WARNING: DO NOT BRING YOUR VEHICLE TO THIS BUSINESS -- RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL & POSSIBLY RACIST…read moreBEHAVIOR I am writing this review because no one -- and I mean no one -- should have to experience what my family went through at Five Points Gulf Service Center in Blue Bell, PA. This place is a disgrace to the automotive industry, and the owner, Luigi, should not be in business. I brought my son's car in for inspection stickers -- something simple. Luigi kept the car for TWO WEEKS and never did any work. No inspection. No repairs. Not even a phone call. Just silence, excuses, and complete disregard for our time. During that time, my son and I had to share my car -- all while he was preparing for his high school graduation. He had graduation rehearsals, a job to get to, and so did I. This caused real stress and hardship, but Luigi didn't care. He held the car hostage without explanation. When we called for updates, he was rude and nasty every single time. After two weeks of no progress, we went to the shop in person to get answers. What happened next was appalling. As soon as I entered the building -- calmly and respectfully -- Luigi came storming through the door, screaming at me in front of my teenage son. I hadn't even said a word. He yelled, "I'll call you when it's ready!" then shouted, "Take your paperwork and your car and GET OUT!" He was angry, aggressive, and hostile, acting as though I had no right to even be there. To make things worse, his wife was just as rude, cold, and completely unprofessional. Let me be clear: I am an African-American woman, and based on how I was treated -- with open hostility, no provocation, and no professionalism -- I strongly believe this was racially motivated. Luigi spoke to me with a level of disrespect and aggression that made me feel targeted, humiliated, and unsafe. My son watched it all unfold, and it was heartbreaking. Luigi originally quoted $250 for inspection stickers -- yet no service was performed. Just two weeks of delays, verbal abuse, and a total lack of accountability. Even though I feared for my life in that moment, one thing is certain: this will be the last time Luigi ever screams at a Black woman like that without being held accountable. He may have thought he could get away with it -- but not this time. If you are a woman, a person of color, or simply someone who expects to be treated with dignity and respect, then this is not the place for you. I will never go back. I will never recommend this business. And I will make sure everyone I know stays far away from Five Points Gulf Service Center in Blue Bell, PA. There are plenty of honest, respectful mechanics out there. Luigi is not one of them. This shop does not deserve your trust, your time, or your business.

Loved that extra little bit of care because nothing drives me crazier than trying to find an envelope and pen in my car because there's nothing but a key drop slot in the door in so many other places. They think of the little things. I had made my appointment online a couple of weeks before using one of the flyers that came in the mail, I scanned the QR code. I did put it in my phone as a reminder however I actually put in the wrong day, I would have been a day late however they sent me a reminder text to let me know that hey your appointment is coming up. Amazing, and very timely! I spoke mainly with Brandon and in all my years I have never spoken to any car repair place and receive such great service. He listened to my concerns as I have a few because my car is older. They kept me apprised of every step of the way. From initial diagnostics, when they finish them they sent me a link that took me to a website but not only detailed information about what needed to be done, but also recommendations with PICTURES to show what they were talking about. I was able to show them to my brother who was mechanic in New Jersey he said I see their concern and he agreed on their diagnostics, but we're getting rid of the car within a year so no need to do those things right now. When I spoke to Brandon we talked about what needed to be done for the inspection, the things that I wanted to have done extra including the oil and having an A/C repaired, and there was zero hard sell of any of the other options that were recommended but not needed at time of service. I have never had such an amazing experience at a mechanic shop in all my years and I can guarantee I will never go to another auto repair shop as long as I live in this area, I finally found the best mechanics around and trust me I've been to probably just about all of them including dealerships. They are absolutely outstanding and it didn't matter who I spoke to on the phone they were great, Brandon stood out as exceptional. Thank you Ross for the detailed Diagnostics.

I had a tricky battery issue that they helped me sort out over the past week, and they were nothing but honest, patient, and helpful the whole way through. They kept me updated, explained everything clearly, and even though my car had to stay overnight twice, once the issue was identified, they didn't charge me for the fix! On top of their top tier service and fair pricing, it's the peace of mind that they offer that sets them apart. I couldn't recommend them more.

Unfortunately our car died - although it is still running when it should not be so it is a zombie car - so we have purchased another BMW 3 so it will be a little while before we are back. I first went to GT several years ago. They're nice enough. went in for a routine oil change, and when I went to pick up my car, got slammed with an unexpected bill. We had a very negative experience recently and won't be returning. Not sure how we could trust them after this... Took our car to hinks as we've done for years for an inspection. Was quoted over $2,750 for repairs necessary to make the car pass inspection. With such a high price tag to fix an older car, we actually considered trading it in for a new car before ultimately deciding to get it fixed. Priced out the parts online and found that with labor, should've been able to get the car repaired for about half the price. Took it to another area garage that confirmed they'd be able to do the repair for $1,200, so we went with that garage. When they went to do the work, we got a call from them and I was expecting bad news and additional repairs / money needed... but they actually told me that they couldn't find any of these major problems with the car. There was only one minor fix needed. Car passed inspection and the inspection and minor repair cost me $125. I was so shocked that I took it to a 3rd garage and asked them to review the issues Hinks had identified and the 3rd garage confirmed they couldn't find any sign of those issues. Feel taken advantage of by a business we've been supporting for years. Would've been taken for a $2,500 ride if we didn't get a second opinion.
