i've never been more appalled in my entire life. i placed a order through the app at 7:30 last…read morenight for two pizzas and two packs of breadsticks, said it would be ready by 7:54-7:59, so i thought we could go kill some time at the stores nearby, before we left, there was still a line inside the place and thought it would be awhile, so when it was 7:50 we came back and there were no cars, no line, and the lights were off? it was only 8pm and they don't close till 12? so my boyfriend went inside to go check and see if our food was done because on the app it still said that they only go the order and nothing was being made yet, after about 5-10 minutes of him waiting there, i decided to go in, not only was the door locked upon arrival, i walked in and there were three workers just standing around, i found out that two of their workers had quit, and they are now somehow closed. so i had to argue with two of the workers about making my food that i paid for, because they were trying to get me to refund my order because they were too lazy to make it. i get it, two people just quit, but we were the only ones in there and theres still three of you left. so after about 5 minutes of arguing, they finally decided to make the pizzas and after 10 minutes of waiting we got them, and other people were outside the building in the cold since the door is locked, probably in the same situation waiting for their order too. i'm truly just disgusted by the lazy and rude behavior i was shown last night by the employees, and not to mention the way one of them spoke to me, which is not how you should speak to women. this generation needs better parenting and discipline. the establishment itself was clean but it was very hot inside (obviously) and the windows were all fogged up.

Tonight I made it a point to leave the job at a decent hour so I could grab a pizza and kill the craving. I chose Sorrento based on Yelp reviews and when ordering discovered that apparently I had gotten a pizza from this location a year prior. I went in for pickup as they won't deliver to the area that I stay due to; dare I say it, high crime. While the area is sketchy, and I don't blame them for staying away, I have never had an issue there. Regardless, I placed a phone order and started my 30 mile drive to grab the pie and go to the house. When I arrived; the pie was waiting; and it was hot and ready to go. I threw it in the car and embarked on my 2 mile drive back to the base. When I arrived at the house, it was still warm and I brought it inside and began to devour it. The pizza was very good. Doughy crust, delicious toppings, and ample cheese and sauce. I won't lie, I ate almost an entire large by myself. I've friend several pies while in the detroit area, pizza papalis is a fave, but I don't always have time for that drive. And that's a huge deep dish Chicago style pie. Sorrento hit the spot and will be a staple for years to come now that I know the location and have tried the pizza. The staff was friendly when I picked up and the quality was very good.

Was in and out in about 15 seconds it seemed! Super friendly guy at the cash register and the cooking and preparation area back there looked brand new and state of the art!
