Brought my fleet vehicle in to the Chicopee, MA. location and asked specifically for an oil change. They then proceeded to add on a tire rotation and wiper replacement through the fleet company without my consent. They then got nasty because I did not want to proceed and insisted the direction was coming from the fleet company. Unfortunately I didn't have the time for the tire rotation and proceeded to write up negative remarks back to the fleet company that I declined the service and was disrepectful to their team. Had my car done in march by jiffy lube. After 5000 miles I am now going to get my car serviced. Turns out the drain plug was loose by about 4 turns. Oil all over the underside of my car. I went in for an oil change on my Kia soul and spent $171 on the oil change, air filter and fluid top off which was way more than it would cost at a real garage.....that part is bad enough but to add insult to injury they neglected to close the air filter compartment so for more than a month my motor was sucking in dirt. I'm not saying I expected top mechanics outta that place but even I know how properly fasten the clamps on air filter housing unit and considering the left multiple clamps undone i consider that straight negligence. I was treated with great courtesy by the mechanic and the manager. That was not the problem. My Preuis was coughing white smoke out of the exhaust and my temperature sensor was constantly turned on. A complete flushing of the antifreeze in the cooling system was recommended and I paid $141 thinking I was being safe, just in case. The temperature warning light however did not turn off. I was told there might be a faulty sensor. However, the next day the motor lost all power. I broke down on the Massachusetts Turnpike and need a new engine! I don't know whether it was my mistake to go to Jiffy Lube in the first place. Was I wrong to trust them to diagnose a temperature sensor error? Was I unreasonable in expecting them to say that they did not know what the problem was? Instead of getting my anti-freeze topped off, I drove away with false confidence and had to replace a $6,000 engine!! read more

When i first went there the woman told me 130 for synthetic oil change, she told me she would give a 30 dollar discount but refused to honor the 30 dollar discount and told me I had to pay 115. And then a man who works there called me and said he would do it for 100. So I said I would take the deal. I went there and said a man who work here called me and said he would do the oil change for an even 100 dollars and she said "who did you talk to?" I didn't remember the guys name, so she said she would give me no deals. The way she said it she was very rude and told me not to come back. I will not go back there. I will go elsewhere. The tech goes and comes with the "dooms day" talk that my car needs a transmission fluid flush... I haven't done INE so I know is due. But, I didn't really have the budget to pay for it... the kid acts like the car is gonna break as soon as I pull off and triggers my anxieties. I say, "I don't have enough money for all that, I can only afford the oil". He goes and says he is going to "talk to the manager" he comes back and says how much you got... I say "my capital is $180". He pretends he is negotiating with the manager, comes back and says "we will do it but give me some of that good weed you have there that's smells so good"... I'm shocked... not cuz he smelled the weed ( mass is legal recreational marijuana and I wasn't smoking in the car). What pissed me off was his approach like black mailing me for it... Then, unwillingly I act like I'm gonna give him some and went he has it in his hand he goes Like..."I'm not sure if we are going to be able to do the job for that amount"... I fucking flipped!!! I generally don't leave reviews. But I have to say I needed some headlight restoration to get my car inspected. I went to Jiffy Lube on the recommendation of the place I had brought my car. I was told to speak to Kyle and he did an absolutely amazing job on my headlights I am in awe. It was a very quick and inexpensive visit..And I was able to get my car inspected. Also want to acknowledge Becka who was so wonderful in helping me navigate this. You guys are amazing and I am so thrilled with the speed and efficiency there. Worst customer service I've ever experienced... anywhere. I am aware that I need my filters changed, that doesn't mean I can afford it. Upon being informed that I would NOT be changing my filters, the tech proceeded to bang the filters onto the floor on the passenger side of my car. There is now animal feces and fur in my car. During this covid-19 pandemic my car oil needed changing, reluctantly due to the mask wearing, sterile area and contact points Jiffy lube seem like the last place I wanted to attend in person. However due to my surprise the Jiffy Lube on 2017 Memorial Drive, Chicopee, Ma. was Amazing!!!! I was greeted by a truly person's person by the name of Kyle, he was professional, polite & very understanding. Kyle took time to explain the process & touch on key points along with personal car advice he shared. Its great to see a young man who is knowledgeable about his job and talks to you not at you. In March 2018 I got an oil change. Later, I noticed an oil leak. My mechanic (I didn't go back to Jiffy Lube) said there were bits of foreign matter interfering with the oil filter seal to the engine. In other words, Jiffy Lube didn't bother inspecting/cleaning this interface between the filter and the engine. I stayed away from Jiffy Lube for a while, but I returned in April 2019. When the car was returned to me, ready to drive away, I noticed that the glove compartment was open and the new cabin air filter I had agreed to have replaced was sitting on the floor. They had forgotten to finish the job of installing it and had returned the car to me without even noticing. A few weeks later the car started to run roughly and the check engine light was on. My mechanic said that the engine air filter was missing (!) and the mass air sensor was damaged. Nothing under the hood had been touched since the oil change, so the only possibility is that Jiffy Lube forgot not only to put in the new cabin air filter, but the new engine air filter as well. Save yourself the mental breakdown and watch a youtube video and change your oil yourself. I had originally gone into Jiffy Lube with the information that they were going to try and tell me there are multiple things wrong with my car and that they could fix it for me on the spot and that I was strictly there for an oil change. Before they told me anything about the oil change the woman technician had essentially told me my entire radiator was going to melt and explode if I did not have her service it for $160! I had previously received an oil change at this location before and had gotten conventional oil. I had informed the technician that I wanted the oil that was already in my car. Without even asking me first, the technician put synthetic oil in my vehicle and informed me AFTERWARDS that my car only was supposed to take synthetic. They then tried to charge me almost $100 for the oil change, for the oil that wasn't even in my car to begin with! I asked to speak to the manager (kind of karen but I cannot afford a $100 oil change) and was then insulted for not taking proper care of my car and got ganged up on by three service technicians AND the manager and continued to argue with me back and forth. They also proceeded to insult me over the fact that I drove a Subaru and saying that this is what I get for driving a Subaru. DON'T COME HERE APPARENTLY IF YOU DRIVE A SUBARU!! There is no shot that I will ever receive any type of service from this location and probably Jiffy Lube as a whole. You can receive quality service from small autobody shops and save yourself the grief trying to deal with people who only care about scamming you into different services as well as being completely disrespectful, rude, and mocking of their customers. read more

Jiffy Lube is not really changing your oil.. Back when I was 16 years old I knew a kid who worked there he told me they never did.. Sometimes you would get it done, but other times they would just use the same filter.. People started to ask to see the old filter and they always had an extra one just in case. Jiffy Lube got nervous about 15 years ago when Dateline exposed them for doing this but I went there recently and seen the kids working there and I said to myself "yeah they are not really changing oil" You need no experience to work there. It's all 16 year old kids that just want to get out of there and go out and play playstation..They don't even have the lowest price in Chicopee anymore.. Unique has the lowest price for Oil Change you just got to wait a few days but who cares? You don't need your oil changed right away. If anyone tells you that it's a lie.. Just put new oil in ur car and it will be fine for a week.. I went 10 years with my car when I was 18 and NEVER got an oil change. The thing ran fine until someone smashed it... Service was quick, bathroom was clean & free bottle waters! $86.35 for a synthic oil change on a 2003 Chevy S-10 (does come w/ a free carwash to Golden Nozzle which is nearby).
