This place is amazing. Been going since I was a kid when they had xlarge pizzas. We had pizza from them every Saturday growing up. The xlarge sadly is no longer. We had some pretty good pizza from this place today. It was nothing fancy. Reminded me of my childhood! The ingredients were really good. The sauce was not super spicey (however I did get heartburn). The pepperoni curled when cooked. The crust was nice a chewy with a little flakiness on the edge. We had round and square. The square you can get Detroit Style with sauce on top or just regular. We got it regular. Mostly because of picky eaters! It was cooked to perfection. The cheese had a little crunch on the edges and you had a slight little crispiness on the bottom of the crust. The round was classic. A simple sauce, chewy crust, and great toppings. The cheese bread was amazing. You could taste the garlic and butter. Combined with that cheese! I could make a meal out of that. Antipasto salad came with our order. Nothing to write home about. They don't have their own Italian dressing which is so sad to me. Sliced olives, ham, salami, pepperoncino, and cheese (provolone I think). All of that a top of way too much iceburg lettuce. But whatever, I'm there for the pizza! read more

Our family has been ordering delicious pizza's from Franco's since at least the 1980s...possibly the late '70s, if they were around then. Anyway, it's been a long, long time. Their food is always wonderful, the perfect ingredient for a happy evening. Even the salads are always fresh, bread sticks, sandwiches all as terrific as their pizzas. Prices have always been quite reasonable, and they often send out coupons through mailers or door-to-door handouts which make the deals even better. Service is fast and efficient, I don't think they ever bungled or lost an order for us in all these years. That's pretty impressive! I can't believe I never reviewed Francos! Man this place is legendary. My recommendations are you have to try the Garlic cheese bread with whatever toppings you want to add. Ask for a tub of garlic butter. If you choose pizza I suggest either the square Sicilian style with whatever toppings you choose, or a round double cheese double pepperoni well done. Good subs too but there's a few things to start you off. read more

I grew up on Franco's as a kid in the 90's. We normally stopped in twice a month. Looks like the kids took over running the place for their father. The pizza has the same great crispy corners. They now let you flavor the crust at no charge. Same real toppings and high quality cheese. I always order it with light sauce on the top as our family always did. Otherwise, they normally have more sauce than your average place. It's good, but I am not a fan of sauce no matter who makes it. The small cheese bread seems smaller than before and more garlicy. It also has less cheese but more butter. This is why I begrudgingly knocked off one star. I also got the small antipasto salad. Same ingredients as before but no onions? Not a big deal. The ranch is fresh and better than I remember. I got all 3 of these in the large combo pack for $17.99. I remember they had a small combo pack with all three items for $12.99 back in the day. Oh well, inflation hurts. Franco's is still an awesome independent pizza place that will remind me of my childhood. Perfect winter comfort food. No qualms in recommending it! read more

The pizza was good fresh and hot. Delivery was average and a little more cheese would have been appreciated.

I got 4 square pizzas, the pizzas seemed like 95% bread dough. The burnt edges were tasteless, like eating plastic. The leftovers were eaten slowly by the kids. I'll stick to Loui's, Buddy's, and even Uncle Andy's. Franco's is the cheapest price, but for me, was low flavor. The crust was the worst part of thr pizza. read more

Franco's has really good Pizza. Franco's is up there with Sorrento Pizza and Pizza Connection one of the best Pizzeria's in Michigan.

Franco's Pizzeria has pretty good pizza, but what brings me and my friends round each time is the subs. We get carry out (delivered, very low charge for delivery) at least once a month when we get together on Fridays. You have to try the Italian Sub or the Turkey Club they are a full 16 inch sub for the whole (can get 8inch 1/2 sub) at a reasonable price of about eight dollars. The subs are oven baked, and the salami gets all crisp and oily, like only baked salami can, yummy. It's not fancy bread either just a nice hot sub, delivered fast and tasty. read more

I grew up near Primo's Pizza in Oak Park, which has given me incredibly picky taste when it comes to pizza. I recently moved to Center Line, and had been looking for a new pizzaria. I met the owner and told him where I grew up, and he assured me that my quest for good pizza in the area would end that day. He was right, because Franco's is pretty amazing.
