I went to lunch there today and split a couple of dishes w/my buddy. We ordered the following dishes * Butter Chicken - Excellent maybe the best butter chicken I ever tried. Tender chicken w/a rich red sauce & a plate of rice w/cilantro. * Non Vegetarian Lunch Combo - chunks of crispy chicken w/rice & cilantro. This also came w/a small bowl of chicken chetinaad (excellent), a small bowl of yogurt, small sweet ball dripping in sweet sauce * Hot fresh Garlic Naan Overall this was an excellent lunch w/excellent food & service. This is the best meal I've had in a long time & I will definitely be back again.

The restaurant has a lovely, cozy feel with welcoming decor that is unlike most Indian restaurants I've visited over the year. My food choices have been vegetarian and my dining partners have opted for meat-based dishes. All have been delicious. The samosa chaat is especially good! The naan bread is huge! A nice bonus is BYOB with no corkage fee. The restaurant is tucked away in a small shopping plaza across from the Glenview METRA station and library so it is not as visible as some of the larger restaurants in Glenview. Hoping this little gem will stick around for a long time and we look forward to supporting them!

And their service was good but the food was just okay. We got: Garlic Naan: 7/10 they only sell it per piece and it's $5 each and you can get it cut up like we did. We would prefer a bread bowl where we had an assortment instead. Samosas: 6/10 good I wish the chutney had more of a kick spice wise. Butter chicken: 7/10 basic and simple item pretty standard. Palak Paneer: 6.5/10 standard item but felt like it was missing some spices that other spots have to deepen the flavors. When I was there we asked if the entrees came with basmati rice or some sort of carbs or if we had to order and were told we would have to order it so we got the naan. Food was brought out with a bowl of basmati rice which was confusing. I think the Indian food was good if you're in town and don't want to travel further for Indian food but I would say other spots have better portions for a cheaper price. For the items we got and including tip it was around $60-70. Which is pretty high for small portions.

I went back today and was honestly so upset because my go-to dish, the paneer makhini, was nothing like it used to be. It literally just tasted like straight cream. I even asked them to remake it because I thought something was wrong, but it came out the same way. I ended up just eating the other food we ordered, but it was such a disappointment because this has always been the dish I look forward to. I even showed them old photos from past visits compared to today and it was clearly different. The chef tried it and said it was the same, which shocked me because it really wasn't. I get that places can have off days, but this was really discouraging. As much as I've loved this restaurant, I don't know if I'll be back if the quality has dropped this much.

Our order included: cocktail samosas, palak paneer, baigan bharta, and the chicken tikka masala. The meal comes with three naan and rice on the side, as well as a dessert. We went with the gulab jamun. I also wanted an order of soup momos, so we added that onto our already robust order as well. (They didn't disappoint, so delicious.) Everything was well-balanced and spiced. I especially love that we were able to split the portions across multiple meals given how generous the naan was. The most beloved item was definitely the momos in the spicy/sour soup, followed by the buttery naan dipped in chicken tikka masala. I also really enjoyed the baigan bharta. So very enjoyed this meal, and I can't wait to try some of the other menu items that other diners have recommended.

Earlier, I was little hesitant on how things were looking in the pictures and the food but when I went there, I saw that the restaurant are really cozy ambience. I was greeted by Juveria at the counter to place the order. She was very sweet and patient with me placing the order as I was asking a lot of questions. I even saw that with the previous customer as well that she was very kind and patient Since it was a takeout, I asked for plates, spoons forks, and she made sure everything was in my bag. The way she was working. It seemed to me that she was the owner of the place and when I asked that she said I am Just an employee. I told her the way she's working she is not JUST. The food was very good everybody liked I ordered paneer tikka masala Dal Tadka Fried Rice Garlic Naan Plain Naan I also asked her to put some onions and green chilies on the side, which she did. She also asked me if I would like to try Irani Chai - which I did and it was really really good Definitely going back to this place with the family

The dal was very hot and fresh, the samosa was also warm and the lamb seekh wrap was just room temp. I asked for mild spicy and I don't know if that's why the food lacked any spice and even the salt amount was low. The meat dishes including lamb kadahi and chicken off the grill arrived cold, like they were chilly almost frozen in the middle. I did not have access to a microwave so I. Like not heat them up. In comparison to other restaurants in the area I found the prices here better but the food taste and quality was really lacking. I'm always afraid to order out from places because I think they work a lot harder if you eat there in person. Perhaps this would have been a better plan. I spent closer to $100 for items not even heated thru with no taste .
