I have been a recurring customer over the years when there was a different team up until now. No bad experiences this far. Prices are what they are. If they were cheaper I would be suspicious. The customer service with the person that answers the phone could use a little bit of tweaking but overall not an issue. This place gets a lot of business so they must be doing something right! I waited 2 and a half hours to get a distributor cap replaced on my Cadillac for $105. My car drove there perfectly fine and I didn't even have an engine light on, after I left the shop less than 15 minutes my car rides completely rough with engine light on and it breaks down. I call and tell them they said come back. When I come back they didn't fix it and I didn't get my money back either now my car is sitting in the drive way. Cheap business who scams their customers. One of the worst experience I have ever had. I never write reviews but I read them often and I really hope someone reads this and is spared the awful treatment I received Wednesday, November 1, 2017. I took my car in for a diagnostic and inspection on the 30th and after waiting all day (about 9am-3pm) my car was not looked at. The woman I spoke with was very kind and apologized but their mechanic with the proper computer did not show up. I was upset because they didn't call about this but she was apologetic. She told me not to worry about paying and to bring my car in the next day. I thanked her and her know I'll bring it in Wednesday (the 1st) instead. Brought my car in and another woman was working. She took my keys and said they would give me a call when my car was ready. She calls later and says that their computer got a code that said their was some communication error and that I needed to take it to a Hyundai dealer to have it properly diagnosed. She then told me that they replaced my bulbs (WITHOUT checking with me) and charged me for labor and parts in addition to the diagnostic fee and inspection fee. I explained to her what the previous woman said to me and she said no that the woman did not say that and that there is always a charge. I said I would come in to speak with her in person. I brought my co worker as a witness and support because I very upset but tried very hard to be polite and respectful. I asked her (in person) about the charge again and told her I didn't understand being that not only did the previous woman made the statement that I would not be charged but why am I being charged for a service her computer could not perform. She very rudely insisted that the woman did not tell me that and that she was the owner so it didn't matter what that other woman said. She said that "I knew what I was paying for" and I said I didn't because if you can't even give me a usable code and I have to take it somewhere else to pay to have it diagnosed what was the point? She became extremely rude and dismissive and I asked why she was being so rude to me and she said it was because she had already told me that I needed to pay the full amount. I then asked her did her company make it a standard practice to perform work on a car without consent to which she asked if I wanted the bulbs out and I said yes. She told her mechanic to take them out and my co worker asked about the other bulbs. Again, rudely she stated they were in the trash. I asked which bulbs on the car were they and she said "you can look at your receipt." Mind you she had not given me a receipt. My co worker asked if the bulbs could be retrieved and in nasty tone she pointed at me and said "he can fish them out if he wants em, but my mechanic has work to do." I am very happy my co worker was there because it helped me remain calm. I decided not to engage with this woman anymore because I had plenty of things to say and none of them were nice. Moral of the story DO NOT USE THIS PLACE! Not only do they have shady business practices but this woman who claims to be the owner is a venomous and disrespectful woman without an ounce customer service skill. read more

Do not use this company. I paid $1675 for auto repairs in Feb 2019. A month later I heard clicking sound while going over bumps. I told the company. They told me it was an exhaust hanger and sent me to a shop in Dinwiddie where I paid $46. That didn't fix the problem. So i took it back then they said it was the sway bar links and would cost me $162. I paid that on a Saturday and they still hadnt fixed the problem when they accepted a payment. They closed that same day so i haf to wait till Monday to bring it back.They took my money and didnt fix my car.They stole my money and didn't fix my car.i spoke to the owner for a refund. She said I was not getting one and said that my car was old like that was the reason I was having the problem. The owner was rude and has no respect for her customers. She needs a reality check because without customers she wouldn't have a business. I plan on contacting the Bbb and probably Channel 12 as well as small claims court. read more

Worst service ever I came to get an inspection and got denied for windshield whippers and high beam head light, ok cool they tried to charge me about 100 dollars to get it fixed so I went and replace what needed to be replaced and adjusted. I came back waited for about 35 mins nobody attending to my vehicle while they were sitting down and conversing, I was on my work break and had to leave so I came back again same day and said they can not get to me. I came back the next day waited another 40 min only to be told that they can't get to me and was told that there web site is down. Ok cool, I came back Saturday morning and I was told it would be a 4 hour wait. Now I come back Monday morning saying that I needed and headlight adjustment witch I already got done by my mechanic and it would be another 25 dollars. Please run when you guy see this place they would try and up charge for any and everything and you will be taken advantage of please do not take your business there you will regret it read more

Being a small business owner myself I would never post negatively about another business unless it was truly warranted. Over two weeks ago one of my employees took his company vehicle to Harris Auto on the Boulevard because it would not start. After sitting there about 10 days or so they told him the computer was bad and the new one would be in Monday and only take about 30 minutes to install. Well Monday came and went so I called this morning and explained (very nicely) that we really needed that service vehicle back on the road as soon as possible. The woman at Harris became very agitated and said she didn't appreciate having demands placed on her....I further explained that I was not making a demand but just explaining to her the importance of having the vehicle back as soon as possible. Still she was very rude and uncooperative on the phone. My employee went inside Harris a while later and inquired about the current status and was told by the woman that "I'm not talking to you or your asshole boss, you have to talk to someone else and I'm about ready to have your SUV towed away from here". Wow....really? Is this how they treat all of their customers? Now we made arrangements for another repair shop to go and pick it and tow it to their shop to finish the job. Now to add insult to injury, they are charging a diagnostic fee of $340.00! They had the vehicle for over 2 weeks sitting in the same spot for most of that time and apparently only started to look at it a week ago after we called to check on it. Harris at one time was a very good shop....fast service and fair prices, now I could not recommend this business to my worst enemy. With so many auto repair shops in Colonial Heights they should not treat customers this way. read more
