    Pork fried rice

I was craving some Chinese food so we made it to go order. Everything was made quickly and fresh to order. I was impressed with the portion sizes. Flavor wise it was OK. Good enough that we would order again, but not remarkable enough to go out of our way to do so.

    Hair in the food!

Found a hair in my food... yikes. (And I know for sure it's not mine because I have a different texture) It was sticking to a broccoli. It's really too bad--I've gone here before for a couple years and never had any complaints. But this does it for me. Beware of the food you receive from Jia Yuan!!

We decided to try this place on a whim and were very happy we made that choice today. It seems to be a family run business, since the only staff was a mom dad son and daughter. We're happy to support family owned businesses and this will be our go to spot for Chinese now. The hunan beef was juicy and tender, almost like biting into butter. Rice portions were fair, and the egg drop soup was warm and savory. The only small thing that we didn't like, was that the orange chicken dish had too much orange. The orange peels were too thick, making the dish bitter once bitten into. Great food, great prices, and speedy service. We will come back 100%.

Kung Pao Chicken was really good. It could be spicier, but that's just me. If you go in the winter keep your coat on, i dont think there is heat. Also no buffet like advertised. The buffet is storage.

Kids are decorates the wall. Pretty cool.

Good food but the place is filthy inside. Egg rolls are always so greasy but everything I have ever had there is good. And fast prep.

They will let you try samples in store if you ask. I recently tried their new summer menu and while the picnic burger was delicious, I expected it to be a bit larger for the price (it was on a slider bun). The Hawaiian mac salad was tasty, but was a little heavy handed on the red onion for my own personal preference. I will for sure be trying some other things on their picnic menu, but honestly looking forward to the fall hoping that they will switch back to their regular menu with soup and grilled cheese. I support whatever helps them stay open since I assume soup isn't the most popular option come July and heat waves!

Their menu includes 10+ different soups each day, as well as several sandwiches and some salads. I ordered the garage sale: white cheddar, fresh mozz, rosemary goat mousse, havarti, and swiss on challah. I also got the steak and mushroom soup and the snert soup for Nate. When I arrived my order was waiting for me - it was nicely packaged and secure so everything was safely contained for my short drive home. The sandwich wasn't very melty, I ended up heating it up in a pan myself which helped. It was super tasty, though! I love the combination of cheeses. The steak and mushroom soup was really good, with chunks of meat in a creamy broth. The snert soup was very salty! The menu description indicated the snert soup should have sausage or kielbasa in it, but we didn't notice any. The restaurant itself is pretty small with limited seating, but I'd probably just order there next time. You can also get samples.

I adore crab so ordering that was a no brainer. Their coffee is strong. It took a ton of cream to change the color... though it was delicious with free refills for $5. The omelette was heaven. All the flavors melded well and I appreciated the crisp acidic salad to cut the richness of the omelette. My only critique is wishing the crab salad topping was a bit more decadent. For $21 I was hoping for big lumps of crab rather than cool shredded mayo based salad. All in all, I love this place, I love the concept. It was quite busy and was thankful to snag a seat at the bar. We stopped for lunch slightly after the lunch rush and still found a crowded restaurant. We were seated quickly and despite being pretty busy, our server was great and the kitchen was as well because our wait for food once ordered was minimal. We ordered Gyoza, Bao, Spicy tuna rolls and Big Shrimp Tempura rolls. 1. Gyoza-fantastic. Pan fried just enough to bring out the flavor of the ingredients and wrapper. Most places overcook gyoza and while still decent, are not nearly as good as these were. 2. Bao. Once I tried these out of town I was hooked. Have-not seen them one any menu until I came here. We ordered pork and it was perfect. 3. Spicy Tuna Rolls-slight disappointment. The tuna is ground up and mixed with the spices to make it spicy. I would not order this again. After talking to your server, she said I could oder traditional tuna rolls and have the spices applied externally rather than mixed up in a ground up fashion. Perhaps I will order this way next time but there is so many other dishes that need to be tried. 4. Big Shrimp Tempura. Wonderful. Great flavors I looked at other tables and Bento Boxes, ramen dishes and hibachi items looked really, really good and need to be explored as well. I'm predicting we will become regulars here.
