**** UPDATED REVIEW (08/16/25) ****…read more Since I've been accused of being a liar (Google review) , here's my detailed experience: I visited this shop for a used tire the Saturday before last. When I returned to my vehicle after being told the work was finished, I walked behind it to get to the driver's side and found my spare--normally stored underneath the car--lying on the ground. No one said anything to me about it, including whether they had the skillset to put it back. Since the shop was closing, I had no choice but to load it into my trunk myself (they get 1 star for getting me in at the last minute). Earlier this week, I called and was told I could bring the car back so they could store it properly. After making the trip, the staff admitted they did not know how to reinstall it underneath the vehicle. This was never mentioned on the initial day of service or when I called before making the second trip. For a tire company--new or used--not having the skillset to put a spare back in its proper location is unacceptable. In all the years I've gone to reputable tire shops, I've never once had to leave with my spare unsecured or in the wrong place. The fact that this happened here, and that I'm still driving around with my spare taking up trunk space, speaks volumes about their level of professionalism. The owner is now claiming my review is "false," but the facts are straightforward: If the spare had never been removed, it wouldn't have been on the ground behind my car. If the staff knew how to reinstall it, they wouldn't have admitted otherwise. TO YOU "OWNER"... If your feelings are truly what you say they are regarding not storing spares in their rightful places (customers, take heed), I suggest you make that policy known via signage as well as verbally to customers. This is coming from a business owner myself. Because of this, I've wasted gas, time, and mileage--and instead of accountability, I've been accused of lying. That only makes an already disappointing experience worse.

It's not difficult to find, but the 12th Street/ Charleston highway/ Augusta road area requires some attention. Be aware of one way streets when you are leaving as well. Again, just pay attention and you won't have a problem. There is limited parking in front of the office, but they have a large area along the street. Their work area is a large covered carport. There were several customers already in the waiting area. I was greeted as soon as I walked in the door even though the manager was on the phone. I have always appreciated acknowledgement of my physical presence over a phone conversation. When he finished with the call, he immediately asked what I needed. My vehicle was pulled into a bay within 5 minutes of my walking in. It took about 40 minutes until the work was completed. While there, on the order of 10 customers walked in. Several were obviously regulars known by name. A couple did get out before me, but their work was very simple. I did not feel I was being pushed aside in favor of others. Once my work was completed, I was given my keys and was able to quickly complete the transaction. No waiting for someone at the counter. I was also given information on overall condition of my tires and what to watch for. They did not try to sell me anything I did not need, and did not give me any dire warnings if I didn't buy something else. This is what local shops (or any store for that matter) should strive to be. A place giving straight information and making sure their customers are treated right.

This had been happening for a while unbeknownst to me. It ended up being the valve cover and turbocharger gaskets and a few other issues. Andrew took time to describe what had been going on and to explain how the leaks had caused issues with hoses and other parts. My goal was to have the car be as roadworthy as possible and it certainly has returned to that. The experience with my MINI is an excellent example of how Andrew's goal of ensuring that the vehicle is in the best state of repair it can be is accomplished.
