Anthony was the DJ for our wedding earlier this month and we cannot rave enough about the job that he did. Leading up to the wedding Anthony kept things simple and gave us helpful cues to make sure he knew our music taste. On day of, the setup and technical aspect of the audio was stress free. Anthony was our DJ for our October wedding at the Boston Marriott Long Wharf. He was really easy to work with especially since we were planning our wedding from San Francisco. He helped us with our timeline and had great feedback on our playlist for the reception, dinner and dancing. He made me feel at ease, especially when the hotel told us last minute that he would only have an hr to set up before the reception, due to another wedding right before ours. He came early and made sure everything was done so there wasn't any issues. He also brought extra uplights, in case there wasn't enough provided by the hotel. Everything turned out great! I can only speak highly of JetSet Sounds! I recently got married and it was great to work with DJ Anthony. We had several meetings/phone calls/emails to go over the game plan for the wedding. He helped plan the timeline and his feedback based on his experience helped a lot. We went over pros and cons on certain timelines, music choices.. What's great about hiring JetSet is you get the package. Aside from being the DJ, he also handled our uplighting and was the emcee for introductions of the families and if you don't know.. Asian wedding introductions is a bit tough with all the pronunciations! I left the music choices to him.. giving him feedback on what we liked and what kind of vibe we wanted at what times.. it was GREAT!! The website provided to fill out information was incredibly easy to use and he was always available via text when I had random questions. Anthony and Mike C were the DJs for my wedding at Veronique Ballroom in Brookline and they were amazing. Anthony got the crowd all hyped up for the introductions, and was great on the mic the entire night. He has a way of saying "just enough" to get you excited about the next event but doesn't overdo it at all. I wanted a mix of Sinatra type music for dinner, which they did perfectly and then since they are club DJs, I knew that once the party got started, it would actually be a PARTY. Literally, everyone was on the dance floor, and Jetset Sounds is really the best in town when it comes to reading the crowd and knowing what they will want next. I even told them ahead of time that I wanted a few slow songs in the middle of the dancing set, and they were able to transition to those no problem. AMAZING. That's the only word to describe DJ Anthony. My wife and I fell in love with Anthony 3 years ago at a friends wedding. We were only dating at the time and jokingly said "he's perfect for our wedding." Fast forward a year to my best friends wedding and there was Anthony again. Anthony was incredible. We were worried our wedding wouldn't be the party we wanted it to be because of COVID, but the dancing started before people were even finished eating dinner. Our wedding was in my parents' backyard but all the logistics were taken care of with absolutely no stress. I attended a wedding a few years ago and had so much fun, that I was determined to hire the same DJ and snow balled from there. During our 1st meeting he knew exactly what questions to ask in order to get things done and ensure the event was memorable. He knew exactly when to play any given song and especially at what point in time, so it'd be powerful to the audience. I spent most of my time listening to our processional song in order to break down the exact moment in which I should walk down the aisle. Anthony figured everything out before I even had the chance to tell him. From that moment on, I was able to let go and allow Anthony do his job so that I could focus on other areas of the wedding. Finally, on our wedding day my family was in the process of putting up drapes and poles so that the room would look elegant and when Anthony saw that they were having trouble, he jumped right in to help- no questions asked. And when it came time to pay the wedding tab, there were questionable items that couldn't be resolved so Anthony jumped right in, to save the day again. As a DJ, the one thing that I admire most about Anthony is his ability to play music based off the crowd's reaction; by the end of the night it's like a mini club, but just at a wedding. Anthony met with me a few days before the wedding, which was so kind of him to do considering my crazy schedule planning a wedding from the other side of the country. He was absolutely wonderful and instantly could see exactly what I was looking for. Fast forward to the day of the wedding-- Anthony and Edwin were fabulous. Not only did they do my reception music, Anthony was the one who played the music that I walked down the aisle to. Everything at the ceremony was perfect! At the reception, they read the crowd better than I ever, ever could and got people dancing immediately. They played really well to our diverse crowd-- everyone seemed to either be over 50 or under 25 years of age, which could have been a hard crowd to cater to, but they played it perfectly. I had so so so much fun dancing at my wedding, and everyone else kept talking about how much fun it was, too. The afternoon started off with some slower music as it was a cocktail reception, and as soon as the crowd started thinking they may want to dance, the dancing music was on and the party was started! DJ Anthony was great to work with. He was one of the best communicators leading up to the wedding. He even did a site visit to our venue on Cape Cod in order to ensure the uplighting and sound system would work flawlessly on the day. We also used him to mic our officiant and to play music prior to the ceremony and during the cocktail hour. He accommodated all of our requests and he kept people on the dance floor all night. He read the crowd when we were running behind schedule and postponed the father/daughter and mother/son dances until later in the evening. Although some wedding websites caution against hiring "part-time" DJs, we felt that Anthony was professional, responsive and a good DJ with excellent equipment. I also suggest using him for your uplighting. He did a wonderful job at an excellent value. I urge you to consider DJ Anthony for your music and lighting needs! read more

DJ Anthony recently DJ'd my annual Halloween Party. This was the 12th year of the party, and Anthony took us to another level! He was very attentive, and had great suggestions in meetings we had prior to the party in discussing the types of music the crowd liked. The actual mixes he put together far exceeded my expectations, and the dance floor stayed packed until the end of the party. His up-lighting package however is what really put the party over the top! The different colors and effects added a vibe to the party we'd never had before. I hired Anthony as a DJ for my fathers 60th birthday party. I cannot express how satisfied we were with his music, MC-ing, lighting, and overall professionalism. For the event space, we wanted up-lighting around the room and were looking into separate lighting vendors. Jetset sounds provided bundled packages, which we decided to utilize. The up-lighting was high quality and exactly what we were looking for and we are able to save hundreds of dollars compared to hiring separate lighting vendors. Anthony did an amazing job mc'ing the night and keeping the older crowd engaged and happy. Obviously, my parents had a list of songs that they wanted (old classics) but they wanted Anthony to use his own judgment incorporating other songs to keep the night lively. Anthony did an amazing job mixing a modern twist to the classics that the crowd loved. I've worked in the entertainment industry a number of years and, frankly, hearing some of these new versions of old classics would hype up any environment for any age group. It's not easy to keep the 60+ crowd dancing all night; When the party was over, everyone was on the dance floor and didn't want to leave. I would highly recommend Anthony for any function. Anthony was recommended to us by our awesome wedding planner, like everything else she was completely right on how awesome he was. Our meetings were strictly over email since I live in NH but Anthony made me feel like he had known myself and soon to be husband for years.
