I was informed that I HAD FALLEN VICTIM TO A SIGNIFICANT SCAM. I was even told by a few other jewelers that I would have better luck trying to sell without the certificate since every jeweler knows that EGL rates diamonds 1 grade higher in cut AND clarity. Mark and Howard swiftly took my $13,000, and yet, they refuse to assist me in selling the ring, as doing so would require them to acknowledge the diamond's true quality. I strongly recommend shopping elsewhere to avoid experiencing a similar situation. Ask for a GIA certificate when you shop somewhere els.
