I was waiting to see what the outcome of my situation was going to be before I wrote a review. I went to this Jiffy Lube on 6 May prior to hitting the road back to Texas where I'm stationed. I was in town because I had an event to attend and my son was graduating from Basic Training. Yes I drove there and back lol. My visit wasn't pleasant and my main complaint was I wasn't told prior to service that the payment machines were down so I could be given the opportunity to make the decision on if I wanted to pay cash or go somewhere else. Plus after paying cash, I wasn't given a receipt for proof of payment and service. I wrote corporate who forwarded my concerns to the franchise owner. She did get back with me and since I was traveling and settling in at home it took me a couple days to get back with her. She heard my concerns again and went on to resolve my issue. This here is customer service. I would recommend going to owners of the establishment (case by case) first. I would definitely return to this location again because it is evident that the owner is aiming for a 5 star Jiffy Lube. read more

We want Penzoil motor oil and Jiffy Lube was the only place that offers it. They were courteous and professional. Very happy service.

A synthetic oil change costed $77.99 including taxes. The service was completed in around 35 minutes. A tire rotation (advised to be done every 6,000 miles) costed ~ $22 + taxes. To top off the antifreeze/coolant, it will cost you $5 + taxes. The manager Karla mentioned initially a $22 discount with a gift card from Shell by sending documents. Nevertheless, the cashier Adrian O. didn't know anything about it. I wish their pricing was more transparent. The tire technician Robert B. was unable to perform my tire rotation. Robert B. said the prior tire technician at another car repair screw the knobs of tire too tight. Their machine was unable to get the tires off my car. The staff advised to go to a tire shop to have my tire rotation done. The cashier Adrian O. said the tire shop may have more powerful machines. The bill stated they vacuumed my car. The status was written as "completed". They didn't do anything. There were still dead leaves and dirt both in the front and back of my car. I had a $7 coupon for a synthetic oil change today, which they honored. I found this coupon on their website. The quaint waiting room had magazines, chairs, a coffee machine and water fountain and medium-sized TV. There were two kids' chairs and some toys (i.e.: puzzle, etc.). A vending machine with drinks from the Coca-Cola company was just in front of the cashier by the waiting room. The unisex bathroom had an average cleaneless. There were pieces of white tissue paper on the floor. Their prices were significantly higher ($73.91, including the $7 coupon and taxes) than at the local Toyota car dealership (a synthetic oil change costed $59 including taxes). Absolutely the worst and probably most expensive place to go for an oil change. I brought my car in and had the oil replaced. Approximately two weeks later I noticed there was oil on my garage floor. I called Jiffy Lube and was told to bring it by, which I did and then I was told they could not tell where the oil was coming from that it might be the oil pan gasket and I was sent away. When I got a chance, I brought it to another service center that said they would need to run the UV dye to know exactly where the oil leak was coming from. Since I don't put many miles on the car, they said to bring it back after a couple of weeks to let it circulate. I did this and they said it was the oil drain plug that was leaking. I called Jiffy Lube and was instructed to bring it back in again, so I did. When I got there, the tech looked at it and after cleaning the oil off and then running the car a little it was confirmed again that it is the oil drain plug that is leaking. I was told that if I did the tech a 'favor' and went to the dealer and got a new drain plug that he would replace it and they would also cover the cost of the plug. The closest dealer is quite a ways away but I needed this taken care of, so I made the trip and brought back the plug with the invoice. Then I was told they needed to call the manager and after speaking with her they told me she was her way in. Once she finally got there and spoke to someone on the phone for a while and also went out into the shop for a while, she told me that they didn't touch the drain plug so they were not going to replace it. After wasting a large part of the day I was basically told that even though the drain plug was leaking right after an oil change that Jiffy Lube would do nothing for me at all despite lying to me and telling me they would. I informed the manager that I would be putting in a complaint with corporate and also make sure to post reviews detailing my experience. She flat out refused to give me her full name after I said I would be putting in a complaint with corporate which I have already done. If you want somewhere that stands behind their work, then I would highly suggest going elsewhere. There are lots of places around that are cheaper so you would think you would get the best service when you pay a premium but that is definitely not the case. I just hope this review spares some other people from my experience. Now I need to take this to a mechanic to make sure they did not strip the threading of the oil pan causing a much bigger problem which appears to be the reason she said they would not replace the oil plug. They are obviously worried about a bigger repair bill. One of the reviews mentioned a lawsuit about oil plugs with Jiffy Lube which after this does not surprise me at all. If it does end up being something more serious then I will certainly be looking at my options to pursue this in other ways. So basically, a tech admits responsibility committing to rectify the problem and then the manager refuses to follow through on that even after I went and got the part for them. A part that I was told would also be reimbursed and never was. Now the manager is clearly grasping at straws trying to make excuses in order to refuse to fix the problem. read more

Got a nail in tire on the highway. Called Jiffy Lube for assistance. Woman on the phone said they repair (patch/plug) tires. Drove 12 miles to location only for technician to say they don't repair tires. Website clearly lists tire repair as a service. read more

Not particularly happy with the service here.. the people who work here are nice but they oversell you on products without fully explaining them to you.. secondly i noticed in the service comments that they mentioned they observed damage to the car body prior to service but they did not communicate to me what the damage was they observed. So i didn't appreciate that. All in all They did what i paid for, but I expected better so I probably wont go here again for that reason. read more

I was greeted by Speedy within 15 seconds of pulling up. He held the door for me to wait in the lobby while the car was being serviced. I watched every worker continue to open doors of the building and the customers vehicle doors for each customer. Nice touch to still have southern gentlemen working there! Fantastic service, the team down there were very friendly and honest, replaced my front brake pads and changed my oil. Some people may question the price being a little higher on the oil change. But if you need to get your fluids checked, car vacuumed, tire pressure checked, stop by and they will take care of it for free, peace of mind if you need it. Thank you guys. read more

I went here for a simple oil change, after waiting 45 minutes they told me they couldn't do the oil change because I had an oil leak that was too bad to be able to do the change. I asked them if they were able to see where the leak was coming from or if they would be able to fix it and they said no. They wouldn't give me any explanations and just walked away. After another 5 minutes of waiting for them to pull my car up so I could leave they had another person come up to me and told me I could leave. After getting in my car my computer system told me that my tires had too much air in them (around 44-46) when my tires only need 30. I went back inside and asked them if they put any air in the tires and they said yes & when i told them that it was too much and I needed some air taken out they changed the story and said they didn't put any air in my tires and that they "don't take air out of tires." I was so mad at this point after being here for an hour the only service I got was tires with too much air and rude employees lying to me. I told them that I have been coming to Jiffy Lube for years and they have always put air in my tires or fixed them for me with no problem. This place is terribly ran. We arrived at a good time because we pulled right into the bay for an oil change. The service was quick - 15 minutes quick. I don't like the fact that they recommend every service in the computer, and explain the services provided so quickly as if we were in an auction. I do like the fact that u can stand by the door and look at the work being done. The price is reasonable. The waiting area was clean. Real nice & fast service. Monitors in the waiting room so I can watch what they are doing to my car while sitting in an air-conditioned room. Got oil change and FREE brakes inspection. Came during busy time (Friday near closing time), but not too long of wait. Explained everything and what they were for, gave me an estimate of brake change after about 10 - 15 min of inspection. I visited the Sunset Blvd West Columbia location. I went there on Friday Aug 2. Went with my fleet vehicle needing just air in the tire since was almost too flat to even drive on. I drive up to where the air hose is since our fleet vehicles frequent this location getting oil changes. Young guy with black hair walks to me and I told him all I need is air. He says they can't do it. When I asked why he said the machine was broken. I told him to tell me where I could go since I couldn't get on road with the tire as flat as it is. He walks back to ask his manager. He comes back and says they can do it but i have to pull car around to the back and wait 15 mins. Which was odd since I was just told it was broken AND only 1 car in the bay and at least 2 people working on the 1 car and 2 doing NOTHING. One employee heard our exchange and when I pulled car around he looked at me and when I went inside he had my car done with in 2 mins. The first guy was totally rude. Not wanting to help me. So you know you are going to pay more at Jiffy Lube, with or without a coupon. Let's just be real. However, the convenience is USUALLY worth it. 1 week after I grossly overpaid for an oil change, I was out of wind shield wiper fluid AND had to fill my tires up with air. They did not have a leak, but clearly were never filled. That was over a month ago, so I know my tires were fine. I specifically asked them to check the tire pressure at my appointment because I thought they were a little low. The response I got? "Uh, yeah....We do that anyway." I supplied the oil and filter I wanted used and told them how much oil the car takes. They put all 10 quarts of oil in it even though I told them it takes 8.5 quarts. The oil I used was very expensive and they wasted 1.5 quarts and had to drain it out after I told them they overfilled my car and did not even offer to compensate for the oil they wasted. (I asked for the remaining oil and he said he had to use both 5 quart jugs. That's when I knew right away they overfilled). It took much longer than the 15-20 minutes I was told it would take when it was first brought inside as well. Once I told them it was over-filled it took them at least 30 minutes to even get my car back inside. I also told them how much air I wanted in my tires and they ignored that as well. Horrible service, and couldn't even follow simple instructions and left dirt/oil prints on the car and engine with barely any effort to half-way clean. This was the first time I ever used Jiffy Lube and second time letting someone else change my oil. I will never use Jiffy Lube again obviously. This experience will ensure I keep doing my own car work. read more

This location is giving Jiffy Lube a bad reputation. I arrived with my Jiffy Lube coupon mailer and ask the young man if they take coupons, because I had one for $15 off when purchasing the synthetic blend oil change. The young man said I would have to ask his manager who was also the cashier. So they had me pull my car into the bay area and informed me that because of COVID19 I would have to wait in the car or outside. It was a nice day, so I decided to wait outside. But before I went to go sit outside, I held up my coupon to the manager and asked him if he takes coupons, and he nodded yes. Once the oil change was completed, another young man took my card and the coupon for payment. When he returns with my receipt and card, I looked it over and discovered that the manager/cashier only took $10 off with the coupon, not the $15 off that my purchase qualified for, which is why I came in, in the first place. When I questioned the transaction, I was told there was nothing that could be done because that's what the system took off when he entered the code. Mr. Therman Couch said there was nothing he could do about how much the coupon took off. He Informed me that I would have to take the issue up with corporate by filling out the survey at WWW.SURVEYMONKEY.Com/R/JIFFYCUSTOMERCOMMENT and he was sure they would send me a coupon for the $5 that he claims he could not take off my bill using the coupon I gave him. Are you kidding me? Now imagine 100 customers arriving at this Jiffy Lube with their $15 off coupons in hand, paying their bill but not reading over the receipt and only being given $10 off not $15 off. That's $500 dollars Jiffy Lube just pocketed under false advertisement. I will never go back to that Jiffy Lube or maybe even any Jiffy Lube for matter. read more

I went for Oil change($40) value, they told me battery needed replacement and coolant change which I agreed to as he said if I do both he gives Oil Change ($40) for free. My total came to $220 (battery =$130 + coolant =$90). i had just started moving out of their driveway and made a left turn on Hardscrabble rd and I started hearing lot f thumping on right side of my tyres. I might have driven 50 feet and took u-turn and went back to Jiffylube. They found BIG NAIL on my rear right tyre. They asked me to go to Frank's Tyre across the street and said they'll do it at no cost. I went to Frank's tyre and they charged me $25.00. Well my car was not on public property and tyres got nailed on JiffyLube premise. They should have paid for it. Here they give me oil change for so called FREE and nail my tyres and make me pay $25. Its matter of my money and my tyres. Now my tyre has a hole and who knows how long will it remain intact. I will never go to Jiffylube ever. My husband always gets synthetic oil change but I will not ask him to go there ever. Well they lost 2 customers already. I will not recommend JL to anyone. Once I had been to Goodyear for my oil change and they gave me back my car with tail light bulb off. It was wierd because before I took my car to them I ad checked it and all lightbulbs were fine so I never went back to them! BEST MECHANICS are EXPRESS OIL CHANGE at Sandhills Village Mall. Don't use them!!!! They damaged my car, and then blamed the last place I had an oil change. They also told us we needed a tire rotation. We had just bought new tires before we drove to Jiffy Lube. We also were told we needed to flush our radiator, even though we had just replaced the entire system the week before.
