Came on here to show some love and apparently I'm not alone! There's plenty of good local pizza around but sometimes it's out of my price range so I divert to a chain location. First time trying Petey's pizzeria and I am completely satisfied, Best antipasto salad I've ever had made with such love & such fresh ingredients....mozzarella balls, deliciously seasoned and with all the fixings. AMAZING!!!! I've been looking for some good pizza and saw the reviews for Petey's so I headed on over to Warren. We were running errands and were excited to find they have two booths. We ordered and chatted with the owner a bit. This place does mostly takeout since there's limited seating, so keep that in mind. Our garlic knots and pizza were everything I was looking for. There are also classic arcade games that you can play for free while you want. The owner is a great guy and has a ton of repeat regulars. I'm looking forward to going back and checking out more from the menu. Oh, get the ranch!! It's made in house and is top tier. read more

Wife and I have been looking for a good pizza place for a while now. Jet's is nothing like it used to be and Buddy's has gone down hill in my opinion too. Saw the reviews for Petey's and decided to give it a try. When we walked in Steve, the owner, was cordial and friendly. Talked to him about the pizza and he explained everything that I needed to know. Ordered a Meat Lover's with green peppers and mushrooms. It was very good! Pizza had lots of toppings on it, just as it shows in the pictures online. All in all, we were very happy with the taste of the pizza. It was really, really good. The owner, Steve seems to be a dedicated, and hardworking person. He takes pride in the food he serves and makes sure that it is up to his standards, as well as the customer. Ordered a salad, meatballs, garlic knots and wings. Wings - amazing. But the wings are not tossed in sauce but uou dip them, they are plain. FYI. The meatballs looked good but were way too salty for my wife and I. She ate one and I had to eat the rest with rice. It's better with rice. Salad meat also very salty, but that's just probably due to brand of deli meat. Haven't tried the pizza yet so I might update when I do. read more

I went to Petey's Pizzeria for the first time today. The guy who waited on me was super nice. I ordered a medium Hawaiian Pizza with pepperoni added to half. I wasn't really a fan of the sauce. The crust was excellent. My husband liked it. I also ordered the garlic knots but didn't care for them. I would say definitely give them a try. I'm gonna try their salads next. I'm pretty hard to please when it comes to pizza. It wasn't that bad, I just didn't care for the sauce that much. They have daily specials too! Looking forward to trying other things. read more

We were in the Detroit area for a baseball tournament and discovered this place on our next to the last night. After our last game my son couldn't wait to stop here again. While I haven't had a chance to try their pizza, I have to give all the stars to this place for their communication and helpfulness. We were scheduled to come into Warren with a large group. I called ahead to find out if they could accommodate our order and I have to say I have never had a more helpful experience than I did speaking with Petey's. They talked through our needs, suggested some things, gave clear information on when to order by, were willing to deliver a large order and helped us making decisions. In the end, weather canceled our visit, but because of the helpfulness, kindness, and excellent communication I would absolutely order here and encourage others to do so! The Greek salad was really good and very fresh. The pizza was just okay. I was disappointed in the mushrooms on the pizza as they were very tiny pieces and there were hardly any of them. Steve talked with us about the stores origin story and how it came to be. Very inspiring local providing quality food and service to the community! The food was amazing! We got a large pizza, garlic knots, and the pepperoni chips all 10/10! We played a few rounds of the arcade games and took in the beautiful renovations. Looking for a late night snack and I came across Peteys. I had never heard of them but after seeing all the excellent reviews I decided it would be worth trying. We ordered a small pizza , steak sub and BMT sub. Even though doordash gave me a snail of a delivery driver and my food was luke warm upon arrival the pizza was still excellent with a very tasty sauce and freah ingredients. The steak sub was one of the best I have had. You could easy the sautéed onions and the sub bun alothough crisp k the out side was nice and soft on the inside making this sandwich a home run. One thing I noticed with my order was the top quality of the products they use. There is no skimping here. My suggestions are ordering direct skipping door dash and trying the pizza and steak sub. Two picks you cant go wrong with. My son ended up having the BMT incase you are asking yourself what we thought of that. My office is nearby and I tried every restaurant in this area. The postman delivered a flyer for Petey's. I wanted to try something new. I didn't know they existed. OMgosh. It was not a mistake!! I had the rigatoni with alfredo...they make it fresh. I ordered a small veggie pizza with alfredo instead of the regular pizza sauce. Great all around. Garlic knots were great also. I ordered from them the first time and literally had dreams about the pizza that night because it was so fantastic. I most recently ordered this past Friday, May 6th around 9pm and it was amazing yet again. Whoever the gentlemen is that was working that shift, thank you!!
