Ouch. Have enjoyed delicious pizzas and service at this location for many years. Unfortunately our most recent experience of salad and pizza was a miss. An unacceptable portion of the lettuce was too old to be served and the core of the onion included also revealing a lack of attention to detail. Today's pizza was barely okay. Lacked sufficient sauce, cheese and pepperoni. It appears that Jets is fighting the "pizza wars" by reducing quantity and quality of ingredients to keep prices down. The ambiance could dramatically be improved with care, concern and cleaning. The approach to the doorway is stained black from years of grease drippings and countless footprints. Not welcoming or inviting presently. This is no longer an Italian neighborhood. It looks like jets has given up here. Who knows? I've driven past another jets franchise because of this locations previous value add and superior quality. I wish this critical review and feedback was unnecessary and hope that redemption and restoration of quality is achievable. The Detroit style pizza was actually pretty good. The corners were crispy crunch and just awesome. The bottom has a little crispy compared to soft, which I loved. My kid prefers softer edges and less crunch. But hey, I generally go for the round pizza. read more

We have been getting pizza from here every friday for YEARS now, and generally any time we are getting pizza. We usually like to call in just so the pizza is ready by the time we get there, but even if you have to place the order in person, they're really quick so you aren't waiting too long! The waiting area is small, but there's a bench there so you can take a seat, or just go wait in the car which is fine. Pizza is great, we like to get the pineapple with jalapeño or red onion with green pepper and they're always nice with the toppings. We also always request that they use a clean knife when slicing the pizza, and they're always say yes without any hesitation or displeasure. read more

I like pizza, from the exotic to the ordinary. While Buddy's is in hailing distance and the nearby Joe Bologna's, makes a fine, classic pie, there's a lot to be said for Jets. This store is a better than average link in their chain (perhaps due to its proximity to corporate HQ). They get your orders right and make them fast. I also like their little touches; for example, they open your box to show you your pizza. The square veggie is my favorite: nice and crisp at the corners, savory vegetables on the top and appropriately-gooey cheese. This Jet's location has been my go-to pizza place whenever I'm in the area. They've (almost) always been consistent in terms of quality of food and quality of service. My last two visits were not so. This last go around, I walked in for a few slices and a salad for myself and a friend. After putting in my order, I paid and I waited. And waited. And waited. And waited. After two other walk-ins got their slices before I did, I had to ask what was up. These guys were so busy chatting amongst themselves that no one actually put in my order. I usually have great experiences with jets but while trying to place an order for one pizza with four toppings, it was asked to be repeated four times because he couldn't get it right. The toppings were confusing to him, pepperoni, black olives, mild peppers, and onions. Not sure why I confused him. I asked to speak to someone else and he said he'd get it right so I repeated it and he said it back to me. At first I was extremely excited because I finally got my order in but he continued talking about the the pizza sauce being changed to bbq sauce. Sauce was never a word I mentioned throughout my whole order. I didn't end up getting my order through after six minutes on the phone. Tip to this location: make sure you have people who pay attention to the callers rather than talk to the people beside them while I'm ordering. I give this jets only 2 stars. It would have only 1 but I find the staff to be friendly and the deliveries pretty quick. The problem is the pizza. Jets has gone so downhill with their product that it makes me sad. We order bold pepperoni now, which has SOME flavor, but not bold. The regular pepperoni is about as flavorful as paper. The cheese is cheap garbage most restaurants would throw away. They do not serve real bacon. It's frozen bits of bacon fat and gristle biproduct. They literally count every pepperoni. Double pepperoni here is about average to regular pepperoni at literally every other pizza chain. Save yourself, go to a pizza place that's more worried about pleasing the customer, and Less about pinching pennies for a greedy corporate office. read more

They have a Monday special for a large pizza with one topping for $7.99 right now- expires/ends on April 30, 2013. They deliver for this price also but do tack on a delivery fee- which I will NEVER quibble about. For under $11 I can get a pizza delivered to my door and I have never had but exception delivery time. When they say 30-45 minutes, they really mean, be ready in 20 minutes.
