Marcos is a shyster and a scammer. He tells you one price for your gold, then when it's time to pay, he pays less than he agreed. Absolutely NOT reputable. Also, the merchandise he sells has less gold than advertised. Stay away from this business. read more

Something very shady about this place. If you want to feel manipulated and forced to sell your valuables for less than they are worth then go here. I chose to walk out and I'm so glad I did as I visited a local store in my town that treated me fairly and with respect. read more

This is a family business. They have several locations run by the brothers. Seems like the youngest is a millennial who runs an on-line business as well as his own store. Also seems like there's room for negotiating since they are close to NYC and have an online presence. Yeah, the younger brother's sales tactics seem shady but I think it's just because he's eager. The other brothers & dad are at the jewelry exchange. They're toned down a bit. Good family. We trusted them and got an amazing deal. Definitely will be going back. read more

Marcus is a scammer. We bought not only my engagement band from him, but realizing after 3 weeks of wearing the engagement ring the band tarnished. I know that white gold tarnished over time, but 3 WEEKS?! No way! We went back to see what he would do for us TWICE, and both times he barely helped us. We found another jeweler who told us the truth, who took care of us, and actually had decent rhodium. thanks for nothing. read more

Purchased a claddagh ring through this company online, and it was STUNNING! Blew my expectations out of the water. Gorgeous design, very high quality, and a price that honestly couldn't be beat. I will definitely be shopping from here again in the future! read more

One day the price is this and the next day it is less and they want "what else you got?" Add these guys to the list of shady dealers. I had done pervious business with them but now no more. read more

I've purchased many pieces of jewelry from Gabriel for a few years now. Very honest and trustworthy. I have referred friends and family to them and they all come back with exceptional quality jewelry. Thanks! read more

Stay away from this Place. The son Marcus is very arrogant and rude. He is overly aggressive and does not think before he speaks. The father seemed more reasonable but when I was trying to seal the deal the son Marcus started talking to his father in a funny language and screwed up my sale with me and the father. There are better places out there. Reading Venice's comments she is 100% right the little Marcus is shady. read more

Bought our wedding bands from there and nothing but high quality. A+++

I went in to sell some of my spare 22k coins and could not get a straight answer regarding anything. I had 1/2 oz and 1/4 oz coins to sell for cash and for their scrap. I could not get a straight answer as so what todays gold value was, just a business owner repeatedly explaining to me that it was not pure gold, which is barely true because as we all know 22k is approx 90-95% pure gold. He seemed as if the 22k gold was not even worth 90% but offered me an amount approx. 40-50% of what todays value was per gram and almost seemed disinterested bc it was not scrap jewelry, as if the 14k, 18k, scrap jewelry gold, etc. had more value. Now we all do a little homework before selling anything as I did. I walked out with more than half of what I was interested in selling just due to the haggling and lack of straighforward answers. I couldve went to my local jeweler for a much better offer and the actual value of todays gold. After everything and their claims of "cash for gold" werent true when they first attempted to give me a check for the little bit i decided to sell, mind you I went to the store on a holiday very late in the day. Once I was ready to walk out even with the little I had decided to sell he then pulled out cash. All in all I got $600 (55% current scrap value) for 3/4 oz of 22k gold and walked out with much more that I had decided to not even show them or offer up for sale once I experienced this ordeal just for the first 2 I had showed them. I would not recommend at all if you want a good price for your gold without the haggle and lack of straightforward answers. read more

I purchased my engagement ring from them. After looking around for weeks, they had the most fair price. Highly recommended.

I do not recommend doing business with them. Stay away. There are many other businesses that will treat you with respect, honesty and integrity. This is not one of them read more

I needed help finding an oval diamond after another place let me down, and within two times of being there they found a few that blew the competition out of the water. Their prices were the best around as well. I walked away a month later with a fully custom ring (I was able to go in twice to refine it so it perfectly met my requirements) and a beautiful stone for my price range. The customer service couldn't have been better either. Lucy sent me emails along the way to answer my questions and give me status updates. Wonderful work! I will be returning in the future if we want to upgrade the ring or if I want to get my woman something for a special occasion. read more

SCAM ARTISTS / THIEVES! Stay away! I had 2 custom small pieces made by these crooks in 14K gold a few years ago when they were at another location by Jose Tejas restaurant. I don't wear the bracelet much anymore and decided to use these scam artists to give me the current gold price for scrap gold. Not realizing it's the same people who made me the bracelet since their location was new to me but I recognized them , i proceeded to listen to his price of $40 in house credit for my 1.5g bracelet . I asked why the price so low and he said because the chain part of your bracelet is 14K but the middle heart with the initials is 10K! I was floored! I said " don't you remember me...you made me this bracelet at your other location and charged me roughly $150-170 and its stamped 14k throughout the bracelet and now your saying the heart part on it is 10K but yet you charged me then as if it was all 14K?! He had the balls to say it was his manufacture who must have stamped it wrong! I took the credit and had a bracelet fixed that just had a broken chain and told him use the credit for the new chain that needs to be put on. I go to pick it up and he tried to charge me $30!!! I was livid ! I told him first off you screwed me the first time by selling /charging for jewelry stamped gold that's it's really not and technically you didn't even give me credit for the 14K white gold broken chain bracelet so we are even and your not getting a penny more!! I took the now repaired bracelet and walked out!! He threatened with the cops and I said call them if I don't first and I'll be waiting to talk to them! Of course no one has contacted me as of yet ! CROOKS! read more

I purchased a ring "customed designed" by this jeweler. I paid over $8000 for the ring . I was given an appraisal for $10800 for insurance purposes. This was all done in 2015 and my husband and I were very pleased. I was recently diagnosed with a terminal illness and as painful as it is to us we have no other choice then to sell the ring to pay for my medication. We went to the Woodbridge Jewelry Exchange to sell the ring we were so proud of only to be told it was not worth more than $2000. Every jeweler proceeded to tell us all the reasons it was not worth a penny more. Even after we showed them the appraisal paperwork. Keep in mind I knew I would not get what I paid for the ring but I certainly expected to be offered half of what I paid originally, at the very least. Every jeweler we spoke to told us the very same thing about "low quality" of the ring I paid over $8000 for and were at a loss as to how we were given an appraisal for $10800 for such a low quality ring. Let's not even get into the facts that I gave this appraisal to my home owners insurance company...... So is this illegal? Am I in trouble? Is this insurance fraud? We will see. None the less I am still holding faith in Jewelry by Marcus to be given a fair & decent purchase price (CASH NOT STORE CREDIT) when I go to see them tomorrow to sell this ring. I'm sure they will be more than fair with the offer they give me. In the event they don't at least I will have the opportunity to ask them to make sense of the offer they give in comparison to the other jewelers. Unfortunately my home owners insurance company are now requesting a written explanation as to why I gave them this document that has now been indicated it is fraudulent as to the true value of the ring. As I stated I am still standing strong and with full confidence Jewelry by Marcus will stand behind their pricing and appraisal. I have no other choice but to report their explanation and backup to their business tactics to all parties involved. I hope it is all good. Stay tuned .,,,,,,,, read more
