Had my oil changed a week ago. Friendly service and fast work. My Engine light came on the next day. Took it in to read the code. The wrong oil weight was put into my car. I have to find another place now to remove the oil and refill. $123 dollars more out of my pocket. Really bummed. read more

We just stopped in to have our air checked on our tires. They guy told us $2 or we can go to 711 and pay 1.75. When did this become not part of the free top of services? I have used jiffy lube before and have never ever been told this. This have blown me away! Never using this location again. I even called other stores and this shocked them as well!! No one put our info in or anything. Then when we call to talk with someone. They get loud and hang up on us. All we did was ask a question. Even was going to get an oil change done. read more

WOW! 85 bucks for a basic oil change and they broke my hood prop rod. Both the dudes in there look completely miserable and could care less and will barely acknowledge you. The only words ZZ Top uttered to me was "eighty five" the end lol, don't be a complete fool and save yourself 35 bucks and go to Midas, or take your business somewhere else. read more

If I were one of the customers that was in line before me, maybe I would have given a 3-4 stars. Yes, they took my keys right away so I could wait inside. I had 3-4 people in front of me, so it was about an hour wait. (Which I wish they had informed me of). Either way, it was a decent experience until the end. My car accidentally got driven into the pit upon the end of the oil change, so I cannot recommend this place. When they tried to remove it from the pit, it fell again back into the pit. I'm sure it wasn't on purpose.... but still ... I only have one car :T I can say that the customer service was okay in that they didn't deny it & they agreed to pay for damages. They also didn't try to charge me for the oil change. But they didn't go above & beyond to try and ensure my customer satisfaction. read more

These folks are very unhappy employees. I went there once for safety inspection, they had no cars in the stall and told me it would be a three hour wait. Today I went for an oil change and the guy wanted to charge $45. There were two places across the street that was only charging $24.99. The employee said he was one of the managers and was very unpleasant. With a smile I said no thank you! Save yourself some time and don't go to these folks ! Wait was not very long, I went in for a high mileage oil change. They let me know about my radiator flush service being overdue, and I normally don't go for the up charge services, but the manager (didn't catch his name) explained why it was recommended and it's necessity. I had a $15 off coupon for the oil change, but he ended up giving me $20 off for the whole service. I walked out paying more than I initially though to do, but after a quick look it was a better deal than other places I'd checked. Carlos was the tech who performed most of the services and did a quick and thorough job. Another tech came by and gave me some recommendations to do before my next service that I could easily do in my own which was appreciated. Really got a sense they were looking out for me, not just suggesting services that might not be necessary. read more

Came in Sunday 40 minutes before closing and had to wait 10 minutes before I finally stepped out of the vehicle and tried the office. A person finally acknowledged and rudely informed me that they were already closed (the signs clearly indicates closed at six). Put a sign up or say something so I don't have to wait :( read more

The guy that greeted me was very friendly and courteous! I was blown away with how nice he was but he turned out to be a scammer. He greeted me looked under my hood then tried to sell me the highest oil he could. I told him no several times and even told him the type of oil that I wanted and how much the price typically is at other jiffy lubes. He was persistent so I told him to give me my keys and left! Always had my oil change done at the Jiffy Lube on William Cannon (between 1st and Manchaca) and never had any issues. That's the reason I came to this Jiffy Lube since moving to North Austin. Have gone twice in the last two weeks and haven't gotten an oil change done! First time I went, I always wanted my inspection sticker - they told me that the stickers were lock and they couldn't get to them and that they were overwhelmed so my oil change would take a long time. They advised me to go to the Jiffy Lube on Ohlen. Second time I went, there was nobody in line so they took my keys, I went inside and waited for about ten minutes before they came and told me they didn't have a tool that was needed to complete my oil change. Ugh! I'm so disappointed and sad that I won't be going to any more Jiffy Lubes because of this one location. I drive a Ford Escape. Think twice about going here for a routine oil change. read more

HORRIBLE SERVICE, not only will the Manager ask you to park your car and he will be right with you and then suddenly disappear later to find out he was on his lunch break. The service employees will over charge you and then disrespect you when all you want is a answer as to why a 89.99 oil change with a 15$ coupon came out to 84$. After speaking with a much more pleasant manager, Kieth, from the Burnet and 183 location, I find out I was overcharged. Please take your car to any other Jiffy Lube except this one. They didn't even vacuum or clean any of the windows, but they want to chrge you for a window cleaning fee, pfft please. I hope they at least they topped off the fluids in my car. I love Jiffy Lube and the service they offer and reliability as I have been a customer for over 5 years, but this location should be closed. 0 stars read more

Got my oil changed there and they did not tighten the screw that holds in the oil and I had a major oil leak.

I am very disappointed in the service of Jiffy Lube. I bought my son a 2001 Honda Accord earlier this year. My son drove his vehicle into Jiffy Lube on North Lamar for an oil change as regular maintenance. He was convinced by a worker that he should get a Transmission fluid change as well. Once Jiffy Lube completed the servicing of my son's vehicle, it would no longer go into drive. His vehicle was unable to leave the Jiffy Lube facility. I complained to the manager and he contacted his area manager. I was told to take the vehicle to a mechanic and an appraiser from Jiffy Lube would come out and inspect the vehicle. The mechanic was unable to determine if the vehicle was no longer going into drive as a result of what Jiffy Lube did because they were not present when the repair took place to see what was actually done. The appraiser from Jiffy Lube came out and said the vehicle was not well maintained and the transmission went out as a result. He said Jiffy Lube was not at fault and they would not be assisting with any of the repairs. The vehicle has now been repaired. The transmission was not bad as the appraiser stated. The correct diagnosis was when Jiffy Lube serviced the vehicle, they came in contact with some wiring for the transmission relay. The relay and wiring was replaced and the vehicle runs fine now. Not only did Jiffy Lube damage the wiring and refuse to fix it; they misdiagnosed the vehicle as well. After paying for the vehicle to be towed along with the cost of parts and labor for the repairs; we have spent over $500 (in addition to the $236 bill paid for the services). We have six vehicles and never again will I let my family choose Jiffy Lube. read more

I will tell you about my experience here. When I first pull in there is a younger gentlemen who comes up to my car and ask me what I needed today. I informed him that I would like an inspection so he yells to another guy who is working under a car mind you it is the only car there and asks him are we doing inspections today and the guy rudely yells out "NO". So I say okay well do you know of another Jiffy Lube I can get one? The rude guy yells out 7/11, and the younger gentlemen deciphers what he says, "I think there is one by a 7/11, I am not too familiar with this place and then walks away. This place is garbage. If they have any other customers besides family I would be surprised. read more

Silver tongue these guys. Sure, they will treat you like a queen until you express dissatisfaction with their service. Of course they try to upcharge a radiator flush but they have to do that with every car. They were training a rookie on my car. Two weeks after getting an oil change from them my maintenance light comes on. I looked under the hood to find my dipstick backwards and sticking out. I needed to take my car to a mechanic for other issues and had them check my oil. It was overfilled. Not only that, they overtightened my oil filter causing the gasket to pop out, leaking oil all over the underside of my engine. Even with that leak it was still overfilled and because I did not take it back to them to assess they have no intention of paying me back. I could not continue to drive my overfilled car and had the oil changed at my mechanics'. Instead of talking to my mechanic or looking at the evidence they simply refuse to compensate because I would not take it back to them. Ask me for pics. On my first call back to them on the issue they immediately dismissed my claim stating "Oh, we would never do that." and proceeded to talk to me like I was an idiot which immediately dropped all my trust in them. Like I said there was a rookie training on my car and he obviously didn't check his work. Driving my car over filled was already risking more damage to my engine. As if I would take it back to someone who lost all my trust and allow them back under my hood. All I wanted was my money back, and even with my Favor discount totaled about $75.00. That is the most I ever paid for an oil change. No real discount. read more

Went in to have tire pressure checked asked about tire pressure and manager told me 2 dollar charge or go to 7 11 down st, took me by suprise as from what i remember that is part of free top off policy,so i call back to ask for district mgrs info and am refused his email and telephone number and am hung up on. Is it just me or is this customer service now a days the mgr was downright rude to refuse me any info as i am a paying customer i expect this to be resoved in a timely manner. read more

this place has not been the same since mike left .the new manager was rude and insisted i upgrade my oil because my car was "old" . ive heard every sales pitch out there so i played along , my total added up to $89.00 ! none of my fluids where checked and there is now oil on my drive way .i will seek a real mechanic to fix theyr mess up ,and fox7 to investigate why my 2008 honda needed an engine flush when the dealership told me honda did not recomend the service that was performed .3 stars for fast service read more
