Came to jiffy lube because they are nation wide and offer the free top off policy. I'm getting ready to drive across the country, need an oil change, and could use the free top off. When I pulled up there were 2 cars in the bay with 1 waiting outside. The gentleman greeted me and said it would be 1 1/2 hour wait before they could start on my car!! He said it was because the car outside needed a full service. I said, "Are you short staffed?" He stated they all work on 1 car at a time to get it finished as fast as possible. I've never heard of this before. So I left and found another place right down the street. TIp to Jiffy Lube: split up workload to serve more than one customer at a time. read more

Great service, excellent work product, and honest dealing. Always responsive and providing fair and accurate estimations, customer service, and fixes/changes. Essentially what you hope for with a car maintenance shop and better than other Jiffy Lubes I've been to. A nice waiting area with coffee, WiFi, and plugs. As per Jiffy Lube standard sometimes I feel they try to oversell the cabin air filters but if that's the biggest complaint it's not bad at all. read more

tl;dr went for oil change, they forgot to add the oil. I needed an oil change during a short road trip and stopped here because they were open late, the people were very nice and worked quickly to drain the oil (which I watched happen) we got it done and went on our way. 150 miles later we reach our destination and my car was smoking, when we took it to a mechanic they said there was no oil in the car and the dipstick was absolutely dry, because there had been no oil a part of the engine had been damaged. We had the mechanic call Jiffy Lube and ask for the video footage from our visit, the manager was rude, condescending, frankly quite sexist and refused to give us any proof that the oil was added during the oil change. As a result of the failed oil "change" my engine was damaged and we were left stranded on our road trip, with nothing but drama from jiffy lube. avoid at all costs!!! read more

Wonderful service, very fast, and there's usually a good Groupon going that saves you some cash. Only four stars because there are no appointments. It's first come first serve only so you have to go on your day off or after work. Trying to squeeze them in before a shift might not work in your favor. read more

I've been going to the same place to have my oil changed for a while. I guess the thing that impresses me the most is that the people there actually are the same staff since I started going there. There aren't to many places that can hold on to staff for that long anymore. The service is top notch, and the wait time is minimal. I've never had to wait more than 20 minutes, tops read more

I took my car to the Colonial Heights Jiffy lube shop for a oil and filter change. We arrived early and just parked and waited for them to open. There was someone else waiting ahead of us. Don't know how long they had been there. Anyway employees were still arriving and there was this one particular guy that when he walked past my car kept looking back giving me dirty looks. Have no ideal why. When they got to me they first asked if I also wanted a tire rotation, I said no and they proceeded with oil change. A few minutes later, a technician came back with my air filter asking if I wanted them to change it, again I said no, then again a few minutes later, asked if I wanted to top off my antifreeze. Like they just kept coming back and forth instead of doing it all at once. The service dragged out and I felt like the technician was getting offended that they couldn't haggle any more money from me. Meanwhile the person in front of me didn't get that same treatment and they were sent on their way. I felt like they deliberately held my car extra minutes for nothing. When I finally check out, I was informed of more maintenance I would be due on my car before actually checking out. My online coupon was denied and the sticker they normally put on the inside of my car was handed to me instead of them just putting it on. I guess they figured if I could do everything else, I could do that too. A car that came in after mine car got quicker service than me. That wasn't my first time going to that shop, but it will be my last. Every time I go there, they got a different crew. These people were the worst. The Colonial Heights and Chester locations are the worst. read more

Had a good experience here. Came in around 9 am on a Friday for a basic oil change. There was no wait and I was in and out in less than 15 min. (And they actually did change my oil - I watched them do it.) Very friendly service but I thought $45.99 was a bit much for a basic oil change. Definitely look for deals on Groupon or download a coupon from their website before you go! read more

The reason others have said "done in less than ten minutes" is because they don't change the oil. At the least in my case they did not and another Jiffy Lube in Midlothian confirmed this point. Do not trust this specific shop. They took my money and left in the oil on my wifes van that had been sitting awaiting repairs for almost a year, as if" it would not be noticed. Luckily I did and the Jiffy Lube up here made it right. I spoke to the Manager "Tyler" about the problem a week ago and still have not heard back about the resolution. I will contact Corporate tomorrow. Don't trust these guys. read more

I hang out in the bay at every jiffy-lube and chat with the staff. I'm happy with the service I received and I found the staff to be knowledgable. They do push products, like any store, but if you know what you want and demand it you'll get it. read more

Jiffy lube is awful. Do not recommend taking here at all.They overfilled my oil and transmission. Been having problems ever since. If I had the money that I had to put in my truck, I would get a lawyer and sue you all. read more
