Also felt very safe as they buzz you in the front door and have plexiglass on top of all their display cases (Covid precautions). Once again, I didn't buy any jewelry from them. But I had them polish my platinum wedding band for an upcoming reception / photoshoot. The lady was friendly and told me the price upfront $10.80. She charged me $10 and it took them 5 minutes to make the ring shiny and appear new again. I know polishing platinum is prolly not a good thing repeatedly, but I plan on doing it just this one time. Anyways, I wouldn't hesitate to go to Kim Dao for all your jewelry needs.

You do have to check in at the door, but we were greeted immediately. The showroom was pristine and well-lit. The saleslady was pleasant and took us to the Omega watch display case quickly. The watch looked amazing and we asked about pricing. We weren't expecting much of a discount for a new 2021 model watch. However they offered a $400 discount right off the bat. To be honest, I wasn't expecting Cornell's to be flexible with pricing at all. I ended up buying the watch from an online retailer a friend had good experience with (and also provided an ever bigger discount). However, I were to shop local and needed to see the exact watch in person, I would have gone back to Cornell's Jewelers.

It was a quiet Thursday afternoon and the cashier was able to meet with me right away to discuss my jewelry. She showed it to the jeweler, Mark, who was able to determine that the old clasp could be easily removed and replaced with a nearly identical clasp of the same sterling silver. He did the entire process in less than 5 minutes and the whole repair cost a very reasonable $10. This necklace has a great deal of sentimental value and I was thrilled to have it fixed with such speed and professionalism. I'll be sure to recommend Nulton to anyone who needs jewelry repaired. You see, my mom likes to shop and I hate it, but I always love going into this place and this is where I started my jewelry obsession. Located in Greece, Krikorian's has some of the best jewelry in Rochester. All the staff is friendly and they have little bowls of candy around...maybe that is why I have an extra sparkle in my eye when I am in there, or is it the diamonds? Krikorian's has an array of jewelry and watches. They even do repairs. The owner, Harry, is always there with a smile and is a master when it comes to creating and fixing jewelry. They have some of the finest ring settings I have seen and the most amazing estate jewelry. You can always find something to fit your budget, but the best thing about this place, aside from their fabulous pieces, you feel confident that you are buying quality and not being ripped off. With the holidays coming this is a great place to do some shopping. Oh and another plus, its right next to the Greece Pizza Stop, so have a slice after you shop!

When I walk into an AD for Omega, Grand Seiko, Cartier, or Tag Heuer, I have certain expectations for my AD. Unfortunately, Mann's Jewelers did not meet these expectations of going above and beyond. If you know what you like and do not enjoy outside input, it is perfectly fine to purchase your watch from here. But, in my opinion, half the fun of watch shopping is explaining your desires to your AD and watching as they find a piece that meets or even exceeds your expectations. Unless you are deeply attached to Tag or Accutron, I would highly recommend also stopping by Cornell's (which is nearby) to speak with their highly experienced and knowledgeable sales folk.
