The antipasto has olives and peppers along with the usual suspects (people say it's more traditional) and the dressing doesn't have much vinager but it was great. The wings were a 7 (but like with pizza, we're kinda snobs) good hot sauce seemed homemade. Bottom line, absolutely terrific, really good food. We still put Loui's and Buddy's (Conant location ONLY) ahead but still outstanding. In 2024 and 2025, Johnny Z's brought it back, collaborating with Full Rack Barbecue instead. I've also tried the cheese bread and the boneless wings. I've had the cheese bread twice now, and it's about what you'd expect it to be. I will say, the first time I had it was better than the second. I recommend getting the garlic butter dip. As for the wings, they were just okay, but I'd be willing to give them another try. All things considered, Johnny Z's is a solid, local pizza place, and is better than your typical pizza chain.

I took the pie to go and enjoyed it at home since it is take out only. The pizza was hot, the crust was crunchy and the toppings were delicious. This was a great pizza! Detroit square style similar to Buddy's. While cloverleaf may be small and take out only, you're missing out if you're not giving them a try. I will come back again and enjoy their delicious pizza.
