Been coming here for over 20 years. Its changed hands a few times and I suppose the rising prices come with the times. But, I Came in for an oil change for my 2018 VW Atlas. quoted me starting at $99.95 on the phone" Said there would be an additional charge IF i need extra quart of oil. Before checking they handed me a bill for $149.00 . They charge me 11.99 for a quart of oil, plus tax and had the nerve to charge $2.99 for shop fees, which is total BS and a rip off. They removed my engine air filter and cabin filter and handed them to me after the oil discussion. They were very dirty but wanted to charge me $79.00 for a $16.00 Cabin filter. I forget the Engine air cost but it was a ridiculas up charge too. Drivers beware this place is now a complete rip!!! Oh to their credit they give the $15.00 off coupon. Which I had from their web site, and AAA. Never but their parts you can get on Amazon for a decent price and do it yourself. read more

I have been coming to this Jiffy Lube for over six years, and I hope to keep coming forever! After more than 20 oil changes, I have complete trust in the services at this location. They have always done a good job, been courteous, honest, and did not try to upsell. At times I've been lucky to get there when it was not crowded, and I was taken right away, and done in 20 minutes. Sometimes I've come when there was a long line, but the outdoor seating area is actually quite pleasant and has some nice picnic tables, trees, and flowers. The indoor waiting area is well-stocked with magazines and several daily newspapers, and has comfortable chairs. As a nice bonus, they have a free little coffee station, with better coffee than I have gotten in some restaurants. For real! read more

This will be the last time I go to this location. For the 2nd time in a row, my vehicle had scuff marks on the running boards from the technician's shoes, dirty fingerprints on the outside of my glove compartment and inside and outside my driver's side door. Items inside the glovebox were moved and one item was damaged and on the passenger floor of my vehicle. Upon getting my oil changed, I was told that the drain plug was not properly installed last time, causing my vehicle to leak oil. They said they were going to replace it. I only hope they did. Is having a clean interior and the job done right the first time, too much to ask? I won't be returning to this Jiffy Lube. read more

Had the oil changed on 2 vehicles over the past few weeks and both times the tires were over inflated and inconsistent. Jeep Grand Cherokee specs are 33 front/36 rear. Left front was 41, right front was 36, left rear was 41, right rear was 38. Similar situation with another vehicle serviced there. And both were checked with a tire guage when tires were cold. They did not reset the oil life in the car and recorded the mileage incorrectly. And to top it off, they charged $30.85 just for labor for a synthetic oil change; no other services were done. If they can't get the basics right, who's to say they used the correct oil?? read more

I am happy with the demeanor of the workers on staff, very kind and willing to please. Unfortunately the service has gone downhill. I've been going here since around 2001. Never felt this nervous about my car. On arrival 2 weeks ago, the first thing I mentioned is I need a washer blade on the driver side and my tire is always running out of air. After I leave and get halfway home I realize its still the same blade. Not a big deal, I wasn't charged. Then this morning having to fill my tire,yet again I notice my 2 front tires are missing the caps. I bring it back and now they notice I have a nail in my tire. I drive on 78 to get to Bayonne....I am rethinking the validity of their work, this wasn't the first time either. Once they put my tires on the wrong way on my other car. She made it very clear that she didn't want an oil change, and i wouldnt pay that much for one anyway. The worker came back down to earth when my daughter called me and I spoke to him. I was pretty impressed with the service that I received at this Jiffy Lube. I find the Jiffy Lube is pretty reliable across the board, it's an excellent franchise. I can tell them when they hire they don't just take the first candidate, the staff was polished and really seem to care. I trust that the system there has been worked/perfected enough that I know that the right amount of oil is going to go in my car, it's going to be the right grade and everything is going to be tightened/torqued the manufacturer's specifications. read more

I used to live in the area 8 years ago and this place was pretty quick. I came here yesterday and waited for 45 minutes and my car hadn't even been seen despite it not being that busy. I spoke to the lady working behind the desk and she said it would be another 30 minutes. I left because I had to go to work. 1hr 15 for a car to get seen for a simple oil change?? Inexcusable in my opinion. Same story today (slightly less of a wait time but still...) Fortunately I don't have to rush off to work so I'm slightly less annoyed. Bottom line, don't think it's going to be quick if there are 2 or more cars parked out back waiting to go in. Keep driving and go elsewhere read more

I came in for an oil change, the employees were very helpful and kind, but kind of felt like they were a little pushy with extra services and things that they felt I needed to get done! After declining further services they did not have a problem which was nice, I never had to fight with them about it. Would go back! read more

I got there an there were 7 cars ahead of me and i waited 1 1/2 hours to get my car done. Then there was a problem with the credit card machine and i had to wait more. the waiting area was dirty and the floor looked like it needed a serious cleaning. On the upside. the car was cleaner then when i went in so that was a plus. read more

Worst possible experience at Jiffy Lube today. First time customer. Brought in my Mini Cooper. I met the greeter and asked for an oil change and a tire rotation. I specified the rotation pattern and that I wanted full synthetic 5w30 motor oil, the kind specified in my owner's manual, and that I've been using for over 120,000 miles. When the tech came out to sell me on topping off my coolant reservoir ($5), he asked me if I wanted synthetic oil. Then he told me that he already filled it with synthetic 5w40. I asked why not the 5w30 that I'd specified. He said that's what his computer told him to do. I felt bad asking him to drain it, though I'd never heard if 5w40 before. So I left it and figured I'd switch back on my next service. The bill came to $97.98 before coupon. When I got back in the car, several items from inside my armrest compartment were on the carpet behind my seat. Odd that they would have any reason to open my armrest. When I was putting the items back in, I saw that the latch in the compartment was broken, with the plastic clasp having cracked off. I wrote it all up to a mistake having tried a new shop. Until I got home and found that my car is leaking oil from the oil pan plug. A lot of oil. I'll try to attach photos if Yelp allows it. So I paid almost $100 for a broken armrest and very little if the wrong oil as most of it seems to be on the road Breton the shop and my house. read more

Every time I go to this place it's an issue. They have nothing but incompetent people working there. They have broken parts off of my car. They tell you it's a 25 minute wait and 45 minutes later your car is not brought in yet. And the part that pisses me off the most is they don't even care that they've broken parts off your car or wasted your entire lunch break. Jiffy Lube VIP heaven!!!! I'm in love I was greeted at my window BY NAME (they typed in my license plate number as I was driving in). The waiting room has leather chairs and a coffee maker. The outdoors has a picnic table and umbrella for waiting on nice days. By far the best Jiffy Lube I have been to. They made my oil change a pleasant experience!!! read more

I was told all my fluids were checked and full every time I would spend $80+ on synthetic change. Never did they tell me my trans fluid couldn't be filled. This is my third visit to this Jiffy Lube and the most impressive of the 3. I was greeted cheerfully and was asked to verify what order my car arrived as many cars arrived at once. I was not pressured into ordering anything I didn't want, although I was glad they mentioned they now had high quality Pennzoil in 1 qt containers. Even though there was a big line up everyone was moving efficiently and smoothly. When my car got there they were unable to unhook the hood even though the latch had worked. There was no angst on their part, everyone was cool and eventually the mechanic unhooked it with a screwdriver. The oil change was done in a jiffy the level was double checked (not good to overfill the crankcase) and not only that but the mechanic unbound my hooking mechanism on the hood so now it works perfectly. I appreciate the professionalism, the smooth operation, the no hassle approach and the extra service provided. I'll certainly be back for the next oil change. read more

This location is the worst. Stay away. Too long of a wait. About an hour. Never used to be like this. The technicians were very slow. Chatting amongst themselves like they had all day and the shop manager walking around the back of the building talking on his cell phone. There is zero sense of urgency to get people out the door. If these were my employees they'd be fired. I'm guessing they are paid regardless of how much work is completed. They need to learn that people have better things to do than wait for them to get around to changing my oil. Time to find a new oil change place. I got an oil change yesterday at the Jiffy Lube location in Bridgewater, NJ, 08807. I brought my car to a mechanic today and I was informed my oil is completely black and was not changed. Not to mention I paid $80 for the services. I get an oil change every 2-3 months at Jiffy Lube because I travel far to and from work. I can't imagine how many other times my oil wasn't really changed! I'm very unhappy and will no longer continue being a loyal customer. I use to be a fan of this place until today. Went there to get a basic oil change and they started arguing with my wife and I about how we had the wrong oil in our car. They said the manufacturer recommends synthetic but they didn't understand that my car is basic and it doesn't need the extra service. They pretty much called us stupid. My wife's father actually owns a race car so she knows all about cars but the guy wasn't trying to hear that. I guess he doesn't like women telling him he is wrong. I was left completely speechless after my experience at the Jiffy Lube in Bridgewater, NJ. I went in for an oil change and everything was going fine. The mechanics were very friendly and very professional. However, they were having trouble opening the hood of my car and after approaching me about it, they kept trying to open it rather than saying they can't get it open and they unfortunately can't service my car. I witnessed them probing things and shoving things under the hood of my car and then they finally got it opened. Thirty minutes later and they FINALLY came to tell me that they were now having trouble closing the hood because the latch was broken. I told them what they were going to do about it and they said they were going to tie my hood down and then send me on my way. I asked when I could come back to have them fix the latch since I fully believe it was their fault that it now wouldn't close and they said that this was not their fault, was a "preexisting problem" and they would not fix it because they did not have the tools. I told them that I expected them to at least cover the mechanic bill for whatever place I sent to have my car fixed and they told me they would not since it was a "preexisting problem". I asked them how it was "preexisting" because if it was a "preexisting problem", the hood would always be open and would fly open whenever I drove. They all looked at each other like a group of deer in headlights and told me they couldn't (or better yet, WOULDN'T help me). My mom and stepdad came to this Jiffy Lube and my stepdad drove my car home that night because he would be able to tie it up again incase it opened while driving home. I got the name and phone number of the manager and tried reaching him for days until they finally told me he was there. When I spoke to him on the phone, he was already 100% convinced that this wasn't his problem and wouldn't even listen to what I had to say. What happened to treating the customer with respect and listening to what they had to tell you about the service of your business? He told me to come the following week so he could take a look at it. That night, my stepdad had his friend fix my car and I did not go see the manager or call him to tell him that I would not be going. Considering he knew how upset my family and I were about this situation, you would think he would call to see what happened when I did not show up on our scheduled day and time. Instead, he did not and I have not heard back since. This shows that to this Jiffy Lube, I am nothing more than an easy $40 since yes, they STILL CHARGED ME FULL PRICE, after this horrible situation. The owner is horrible and clearly doesn't care about his customers. Definitely won't be going back ever again and hope others don't either read more

I usually go to the dealer to get my oil changed but everytime I go there they give me a ridiculous laundry list of things that need to be done. Yesterday when I needed an oil change and didn't feel like dealing with Fullerton, I brought my Jeep to Jiffy Lube. I've never been there before. The first thing I noticed was there was someone in the parking lot to greet me when I pulled in. He told me where to park my car and asked me a few questions. I thought that was pretty cool. It seemed to move the process of all the cars checking in a little faster and more efficiently. There was probably 5 or 6 people ahead of me. Yesterday was New Years Eve. The owner of the place came into the waiting area and wished us all a Happy New Year and thanked us for our business. Then I saw him walking around shaking the hands of all the mechanics and employees that worked there. I thought that was really nice. When my car was being serviced, a really friendly and professional guy named Carlos came and got me and brought me into the shop where he explained the pricing for my synthetic oil change and tire rotation. I told him some of things the dealer told me I needed such as new tires and control arms. I asked him if he mind taking a look at those things and giving me his opinion about them since he had to take the tires off anyway. He said sure, no problem. After a few minutes he came out and told me that my tires will need to be replaced soon but there's absolutely nothing wrong with my control arms and I had no reason to worry about that. My husband also looked at them a few weeks earlier and said the same thing, but it made me feel better to have someone else confirm that. I thought the prices were fair and I was in and out of there in 25 minutes on a holiday. I really have nothing at all negative to say about my experience here. I was not treated like an idiot for being a female like I have at other places. I will definitely be returning here for future services. I highly recommend this place and especially recommend Carlos if you're lucky enough to get him. read more
