Stuck on I-90, we used our roadside assistance service to call for help, and they dispatched Hampshire Towing. Dispatcher Kayla did a great job keeping us informed about the arrival of Alex, the tow operator. Based on our situation, he did the best he could to help us out. Due to the distance from our home to their shop, we decided to transport the car to Pleasant Street Auto for repair. On Monday I spoke with Steven to discuss the situation, and he was very thorough and analytical as he listened to my story leading up to the car breakdown. The shop was able to repair the car Monday afternoon and I picked it up Tuesday morning. Considering we were in a bind and at their mercy, I feel that we were treated very fairly and not taken advantage of. Walking into the office to pay the bill, I could tell that they take an interest in the concerns of their customers - even offering a box of Girl Scout cookies as a "thank you"! Pages Automotive just replaced my 2017 Ford Edge 2.0L eigne because of a cracked block…read more Pages Automotive diagnosed a defect in the Ford EcoBoost engine that Ford dealers will not tell you about. Ford refuses to do a recall on these defective EcoBoost engines. The team at Pages was very informative and showed a great deal of technical knowledge. Replaced engine quickly with no problems. My 2017 Ford Edge with the 2.0L EcoBoost engine experience a cracked engine block, leading to coolant leaks, overheating, and engine misfires. This issue is tied to a known defect in the engine's design, where the block's sealing surface warps due to high heat from the turbocharger, allowing coolant to leak into the cylinder. The Ford dealers are not going to tell you this, and I put my faith in Pages as they diagnosed and replace the engine quickly and perfectly. Back on the road!
