They in turn called this business. The owner got BIG mad and decided to call the car rental company and told me on the phone I could not retrieve the car. He was VERY nasty. I also contacted the car rental company to let them know what was going on. The rental car company called them and the fee had increased to $638 in a matter of minutes. Kingston added several fees because they are MAD I called the property where I live. I would never do business with a company that lacks a professional business demeanor and is outright nasty and retaliatory. They cannot be trusted and lack integrity. They will reap what they have sown.

I was a guest doing a favor for a relative. My car was towed within a 30 minute time span. Dispatch for Kingston would not answer the phone upon numerous attempts. They even answered the phone and hung up the call twice. After a few more attempts dispatch finally answers the call with a rude demeanor. He didn't answer all of my questions because he decided to hang on me. I was not rude or belligerent at any point. I was just trying to understand the process because I had never been towed before. Fast forward to the next morning I find out that my car along with 2 other cars had been towed and that the apartment complex has Kingston MotoWerks come in at night a few times each week to tow cars. My issues comes with being told one price in order to get my car but being told something different once I arrived. I was told 300 dollars, but I was charged 340 dollars. Second issue that if you are going to be dispatch don't have an attitude with people that are calling attempting to get information about their vehicle. Dispatch is also the owner and from what I have been informed he is rude with everyone. I do not recommend this business and recommend the residents of Saint Andrew's Commons to be aware. The entire process and partnership between Saint Andrew's Commons and Kingston MotoWerks is very sketchy.

From the moment I arrived, they went above and beyond for me. They were able to fit me into their schedule and performed a 31-point inspection, which gave me tremendous peace of mind. They took the time to thoroughly look over the vehicle and listen to every concern I had rather than making me feel rushed or like I was just another customer. They recommended some age-related maintenance, and we took care of several important items, including replacing a belt, servicing and cleaning the CVT transmission fluid, flushing the brake fluid and radiator/coolant system, and reprogramming my tire-pressure sensors so they would work properly. They also took the time to look at several other concerns I had and gave me helpful guidance without making me feel pressured. I asked him where he took his vehicles and he said D and R. So that is where I went. I am very glad that is where I ended up. David got there about seven although they don't open until 8, I went in and told him my problem he said as soon as they opened they would look at my car and I was welcome to wait in the waiting room. At 8 they had several other vehicles there but took my car right in and told me what was wrong with it, gave me a very accurate estimate and began to fix my car. It only took them a couple hours to fix and I was on my way. While I was waiting, there were many people who came in to drop off their cars, I noticed that many of these people seemed to be repeat customers, for an oil change, tire rotation, just general maintenance not one person had any thing negative to say about this business, and I was able to talk to many of them while I was waiting. I found the men who worked there very knowledgeable and friendly. II found this business very upfront and honest. Given my situation that morning a less reputable company could have taken advantage of me. If I lived in the area I would use them for all my mechanical needs.

James did not have the part in stock, but instead of simply telling me it was unavailable and ending the call, he went above and beyond to help me. He told me not to waste my time calling Toyota dealerships all over the country one by one. He took the time to search Toyota's dealer inventory system to see if any dealership might still have this discontinued part sitting in stock. James found one for me at a Toyota dealership in Tampa, Florida, and he even took the extra step of finding their telephone number so I could call them directly. Because of James, I was able to locate what appears to be the last one I could find anywhere in the United States. I had spent so much time searching for this part and had reached the point where I honestly thought I would never find one. James made absolutely nothing from helping me. Lugoff Toyota didn't even get the sale. He simply chose to help a customer because he could, and that says so much about him and about the kind of service Lugoff Toyota provides. The day before I took my Jeep to Camden Tire, I installed new Moog ball joints and tie rod ends. Before driving my Jeep, I attempted to align the tow, but the single axel fought me every step of the way. I remember Camden Tire being very kind to a Kershaw County Arts Center friend, so I decided to try them. They could adequately align my Jeep because they have state-of-the-art technology, so I took my Jeep in for an alignment. Master automotive technician Charlie Bell worked on my Jeep for about 90 minutes. He straightened out the steering wheel and got the Jeep within alignment specs but refused to accept payment because he felt that the Jeep could not be aligned to his specifications. I was shocked, to say the least, because of his honesty. Finding an honest automotive technician is challenging. Most automotive centers are out to make money and will sell you repairs you do not need, but to find master automotive technicians such as Charlie is located very few and far between. The tow on the front of my Jeep was set correctly, so I would have never known if the alignment was completed correctly or not; due to Charlie's honesty, I will be a lifelong customer of Camden Tire. Again, honesty and the automotive repair industry do not go hand in hand, but from my experience, it does at Camden Tire.
