Terrible. Would not recommend. Went for an oil change and they asked if I wanted to "top off" my antifreeze because it was "a little low" I said sure. They never mentioned that it was almost a $20 fee. I waited in my car and watched him take 2 seconds to put a little antifreeze in my car. At the end, I saw the added charge and he said that he had to put 3 quarts of antifreeze in. There's no way that's accurate and if there was a charge, it should have been mentioned when I was asked, rather than acting like it's complimentary. Other places top off fluids complimentary with an oil change. I'll never go back and I would recommend you go there either! read more

Came for an oil change and front brakes, was lied to about the estimated time for parts to come. They did not have them in stock. Was told it would take 30min to an hour for oil change and brakes. Stuck here for 3 hours now. Just the normal run of the mill bad jiffy lube. Don't expect them to be on time ever. read more

I came in for an oil change and tire rotation. The staff was very friendly and quickly completed the task in less than 30 minutes. The price was reasonable and even better with the coupon I found online. The following day I asked them to take a look at an issue I was having with my AC discharge hose. I thought the hose was blocked because I found water inside my passenger side floor. The technicians fixed the problem quickly and I truly appreciated his efforts. Thank you, Jiffy Lube. read more

Tried to get an oil change here. HIGHLY DONT RECOMMEND. After waiting 15 minutes for someone to speak to me (two cars inside, no line). An employee came out to tell me 117$. I then showed him the pricing online at which time he had to walk into his manager and then the price was 65$. Not sure what scam that was but I really needed my oil changed. I then waited an hour and 15 minutes to have him come after the bay was empty for 15 minutes to speak rudely to me and tell me they aren't going to change my oil today. If you want a good oil change, go anywhere else. You may think this will save you time, it won't. BEWARE OF THESE SCAM ARTISTS. I was a regular here until the new manager Barry started. now i am fearful for all of their customers. The person who was in front of me had come back and said his oil was leaking. When I went to another jiffy on Germantown ave they showed that a "last resort" plug was placed on my pan bc Flourtown stripped the original plug and did not notify me. Pretty much as awful as you can get. The technicians lie to you to try to get you to pay for mechanical services that are not needed. Just trying to get an oil change and the tech is telling me how bad my brakes are. I get my oil changed and schedule an appointment with my mechanic to get my brakes serviced and my mechanic says no issue with brakes. I had Richard and let me tell u I'm not a people person but this guy is the MAN. Not only did he fix all he could while I was there having my first experience but I never heard of some of the things that were going wrong and I had a master mechanic working on my car. Well we know that's now dead. He helped me to feel safe and secure and.i trusted him from the first time he told me what was going on. Long time customer of this location. I had my oil changed yesterday (8/24/2018) and within an hour, tried to open my trunk with fob without success. I drove back to see if maybe something had been turned off by mistake. The "manager" was very dismissive and was adamant that there was no way it was their fault. I asked if he could just check as it worked the night before and he agreed. He then commented that there was no need to yell and scream- there was no yelling and screaming. There was annoyance due to having to drive all the way back when heading on a trip but that was it. When I tried to say no one was yelling, I was cut off with a dismissive hand wave. That was it; I left. I cannot complain about the actual oil change or any oil change I have had there over the past 10 years, but I will never return to this location due to the mistreatment. I did take it to a mechanic who found a reset button and told me that those changing the oil probably hit it by mistake. Things happen and if this manager had better customer service skills, you would still have a customer here. read more

If I could give this location zero stars I would. I just sat in line at the Flourtown location for almost 2 hours waiting for our turn to pull in for an oil change. When our Bay emptied they did not open the doors for us to enter even though we were next in the line. The two cars at the bays next to us arrived a good 20-30 minutes after we did. The manager came out, didn't even acknowledge us and walked over and checked the other two cars in and never came to us. Their bays were not even empty yet. Then the manager closed the door and never came to check us in. I called the store from the car and the manager gave some lame excuse that we arrived after the other cars which is a complete lie. This manager needs some serious trading because she is horrible at her job and at customer service. If you want your time wasted and to deal with untrained management staff come to this location. I have been taking my car here for years for oil changes but I will not be going there again. A month after passing an inspection somewhere else, I took my car to get an oil change. They tried to tell me that my break rotors needed to be replaced, which would have been surprising. Since we are about to go on a road trip, I went back to the place where I got the inspection and they checked it out and said the rotors were fine. Sounds like Jiffy Lube was just trying to make an extra buck which is super frustrating to me since I have kids and don't want to worry about my car not being in good shape when it actually is. read more

The worst! Stay away...I went there for my "quick" free oil change that I was promised by the manager because they had left a cap off causing my check emissions light to come on. I called jiffy lube and they told me they weren't connected and not to bother to coming back. 60 dollars later at the dealership I find out it was totally connected, and the tech at jiffy lubes fault because the tech forgot to replace a cap when changing my oil. My quick free oil change took a hour and then they forgot to attach the skid plate properly so it came off when I was on the highway later that day and it began to bang against the bottom of my car. Had to return twice for them to fix it and both times was reminded about all the services I had to get but did not really need at all. I was a nervous wreck driving my car because I was told so many things were wrong and broken and broken with it. I took it to the dealership and nothing was wrong! It was all made up! NOTHING was broken and nothing needed to be changed (break pads etc) they even told me when my tires squeaked it was because I needed break pads. They said this after rotating my tires for free because of the first incident. One tire squeaked when I left the garage and I never heard it again. To find out it was all a lie and a high pressure predatory sales tactic has me feeling like I was being taken for a ride. Trying to rip off a single woman who works very hard for meager pay is bullshit and you should be ashamed William. I work in a medical office down the street from this location and will be spreading the word! I'm pissed. I have been coming here since I was 16, almost 25 years but, I'm finished. Their customer service is the reason I will go back. I pulled my car up and the young man (15-16 years) was standing at my car before I even got out. He greeted me with crazy stuff like "Sir..." and "Please...". He quickly escorted me into the front office. We should not forget he held the door open for me. Young woman at the register explained they will be right with me once they assess my car and explain which type of oil change i should get. I waited 5 minutes. That was just enough time to become an "iPhone scholar" on the different types of oil. I was prepared for what I though was the inevitable "up sell" to some magic oil. (I wasted my time.) An older man had come to front office after that 5 minutes and asked me to come into the service bay so he can explain my oil options. He broke it down simply and provided 3 options: Cheap, middle and most expensive. At no time did I feel pressured. I chose the middle and he explained 10 more minutes and I'd be ready to go. After no more than 10 minutes I was paid and ready to go. The young woman opened the door and the young man held the car door (keys in hand). The final straw? They vacuumed the car and cleaned the windows. Who does that? ... all the while saying "Please... sir... thank you!" Final words: You could save some money and do it yourself. But time is a luxury that I'm willing to put a premium on. These folks know that and show their appreciation in their customer service. read more

They even open and close your door for you upon arrival and departure from their location. Waiting room is clean and comfortable. Staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and extremely efficient. I went here for an oil change and they made me get out of my car and wait in the waiting room. I sat and watched through the window as someone got in the back seat of my car. I asked the attendant about it and he said "it's fine, he knows what he is doing." When I got my car back, the two rolls of quarters that I keep in the middle console was gone. I stopped at the Jiffy Lube in Flourtown once because Tires Plus across the street couldn't get me in for an Oil Change that day and I was driving to NY the next day. The service was quick and vacuuming the inside of my Jeep was a nice touch. However the next morning I noticed a small oil spot on my driveway. It wasn't leaking much so I figured I'd stop into the dealership where I bought my Jeep (and where a cousin is the Service Manager) to have them take a look. The oil plug had been misthreaded going back in causing the leak and they had either stripped it trying to get it in or back out. It wasn't a huge problem to fix, but it would've been nice if they'd let me know they had a problem with it. read more

I didn't want to believe it from a previous review but it happened. I stopped by on Wednesday for a required state inspection and was told Friday is the only day for those. Came back today, Friday, in the morning and was told the inspection person didn't show up and it would be at least next week. And I should call first to be sure. Not positive but I believe state law mandates that an inspection station must maintain certain hours that are publicly available. Regardless, we drivers rely on these services to avoid fines and trouble with the legal authorities. Only reason it's two stars rather than one is that Larry who came out to greet me seemed empathetic and maybe even a little frustrated at having to tell folks this info. But unfortunately for them, my business will now be going down the street to the Flourtown Service Center and it sounded like I wasn't the first. read more

I came to this location because of the 4 star rating. I am pretty savvy with all Jiffy Lubes because they upsell the hell out of all their services. This time takes the cake. I replaced my air filter before going in because thats their number one upsell. The tech then shows me a dirty air filter on his desk and tried to sell me new one. The only problem was that it wasn't even my air filter. Sad part is the other techs gave this guy a hard time for miscommunication and the whole exchange between them was totally unprofessional. Dear Jiffy Lube, most of the the time i just want a basic change. I dont need all the extras. Thats why I come here. I can also do without all the guilt trips on my tires and the type of oil I use. . I went in for an oil change early morning one day. I work every day, had very little time and these guys got me in and out quickly. I was really happy with the service and attentiveness. I was shocked at the $40 price tag for an oil change, but they also vacuum your car, wash your windows and check fluids - all great things thanks. then, a few days later I notice an oil stain on my driveway. Needless to say, I was upset and I drove back to Jiffy Lube. There was a bad part that they fixed, that should have been noticed during the oil change. I'm still pretty upset at the stain on my driveway and the fact that I had to return to the Jiffy Lube, however, they did make it right and they did apologize and they took my car right away and fixed it immediately. They clearly were concerned that I was upset. I would give them another chance for these reasons. read more

Jiffy Lube markets its many-point service as part of the deal when you get an oil change. I brought my car in for an oil change and when I was ready to leave, the car had not been vacuumed nor windows washed, as they had claimed. I pointed this out to the attendant, who summoned a surly young woman who grudgingly took my car, cursorily vacuumed and wiped windows, and brought it back with a grunt. Nobody apologized for the oversight, but instead acted like my request was somehow unreasonable. -- oh and and "we don't do that" was the response to whether they could run the vacuum over the seats (not just the floors) or the inside of the windows (instead of just the outside). Also, I was surprised to find that despite the fact that I had brought my car to Jiffy Lube before, they didn't have records of the type of oil I'd used before, and tried to upsell me. Attendant explained that these are independently owned franchises that don't keep records in a unified system. Bummer. But that also tells me that I'm better off going to the OTHER near-ish by Jiffy Lube in the future - since they are more service oriented and don't make me watchdog them for decent service. read more
