This Jewel has been a long time staple of the community, being a stable source of quality groceries though most other grocery stores within a few miles have switched over the years. The look of it has kept fairly up to date over the years and well as maintenance of the parking lot. In terms of prepared items (cakes, cut fruit, sandwiches, ready-to-cook, etc.) this location has some of the fresher fruits/vegetables that I've seen (in good sized packages as well) and the bakery is also in general consistent with an attractive looking selection of cakes, pies, muffins, and other seasonal items at a surprisingly reasonable price. The displays here are also maintained relatively nice with an overall clean and bright feeling to the entire store.

Flowers from Jewel

I am continually impressed with the variety and quality of the flowers available at this Jewel. I often make arrangements for various parties and events in my friend circle and this Jewel is my go-to for the best options. The floral team is always super helpful and willing to look in back for extra or unique variety that I might be looking for. While the price of the bunches have gone up recently, it still feels like a great deal, especially given the quality of flowers available.

I remember that I need to buy my groceries and it is a good thing that I was on the way home and I stopped by at the nearest grocery store and went here in Jewel. Quite a few people are only inside. The store is clean and bright. First thing I noticed is that most of their items are on sale that sounds nice. Jewel is a pricier than the others so the sales on every item is a good thing. Selections are organized. There are few items that are not on stock but on most items it is well-stocked. Everything that I needed is available. Most importantly, they have a huge selection of frozen pizza and I love pizza. It is easy and convenient each time I wanted to eat one. I was in the checkout and the staff is nice and friendly. Different but nice experience in the store and I just hope that this will continue.

Bagel? No...round bread.

The layout while antiquated looking is easy and "classic" retail. Don't change it if it ain't broke. Food selection is pretty good they have tons of import products as well the only place they are rather thin is on Kosher / Jewish tradition food. The store has otherwise competitive prices across all levels of grocery. Their fish prices are competitive with surrounding merchants. The only problem here is that the automated cash registers are down half of the time. Not a massive problem though because there are still plenty of manned registers and the staff are efficient and quick to do their jobs. I can't help but knock off a point for the irregular at best availability of the self serve registers. I'm all for jobs but at the same time I'd rather be able to clean the machine I'm using than interacting with a fleshbag carrying who knows what kind of cooties.

The deli is still good but no longer has the on site fresh made turkey breast and roast beef that Eurofresh used to have. I hope they keep more of the Italian specialty foods. They do have Polish pasta sauce. That may be interesting to try.

Eh, not bad, not bad at all. I'd score the trip today a 7 out of 10 or a upper 6's out of 10…read more 1. The store layout hasn't changed in ages, traffic flow through the store is finicky at best. I feel like an interior redesign is definitely coming due. 2. The sushi which is often what sticks in my craw for not being fresh was actually this time around fresh. They also had a conspicuously placed sign indicating to ask staff for assistance if fresh sushi is needed or the selection isn't what you desire. 3. The staff were very busy and in some areas seemed disorganized, I would like to see call buttons scattered throughout the store like Walgreens where people could have a call switch in each department to call for a departmental staff member or manager in the event of a need for assistance or in the event of a product spill etc. Nonetheless it was a far better experience than my past experiences. It seems that Kroger is waking up to the fact that they could easily lose the entire Mariano's chain if they don't take care of it well.

I'm not happy. Automation should be a part of every retail system. It's when automation takes over everything that it sucks. Aldi doesn't know the middle ground for them it's all or nothing with automation and they decided to go back to the 90s. I wouldn't be surprised if they ditch barcodes on items for manual pricing guns to 'save money' They cut corners everywhere and sometimes their food is also a corner that gets cut, its good food but sometimes the durability is terrible, items will spoil within a day or two. I've seen better durability from donated veggies at the food pantry than here. This store is like a costco warehouse but somehow they managed to make everything suck and enshittified Aldi. Seems like the enshittification of the internet is now enshittifying retail!
