Took it in to a mechanic and learned the oil plug was loose and the oil filter was misaligned. My car had leaked 1.5 quarts of oil in less than 2 months. I would expect something as routine as an oil change to be completed without errors. Unfortunately I would not trust them with any further vehicle care. **Update in response to comment** There were signs of fluid leak early -- I have a drain in garage but also thought it was A/C condensation mixed with garage dirt and never investigated further until another person pointed it out to me. The dealership fixed the issue free of charge and I believe their assessment was valid.
