Also felt very safe as they buzz you in the front door and have plexiglass on top of all their display cases (Covid precautions). Once again, I didn't buy any jewelry from them. But I had them polish my platinum wedding band for an upcoming reception / photoshoot. The lady was friendly and told me the price upfront $10.80. She charged me $10 and it took them 5 minutes to make the ring shiny and appear new again. I know polishing platinum is prolly not a good thing repeatedly, but I plan on doing it just this one time. Anyways, I wouldn't hesitate to go to Kim Dao for all your jewelry needs.

It was a quiet Thursday afternoon and the cashier was able to meet with me right away to discuss my jewelry. She showed it to the jeweler, Mark, who was able to determine that the old clasp could be easily removed and replaced with a nearly identical clasp of the same sterling silver. He did the entire process in less than 5 minutes and the whole repair cost a very reasonable $10. This necklace has a great deal of sentimental value and I was thrilled to have it fixed with such speed and professionalism. I'll be sure to recommend Nulton to anyone who needs jewelry repaired. I had come in to receive a service, and he was huffing and puffing when he took a look at how much it was going to be and kept making comments about how it's going to be expensive with the amount of stones on my band. He offered me a discount, which I very much appreciated. I had thanked him and explained to him that my family had been coming to this place for years to which he responded, "yeah but you didn't buy the ring from us". There were some other comments made, but I didn't process what had happened to me in the store until I got into my car. After talking to my parents and friends, I realized this was not acceptable behavior. The other man that had walked up to me was very sweet, but my experience as a whole sucked.

The place is set back in a strip mall with plenty of parking. The store is small but cute. They have a handful of counters with jewelry. I have a Tiffany's bracelet that was engraved over a decade ago that had faded. The nice lady help me decided on the font of the bracelet. In the end I decided on a singular letter for the necklace. The pieces I brought in were small and dainty. I was called a week later when it was all done. The pieces came out beautifully. I am so happy with the results. It was only $15, so affordable. I highly recommend Trilliant Jewelers.
