nothing but slimey salesmen. I just got my car less than 6 months ago, I take it in for an oil change, and as usual they pull me out to the deck for their sales pitch. They explain that my break fluid needs to be changed and my fuel system needs to be fixed (didn't specify what exactly within the fuel system was faulty, just said it "needs to be fixed") and even went as far as to say "they can tell I haven't been taking care of my car." I opt for only the oil change but take it directly to Centreville Tire and Auto right around the corner (who I know to be stand up, honest mechanics) for a second opinion. Was informed not only were they lying about the repairs needed, but they missed an issue that actually DID need to be fixed - being my transmission fluid change was past due. It's clear they do not make recommendations with your best interest in mind, only with the interest of what will get them the highest commission. The only reason I came here was because due Centreville Tire and Auto's reputation, there is a high demand, so you may find yourself waiting a bit longer than normal -- however, I'm fine with the extra wait at this point. Lee restored my headlight covers today and wow took at least 10 years off my 20 year old truck! Their customer service and team work always far exceed my expectations. centreville jiffy lube is a total scam operation. they claimed to do a simple oil change on my bmw, but used wrong oil and a defactive oil filter. all which damaged my car and required expensive repairs at bmw. the manager refused to take responsibility per their " contract" even when seeing the bmw shop statement of damages due to their negligence. they use poor parts and oil and charge for what they call " the best materials". i have reported them to bbb the owners response is a total lie. my car was broken down on the road after their " oil change" and towed to bmw who confirmed it was all jiffy lubes issues that caused the damage to my car. they lied here as i showed them the bmw service centers " damage and repair costs " which they ignored and now lie when they state " they saw no damage". the manager even took a copy of the bmw damage. whoich stated a poor/off shoot and cheap oil filter and wrong oil. it is no surprise they refuse to honor their " warranty " as i went right to them after my damaged car was out of the bmw repairs. and they refused to do anything. bbb has the complaint, and i plabn on suing them and telling the public on all reviews they are a scam operation... read more

This is the first time and Centerville try and Jiffy Lube. Overall I was amazed I was in at 1:05 PM and out by 1:20 PM. The value on the oil change was fairly valued. They did try to get me to rotate my tires with no pressure I asked if they could do it next time, this is why I'm giving five stars because I was not pressured, but also given a chance to know what the issues were with my tires. I've been going to Virginia tire and auto for 30 years, if you're looking to save time and a little bit of money about $10, this place is worth the try. I had work done on my vehicle and have been going here for my oil changes. I love this place and feel that my car is in good hands. From Dre to Lee they are great people. I won't be getting any more oil changes done for both of my cars at this location. I had my oil change done for one of my cars yesterday and my car was reset and it showed the mileage before I left. However, this morning it was showing on my dashboard that my oil was at 15% so I took it back to them and the guy who worked there told me that it was not reset properly and that my oil is at 100% and he said he fixed it and he reassured me that I wouldn't see the 15% again. Well, he was wrong. Once again on my dashboard it's showing the 15%. Obviously they did something wrong and now I will take my car to the mechanic repair shop to be lifted so that the mechanic can tell me why it is that I am experiencing this problem. The 15% is supposed to disappear after my oil gets changed. And then I'm supposed to see it show up again after 3000 miles. I had never experienced this problem before until now. Due to this incident I won't take my cars to have their oil changed at this location. My car is not supposed to be at 15% oil after it's been changed. This message is not supposed to show up on my dashboard after it's been changed. This means that either they didn't change the oil on my car or they left something loose. I will get to the bottom of this by having it checked out by a certified mechanic. As of today I am no longer a customer at this Jiffy Lube location. read more

I have been going here for over a year now to have my oil changed. All employees have been kind and provide amazing service! Example:2 weeks ago I had my oil changed and wanted to get my tires rotated. My tire key was missing. I remained calm and spoke to the manager telling him how I only had my tires worked on here and I had it last time when they did it. He gave me a new tire key for my SUV, rotated my tires for free and even topped off my fluids without even me asking or advocating for it. The staff at this Jiffy Lube are hustlers , thieves and liars I will never go back there!!!!!! I went to get a brake fluid flush at this Jiffy Lube on March 27th around 230. Before I went to get the brake fluid flush I called down to the Jiffy Lube to get the price of the brake fluid flush and to make sure they could do it for my particular vehicle. I talked to the supervisor assigned on that day, Then I went to this Jiffy Lube. The supervisor told me over the phone that they did brake fluid flushes on my particular vehicle. Once the supervisor told me that I started driving to Jiffy Lube. When I got to the jiffy lube I spoke to the same supervisor. The supervisor then took my keys and told me they would do the brake fluid flush for me. Once the supervisor got my keys he then gave the keys to the mechanic that would be working on my car. The mechanic got my keys and then he started my car. The mechanic drove my car around the building. 10 to 15 minutes later the mechanic came back to me and told me I needed brakes. I told the mechanic I did not want to get my brakes done, The mechanic was persistent on trying show me how my brakes looked. Then I asked the mechanic to just do the brake fluid flush. Another 10 to 15 minutes had passed and the mechanic came back to me with an estimate for the brakes.!!!!! I then asked the mechanic did his supervisor tell him to do a brake fluid flush?, The mechanic conveyed to me his supervisor had told him to do the brake fluid flush. Another 30 minutes passed and I saw my car come out the garage. The mechanic had left my car door open and that was draining my battery. Since it had seemed that the job was finished Because of my car being pulled out the garage and my car door being opened , I then went outside to my car to shut the door. The supervisor for that day then lead me back inside to pay for the job and gave me a receipt. The next day so the 28 of March, I went to a mechanic friend to check my brakes. My mechanic friend expressed to me that I did not need my brakes done for maybe another 2 to 3 months. I then asked my mechanic friend to check the brake fluid to make sure the brake fluid flush had been done. My mechanic friend then expressed to me that the brake fluid flush had not been done. My mechanic friend expressed to me that he knew the brake fluid flush was not done without even looking though the whole engine by the coloration of the brake fluid. He then said the brake fluid looked like dirt. I then called iffy Lube and spoke to a supervisor named Darius it was a different supervisor from the previous day. Darius told me to come back to the Jiffy Lube so did. Once I got back to the Jiffy Lube on the 28th of March Darius looked at the brake fluid and then recommended me to someone else. I eventually got in contact with I'm guessing another supervisor his name was Michael. Michael wanted to see the car and test the brake fluid so I had to come back the next day March 29th. Once Michael the next day saw the car he tested the brake fluid to make sure it was brake fluid and then recommended me to someone else named Chad. I then talked to Chad over the phone. After I talked to Chad he told me that I could come back and get another brake fluid flush from them and he would give me a free oil change. The problem was the trust factor with me. All I wanted was my money back. Chad expressed to me getting my money back was very unreasonable and he would not recommend or tell anyone to give me my money back. So the next day March 30th I went to another one of my mechanic friends and got my brake fluid flush done the right way and this mechanic friend as well said the brake fluid was never changed. Shitty service for a shit ton of $. Save your $ and get your oil changed elsewhere. Stopped in for an oil change today. No line when I pulled up. I explained that I wanted to pull up my floor mats so that the floor would be vacuumed & that I just needed a minute to remove them & pick up some change that had fallen from my purse so that it wouldn't be vacuumed up. Less than 5 mins pass & 2 employees are bugging me & rushing me to finish despite there not being anyone in line behind me. Fine. Whatever...guess they're eager to change my oil. Fast forward 10-15 mins later...time to pay but this location doesn't accept the online $15 off coupon for synthetic oil change. Of course not! Soooo...I find $5 off coupon online that they do accept. Time to get in car & leave...oh...great...they didn't even bother to clean the exterior of the windows even though included in the $80 package. So...I asked about it...& was told that they had cleaned them...despite the windows they rolled down when taking my car from me still being rolled down, me being able to see fingerprints on the outside of the windows & the build up of pollen on the front windshield. They offered to clean them once I longed lut that they hadn't but honestly by that long I was done with them considering they rudely rushed me, don't accept jiffy lube website coupons, & didn't bother to clean my windows. I'm also suspicious that they didn't really vacuum considering there's still shit on my floor. It appears that they only vacuumed the quadrant that had a couple french fries within sight. Save yourself the obnoxious amount they charge for a job not completed or well done. If you're spending close to $100...might as well take it to the dealership & receive decent service and your windows will be washed & your floor will be vacuumed. It's no great wonder that there wasn't a line on a Sunday at noon in the NoVA area. Lesson learned...I will NOT be visiting this or any other jiffy line in this area in the future. read more

Frustrated that more air was being released, I drove over to jiffy lube and the gentleman there were so very kind to help me right away. After discovering that an incorrect oil filter used during my last oil change at this Jiffy Lube on Lee Hgwy, Centreville, I called them and spoke with Mike. Expecting a battle and staring at a $1200 bill from another garage, I was pleasantly surprised when Mike asked if I could get the car back to them, as they would look at it and make the repairs. Since they hadn't yet begun the work, Mike talked to the other mechanic and called me back; we picked up the car and brought it back to Centreville Jiffy Lube. They even paid for the diagnostic service before we had gotten there! It turned out that the damage wasn't as extensive as they had feared, and we ended up with the proper oil filter and a commitment to take another look at it in 500 miles from Mike, to be sure that the issue was resolved! I went here for an oil change and transmission fluid service a couple weeks ago. I called ahead to check prices, and Jiffy Lube was significantly cheaper than other local service shops for the transmission "flush and fill" as they call it. They were also open on Sunday, which seems to be rather rare among auto repair joints. I've used Jiffy Lubes in the past, when I lived in Maryland, and they generally left me quite dissatisfied. In addition to all the horror stories I've heard about them forgetting to put the cap back on the radiator, or torquing the oil filler cap down so hard it cracked, I'd decided to avoid them in general. But, after eight years or so, that price difference on the trans fluid made me give them another try, and I'm glad I did. I hadn't completely forgotten the reasons I hadn't been using Jiffy Lube, so I decided to hang out in the shop area to make sure they didn't "forget" to actually change the oil, for example. I was a little concerned when the guy I was talking to let the guy in the pit know only SLIGHTLY discreetly that "the owner's out here." Hopefully it was just to make sure he watched his language, and not to make sure he didn't steal my catalytic converter -- I'll never know. All I know is that he DID say it, and I stuck around by the car, and in the end they treated me just fine. They gave me the usual up-sell jabs -- I'd already intended to go for the premium oil -- and didn't try to sell me anything I knew I didn't need. The stuff the DID try to sell me, I could use, but it wasn't necessary just yet, and they took my "no thanks" just fine. The time was very reasonable. I was there on a Sunday afternoon, with a couple cars ahead of me. Mine was getting her undercarriage tickled within about fifteen minutes. The trans fluid took a lot longer than I imagined, but I was still out of there in less than 90 minutes. Definitely not too bad. Overall, they've restored my faith in Jiffy Lube. The price was the best I could find, the up-selling was far from onerous, they treated me well, and finished in a reasonable amount of time. What more can you ask for? read more

Dear Jiffy Lube. It only takes one time. You get one time to make a first impression. One time to make a customer happy and they will talk to all their friends about their wonderful experience. And one time to mess up and all trust and confidence is lost. I've heard about the horrible stories. I'm sure everyone has them. But it's different when it happens to me. My wonderful experience that started off with 4 stars quickly diminished to a negative one star when you forgot to put all of my quarts of oil in my faithful and loving car. I trusted you with her. I paid for synthetic high grade mobile oil so that she would take care of me. And then she started making noises immediately after I got my oil changed and so I took her into the dealership only to realize that she was missing two quarts of oil. How do you forget to put two quarts of oil in a car? You only put half of the required amount of oil in my car. Did you not pull out the appropriate bottles before you started? Did you not have all the 4.5 quarts and bottles open when you got done? Isn't there some sort of check list or procedures and training that you use to teach all employees so there is a simple check to ensure all the oil gets put into each car correctly? Cheese and Rice Jiffy Lube, how hard it is to count to 4.5? At least count to 4. That's still using one hand! read more
