Also felt very safe as they buzz you in the front door and have plexiglass on top of all their display cases (Covid precautions). Once again, I didn't buy any jewelry from them. But I had them polish my platinum wedding band for an upcoming reception / photoshoot. The lady was friendly and told me the price upfront $10.80. She charged me $10 and it took them 5 minutes to make the ring shiny and appear new again. I know polishing platinum is prolly not a good thing repeatedly, but I plan on doing it just this one time. Anyways, I wouldn't hesitate to go to Kim Dao for all your jewelry needs.

She showed it to the jeweler, Mark, who was able to determine that the old clasp could be easily removed and replaced with a nearly identical clasp of the same sterling silver. He did the entire process in less than 5 minutes and the whole repair cost a very reasonable $10. This necklace has a great deal of sentimental value and I was thrilled to have it fixed with such speed and professionalism. I'll be sure to recommend Nulton to anyone who needs jewelry repaired. I had come in to receive a service, and he was huffing and puffing when he took a look at how much it was going to be and kept making comments about how it's going to be expensive with the amount of stones on my band. I had thanked him and explained to him that my family had been coming to this place for years to which he responded, "yeah but you didn't buy the ring from us". There were some other comments made, but I didn't process what had happened to me in the store until I got into my car. That's right, straight up junk. Thats just the beginning of my issues with them. Because they were only 300.00 dollars I opted out of buying their 100 dollar warranty. The manager at the store stated that they only honor the quality of their jewelry out to 60 days. Anything after that requires a purchased warranty. I received the same message from customer care after leaving the store. In the last 2 years I have spent between 6 and 7 thousand dollars at Kays, and another 13 thousand at one of their sister stores for an engagement ring. So around 20 thousand in jewelry and I am told that there is nothing they are willing to do to make right on these earrings that are falling apart. It is very apparent that their customer care and appreciation is nonexistent. I wish I would have known such, long before I spent 20,000. All I can do is share my story. Buyer beware!
