I already had the part and the screws, and the team was happy to help. From the moment I arrived, the staff was friendly and guided me right into the service bay. One thing that really impressed me was that you can watch the technicians working underneath your vehicle on a monitor the entire time. They also use service pits instead of lifting the car, so you simply drive in, they complete the work, and you drive right out. It made the whole process quick and convenient. The shop was clean, professional, and efficient. To top it all off, they installed my part free of charge. I was so appreciative of their kindness and excellent customer service that I happily left a tip. A special thank you to Walter, the assistant manager, for taking great care of me. I have a 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe that wasn't too doing well in the scorching summer heat and sure enough, one day the battery dies. I gave it a quick jump, rode it around the block a few times, no problems. The next day? Dead again! Argh! I was able to get it towed using AAA and decided on Meineke. I am so glad I did. From the moment I picked up the phone and called their office, to the moment I picked up the keys and drove my car off the lot, Chris' friendly attitude kept me at ease. He took the car in, listened to my concerns, ran a diagnostic test to figure out the problem, worked on it right away and confirmed that the battery needed to be replaced. He also made sure to call and update me. I was so relieved; the service came just under $300 for a new battery, 2-year warranty, and service. Wow! Ready that same day. I'm really happy to know that my car is running smooth again, all thanks to Meineke. Thank you for the great service.

This review is in regard to services for the Maryland State safety inspection and specifically for…read moreelectronic cars. Simply put: Please find another location. I've had to inspect two cars in Maryland during my time living here and this experience was the worst. They don't value your time and the cost of simple repairs are ridiculous. The initial inspection was fine. They found two cosmetic issues with the car that I had to be fixed. Both on the exterior of the car. One, for example, was the rear wiper blade. So the car fails, which is understandable. If your vehicle happens to fail, please do your research and compare cost for ANY fixes. For example, my back windshield wiper failed because it "smudges a little". I found that debatable however I didn't push on the issue. They told me to replace it they would have to (1) order the part which would take a day or two to arrive, and (2) the cost was $25+. I found that same wiper blade at the local AutoZone for $12 right after I left. And for anyone with the front two windows tinted on their vehicle, for window tint removal, they charge $150 which is absurd and overpriced. As for respecting customers time, they do not. I called on Monday to verify that the inspector would be available on Tuesday morning to reinspect my vehicle. I was told he would be in and that my appointment would be at 8AM when they open. I arrive at 7:55 AM and check in for my appointment. Do you know that I sat in the waiting room for 40 minutes before they decided to tell me that the inspector would not be coming to work that day? I wasted 40 minutes of my time when I could have left and rescheduled. The reinspection was rescheduled for the following day, again at 8 AM. This time I called the front desk before arriving to ensure that the inspector was indeed at work. Not surprised, I was told the inspector was "on his way to work" and that he " lived very far." I digress... To reinspect two cosmetic changes on my car, I sat in the waiting room for over an hour. I had to go to the front desk to ask for status of my car before they finished 15 minutes later. I am thankful that my car successfully inspected. However, I would not return to this location.

I'm 72 years old and wanted him to check the car, so I could feel safe driving it. My major concern was a noise whenever I used the steering wheel. Even after paying a lot to my last mechanic last year to fix it. It ended up being nothing but a clamp that was the wrong size coming loose. They could have lied (like most places do) and charged me a lot. But they didn't. They did a few other repairs and my car hasn't run this great in years. Greg thank you for running a company that is trustworth, with excellent mechanics and very reasonably priced. Finally a place that I feel sure won't rip me off. And will deliver excellent service in every way. Job very well done!!!

It's not complicated, you just have to know what you're doing. I honestly printed the instructions out - and gave them a copy - and went over the process with a mechanic before handing the car over and everything went great. Review of Beamer Auto, Aaron Lane, Clinton MD I rarely write…read morereviews, and I especially dislike leaving negative ones, but auto repair is expensive, and it all comes down to trust. I've been taking my vehicles (BMW X5 and Mercedes E350) to Beamer Auto since 2022. Up until recently, they consistently provided good service at a fair price. Unfortunately, my last two experiences have completely changed my opinion. About 8 months ago, I brought in my X5. Communication was poor--I had to call several times just to get updates and an estimate. Since I trusted them from prior service, I gave them the benefit of the doubt and chalked it up to a bad day. This last visit today, with my E350, however, was unacceptable. I emailed in advance detailing the issues and received a confirmation for a 10 AM appointment on Thursday, September 18. When I arrived, the front desk person (Aaron) asked me to repeat everything instead of checking the email. I explained two issues: 1. The driver seat not returning fully upright (a sensor recalibration Beamer had fixed for me two years ago). 2. The passenger side headlight was flickering and going out intermittently. I was told I'd get a call with an estimate. Hours passed with no update. I called around 3:30 PM, no answer, and their voicemail was full. Eventually, they called me back but admitted they hadn't even looked at my car yet. Approx 4:30, I called again, because they close at 5:30. This time, Aaron said they wouldn't get to it that day but promised it would be checked first thing in the morning. The next day, still no call all morning. Frustrated, I drove 40 minutes back to the shop around 1 PM to pick up my vehicle. My car was sitting exactly where I left it. After waiting while Aaron looked at the computer and asking me the same question again about my car, I was told they couldn't fix the seat issue and that I'd need to go to the dealer (even though they had repaired the exact same problem less than two years ago). Then he incorrectly stated it was my driver-side headlight that was bad, when in fact it was the passenger side--the issue I had clearly outlined multiple times. Despite their lack of communication, inaccurate assessment, and the fact that my car hadn't moved, I was charged $158.75 for a diagnostic check. Based on my experience, I don't believe they even looked at the vehicle. After three years as a loyal customer, Beamer Auto has lost my trust and my business. If you're considering them, proceed with caution--buyer beware.
