in to get a basic oil change. He has aspergers syndrome and wasn't sure about what to do so they charged him the max and took advantage of him. It cost him nearly $100 for an oil change and filter. In addition they told him the filter was $25 and charged him $36. He just needed the basic inexpensive OC and they gave him the "signature". In a word- unethical. Do yourself a favor and go to Walmart and get their $20 Oil change and buy your own filter. You don't need a teenage "expert" to change the oil properly. Smooth process. I've never used jiffy lube before. When I pulled up, I was immediately greeted by a nice young man. I asked him what the process was, and he explained everything clearly to me as far as what they will do. I felt very comfortable and the service was quick. Upon completion, a young lady explained exactly what the Kia factory recommended services were and when they were due. I am completely satisfied with jiffy lube and will return for my next service! Two WORST JIFFY LUBE Oil Change Stations: - 1393 S River Rd. St. George, UT 84790 This particular location made it so complicated. It took more than two hours for just an oil changed. - 1064 West Red Cliffs Drive Washington, UT 84780 This location didn't install the undercover right. Just after a few miles driving on the freeway, turned around dragging it back to this particular location for them to re install. We are very disappointed to this both Jiffy Lube locations. Yesterday, we had to turn around on the freeway to change vehicles because the undercover got undone again while driving on the freeway. It is not cheap, almost $100 for only an oil change, and they broke the oil filter container and had to get another one. The customer before me was there for a long time since they had stripped the oil pan bolt and had to drill it out. If I could give 0 Stars I would! I took my car in to have my A/C checked for leaks, and to have them refill the Coolant. It was a long wait, (which would have been fine) except for the car sat there for 45 minutes without anyone telling me it was done. I paid 160$ for the coolant and for them to "check" the A/C. Not even 48 hours later, my air was back to blowing hot.. They told me they had checked for leaks, so when I went back to figure out what the problem was, they told me it wasn't their responsibility and that I would need to pay for it to be fixed. This JL was abnormally slow. I had to wait an hour and a half for them to perform the service on my F 150. After paying I found that they had left masking tape on my truck and finger prints all over the side of newly professionally washed vehicle. Wherever they stepped on my running boards was dirty and dusty. Is it too hard to wipe down things afterwards, JL? I was so tired of waiting all I wanted to do was get outta there. River road jiffy lube is indefinitely the absolute worst mechanic/ lube shop in the state of Utah. I have been to a lot of shops and was a diesel mechanic for eight years and I have never had such a bad experience with a simple fluids and lubricants examination. I was greeted rudely and rushed through the entire process. I stopped shortly after and checked the fluids myself and I don't think they even popped the hood. The manager was ignorant and the staff was careless and they were not willing to work with me even for a second. I went in the second time calm and complacent and informed them that they forgot to change the oil (it was black as night) and they're response was "that's impossible" and as soon as I dissagreed, almost immediately was told "the door is right there" if you want a honest experience jiffy lube on river road is definitely not the place to go. read more

I went to jiffy and got my car's oil changed there. In that they check your tire pressure. The caps to my tires check the pressure and if not screwed on right, will leak air. Which I found out after coming out of taking a test. My tire was flat. So I put on the spare and took it to the tire shop and asked if it could still be used and what might have caused it. The man that checked my tire said the cap wasn't screwed on right and it leaked the air and that the tire was ruined because of it rubbing and going flat. So I bought a new one for 16 bucks with the deal I had on the tire. It was obviously jiffy lines fault, as no one had touched my tire caps except them and this was the first time it had ever happens. I went and spoke with the manager of jiffy lube and he was very understanding and said he would call me within the week to give me sixteen bucks after discussing things with his manager. I waited the week and still no call. I went back and got the same runaround... waited two weeks and went in again... same thing... I went a final time and still same thing... I have lost hopes of ever getting refunded for the tire they ruined. If jiffy lube would like to contact the specific branch it is the Saint George, UT branch on river road... I will never go there again and will tell everyone I meet about this terrible experience. I've taken my car to get an oil change to this location a few times now, and the guys are super nice and don't treat me any differently than they do a man (I've watched). That's a good thing--I hate when men in this field treat woman like they're idiots, assuming we know nothing about cars. Trevor shows me the checklist and explains what they've done every time. If possible I would give this location a 0. I went there earlier this year and not only received poor service but they also failed to notify me of an ongoing sale price for an oil change. I have been a lifetime JL customer and at all other locations I have always been given the best rate available except at this location. When I complained to JL Customer Service, I was told 3 times that someone from this JL Service Center 3725 on S. River Road would contact me to address my concerns. No such luck... I've been a customer for over 12 years, always get my oil services and inspection done by Jiffylube; not anymore! My car inspection was failed for 3 things, I fixed the tires, exhaust, the wiper blades I looked up sate code because the worked fine and didn't show "significant wear" So i took my car back down and showed them my wipers, Ralph comes over and shows a small tear on the passenger side that either wasn't there or i didn't see before. I told them to go ahead and fix it but When i explained that that his services and attitude just made a Grease Monkey customer he said "goes somewhere else, they would not honor the inspection they had done. I said fine give me a refund then, he would not and walked away as i said I would post a review on Yelp, Google and twitter and anywhere else I could. DO NOT go to this location. I went to get a safety inspection on my '99 Jeep Wrangler. They told me I had bad windshield wipers and belt. I looked at them both with the service tech. The wipers were fine and the tech didn't know what to say. There were no cracks or wear in the belt. I pointed that out to the the service tech. (the engine was rebuilt only 5000 miles prior and the belt was virtually new). Jiffy Lube's manager disagreed. When I asked him for his district manager's name and phone number, he wouldn't give it to me. They failed the inspection and charged me $15. His district manager's name is Sean Jost from the Red Cliffs location. I had Sean look at the belt and told me there was nothing wrong with the belt and my Jeep should have passed the inspection. The River Road location is a "racket." They're thiefs and will not to hesitate to rob you blind! My father was a diesel Mechanic for 40 years and I know auto mechanics. They prey on those who they think they can take advantage of. read more
