OMG! What a huge difference in the service! I have been coming here for years and though the service wasn't terrible this is a whole new level! The communication with me and the team made me feel like everything was being inspected for safety and continued operations - I don't write reviews usually but this was outstanding experience. read more

Pulled in and waited my turn like everyone else. There were three lanes, and I clearly arrived before another customer who pulled in after me. When it came time to move forward, the employee took her first instead. I politely spoke up, explained I'd been there longer and was on a time crunch. The employee shrugged it off, said it was "hard to tell," and let the other customer--who refused to back up and was openly rude--go ahead anyway. Instead of managing the situation professionally or fairly, they rewarded bad behavior and ignored a customer who was being respectful. If you value basic organization, fairness, or even minimal customer service, I'd suggest going somewhere else. read more

Went in to get the oil changed in my 2013 Smart. Less than 50 miles of driving later, found that the engine was struggling and the check engine light came on. Went back to this location and they scanned the codes for me but it felt pretty obvious to me that they had overfilled the oil and it had pushed past the gaskets and fouled my plugs and wires. They managed to suck some of the oil out but the damage was done. Took me over $2K in work to fix. read more

So here's my honest opinion. I recently got some work done and I was driving around the greater area of Bellingham looking for a simple work. I needed a battery replaced. Now all these places couldn't replace my battery and Jiffy Lube was like they will take care of it. This is where the good service comes in handy. A new problem occurred, and they jump straight to it. I mean immediately, and when they couldn't figure it out, they didn't even charge me any time till about the end of the day when they had came to the conclusion with the problem was and they had gave me a quote. It was reasonable and got it fixed so not only that I get my battery replaced. I got a new starter which needed to be done anyways, so I was doubly taken care of when I was just driving around town being turned away by everybody who couldn't do a simple battery replacement! Honestly, these guys are very human and down earth and I think that's super respectable, coming from a black guy. If that carries any weight nowadays. read more

Definitely do not go here! Take your vehicle anywhere but here. I took my car here because I was pretty sure I needed a new serpentine belt, and they told me my belt was good, that I needed a new alternator and battery. I left after they gave me a quote for $1100.00 and took my car to another shop where they changed my belt, tested my battery and alternator and told me they were good. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE! They will try to scam you read more

Horrible customer service. Rude employees who can't answer simple questions. We backed out of the service because they couldn't answer our questions and we were not happy with the way we're were being talked to. As we drove off, we smelt a horrible smell, turns out they left the oil cap off. Would never go back. read more

Stay away! I had my oil changed and the oil filter was not screwed in tightly. My car started dripping and then all the oil spilled out. We did not realize due to the way it happened and how it looked that it was the oil. Concerned about driving it, we had our car towed and then looked at. $450 later they said the oil filter had not been screwed in tight enough and eventually all the oil drained out. When I spoke with the general manage he was very cold, dismissive and unconcerned. Said would file a claim with a third party. Asked how long before I heard. He said 1-2 days. After two weeks, I contacted the corporate office in Texas. They responded by saying reviewing. Then heard from a third party claims company. They asked for irrelevant information and photos. Unbelieveable!!! I will never go to another Jiffy Lube. The lack of professionalism, passing the buck, lack of concern for what could have happened to my car and the money I had to spend due to their mistake is appalling!! They would have continued to have a loyal customer if they would have looked at the documents, listened to me and looked at how many times I have had my oil changed with them, and handled the situation. Disgusted, frustrated, disappointed!! read more

These guys are absolutely amazing. Went to multiple places today to get a break/rotor change and these fellas were the only ones able to get me in and get the job done. I feel incredibly grateful to them since they were able to change my breaks and rotors all while dealing with an unpleasant customer. Thank you guys so much. Y'all really pulled in clutch today ;) read more

Is there such a things as negative stars? Avoid this place at all cost! Went there once and had a terrible customer service experience. Car smelled like burning oil afterwards and I could see they spilled oil all over the block. Went there again (don't ask me why) last week. Was told it would be "5 minutes." After 25 minutes of waiting I saw no one running around anymore and two cars, with people inside, in the bay with hoods open. Finally noticed the employees all gathered outside by the coffee kiosk across the parking lot. When I asked if we were going to get service one replied "most of us are on break right now" WTF??? The people in their cars in the bay looked very confused and I just left as did the four cars waiting behind me. The employees dress and look like bums. The manager is lost and confused and in no way inspires any confidence. Do not ever waste your time here. read more

Probably the worst place to get your oil changed at in bellingham, always messing things up on my car and never being thorough while working on it. And I overheard the manager even saying "i don't know how to f***in do this" And for the value your getting out of it you'd be better off going to oreilys and doing it yourself. If i could give this place a -5 stars i totally would. Again DO NOT GO HERE!!! read more

Although they performed a very quick oil change, I was somewhat disappointed by a service they no longer performed. They use to check your air filter, check your tire pressure and filled them to the correct psi if needed. They use to also clean your front windshield and vacuum the front of your car. I guess they do well in the main service we go there for. Upon checking out I asked about a military discount which I have always received at this location. I was told that they no longer have a military discount. read more

Excellent speedy service, no wait and everything explained extremely thoroughly. Entire crew happy to do their job and professional, all communicating well in shop on things that needed completing. Went in for an oil change, left with a seized engine. One employee lied to my face saying it was my starter. After numerous dead end calls they did replace the engine, only to find out they stripped out/lost bolts for the exhaust manifold. Also missing a cover inside the cab below the dash for some reason. Still waiting to be reimbursed for the 6 days left without a car i had to rent out of pocket. Check engine light came on after 2 1/2 weeks, they are only willing to secure bolts. Completely unacceptable and incompetent. read more

Awesome job, friendly people, fast service! I would definitely recommend them, and I will be returning!

I had my oil changed- and have been here numerous times in the past. This visit wasn't satisfactory. The two women working on my vehicle were unable to re-attach my skid plate and kept attempting to do so to the extent that I requested they stop as they were doing it incorrectly and I feared they would strip the bolts. A large puddle of oil was left on my hood/front driver side quarter panel- it should have been cleaned up. The woman who was the lead attendant was very rude and did not explain everything they had checked during the service. She gave the alternative to "come back and we can try again to put the skid plate back on"- seriously? No thanks I asked for a discount on the service because technically it wasn't completed- she said she could give me 5$ off of a service over 100$ in cost. I requested 10$ minimum- it should have just been free. I have not experienced this in the past- Maddox has done excellent work in the past. He showed up just as I was leaving and I asked him to talk to the two service attendants/women who did the work. I am willing to return but will not permit these two attendants to service my vehicle. read more

I had fluids checked today and changed the oil. The team was organized and very efficient. Like the Wood Brothers. They vacuumed the front floor and cleaned bird poop off the car. That was definitely appreciated. They always protect the steering wheel and other places they touch. We have a white car and I watch to make sure the paint does not get stained. They are pretty good about that. We use Jiffy Lube regularly. They have a record of each vehicle and mileage that can be accessed at any JL shop. Prices have been reasonable and service usually quick. I have never seen them just sitting around. read more

I took my vehicle here for a synthetic oil change in late December. This is my first time having someone other than my regular mechanic service my vehicle. I recently had to take my car to my mechanic to get an oil leak diagnosed. I was informed that the last person who changed my oil, which in this case was Jiffy Lube on W.Bakerview, didn't place the oil filter on properly which resulted in my car leaking oil. I highly recommend taking your vehicle to a more reputable place than this. AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE! read more

I love these Jiffy Lube guys. They have helped me with so many car issues, over the years. If they can't fix it or replace it, they know who can. Yesterday, I went in for a burned out headlight and was in and out of there in under three minutes. Jiffy Lube -- not just for oil changes! read more

Prompt, friendly and quality service! Nick was kind and helpful through the whole process, excellent team.

Followed covid rules and kept me in my car instead of sending me to the waiting room, it was cool I felt like a race car driver in the service pit with everyone running circles around my car. Quick and easy thanks! read more

We have spent 11 years and a lot of money at Bakerview and Hannegan Jiffy Lube. NEVER AGAIN! Customer Service at its lowest. We all know mistakes are made, but when an establishment tells you they can fix the problem and admitted they created the problem from an oil change 2 weeks prior. The guy then told us the cost of the repair. SERIOUSLY? We had returned from driving 1000 mile trip. Thank God we noticed a rather large oil spot. If we had not the situation most likely would have been much worse. read more

Don't go here. I went in with this oh they'll get me done right for my tune up. They did an oil change, "vacuuming", and antifreeze change. A week later my heater doesn't work, and I found out they didn't put the coolant back in. He was like "stupid European cars always have something wrong and it's always hard to fix them." Looking back I paid a little too much. Also my brother got his oil changed there a while ago and they didn't screw the lid right and his oil leaked everywhere so he almost died bc of the overheating in the middle of a trip. read more

Recently got my oil changed at Jiffy Lube #3306 2436 E Bakerview Rd, Bellingham, WA 98226. A few days after my service i got a call from my work telling me my car was leaking too much oil and to please remove it from the parking lot. Got home with the car and found that after it was warmed up the oil was a pretty constant drip from around the drain plug. Finally got the car jacked up high enough to crawl under it and found that the oil pan drain plug had not seated and the Technician wrote GAY on the the oil pan. Submitted a complaint and was told they could credit my oil change and that was all they would do. Don't use Jiffy Lube. They don't care about anything but your money. read more

If I could give them less for customer service I would. I pulled up with one car in the bay and one just going in. One of the guys came out and rudely said "45 minute wait". I asked why and he rudely said "well there's 2 cars that we are starting and they are 20 minutes each." Now that would make sense if there was only one guy working but there were 3! Needless to say...we left. It was less about the wait and more about his rudeness and the fact that he made it appear that as customers, we were bothering him. I'm sure there wasn't a manager on. read more

So it looks like my review was taken down so I'll try again :) I got my oil changed a little over three months ago and a week ago the oil light in my car comes on. I check it and there's barely any oil left in my car. I thought it was a bit pricey and I'm pretty sure they upcharged me (maybe because I'm a woman?). So not only did i overpay, they did not change the oil right because three months later and there's nearly no oil left in my car. When I called to let them know of the situation, they were extremely rude and did not apologize whatsoever. Definitely not going here again. read more

I was promptly greeted when I drove up to the bay and quickly escorted into the waiting room, but then I waited and waited and waited...and waited some more. The staff were friendly enough, but it took longer than expected for them to check me in. I actually had to flag someone down and ask if they could check me into the system. After all, you don't want to abandon your car and hand over your keys without getting some official paperwork that says you did so. Even though the waiting room is tidy and inviting with magazines, a movie playing G-rated flick Wreck-it-Ralph, and coffee; I chose to walk down the road to the taco truck to get a bite to eat. I confirmed that Jiffy Lube had my phone number, informed them where I was going, and asked them to call me if there were any problems and when the job was done. I never received a phone call (no news is good news, right?). My car was parked to the side when I returned indicating that the work was done. I stepped inside the office to pay my bill and get my keys. The staff went over the boiler plate checklist of things that had supposedly been done to my car like fluids topped, tire pressure filled, carpets vaccumed, etc. Unfortunately, when I got back in my car, I noticed the floorboards were still a mess (just as I had left them). I don't really expect Jiffy Lube to clean my car, but please don't tell me you have vaccumed the floorboards when you clearly have not. A mile down the road, my tire pressure light illuminates on my dashboard. I return the next day to inquire about it. The service representative tells me I have green caps on my tires which indicates my tires have been filled with nitrogen. Jiffy Lube uses regular air for their pumps, so he can't inflate my tires because it is apparently bad to mix air with nitrogen. Really? Then why did the agent tell me the day before that my tire pressure was topped? Jiffy Lube says my front, right tire is 10lbs too low. I need to go to Costco because they use nitrogen. As I depart Jiffy Lube, the dashboard light turns off, but I head to Costco anyway to verify there isn't anything seriously wrong with my tire. I find out from Costco that topping the tires with plain air is fine. A web search reveals the same thing. The Costco service agent was willing to check my pressure and he says all 4 tires are at the required 32 psi, leading me to wonder if the Jiffy Lube agent topped the tire with plain air anyway despite his objection to doing it. Hmm... All of these small annoyances add up making me wish I had taken my car elsewhere; somewhere where the mechanics actually do what they say they are going to do, and they actually have the proper knowledge to perform their job. Next time, I'll take my car elsewhere. read more
