We ordered this 17" extra large pizza and large, 16 piece garlic cheese bread. Such a good dinner for the family. It was kind of a treat as we hadn't really planned for dinner and needing something kind of quickly. We actually used DoorDash for the delivery and the pizza and breadsticks were great. It's a MUST when we come through Roseville. They will toast the subs if you ask and it makes all of the difference. The ciabatta is my favorite, while hubby prefers the Torpedo. From the previous "racist" reviews I went out on a limb trying there pizza after a friend recommended this location. Pizza is my all time favorite, but after practicing a healthier lifestyle slices every so often is a steal! Upon entering I don't know how to feel about the welcoming but hey I dismissed it, after all I knew what I had come for! I get up to the pizza counter and started inquiring, so of course the employee verbalizes all type of comments on how great every pizza is. I then select 2 different ones, the man behind the counter asks how many do I want 1, 2, 5, 7 (as soon as he said the last number him and a female employee burst into laughter). I assured him as I am watching my figure I do not need 7! Fast forward I get home take a bite of the pepperoni slice and besides the excessive grease, the bread was hard and not tasty, the cheese was okay, and the sauce was sweet the combination didn't blend well. Good, filling pizza for less than $2/slice? I'll take it! This was my lunch today and it was amazing. I found the Italian sub case on my way out, and may have to make a return trip to get one of those. This Buscemi's is the one to go to! The pizza and subs are the best of any metro Detroit location. The staff is always friendly. They carry some uncommon brands of chips, beyond the standard Better Made and Lay's varieties. It's not the closest location to my home or work, but definitely worth the extra drive. Were I to say this aloud, it would probably sound like a load of rubbish. I assure you it is not. The place that sells the best pizza and sub combination is a convenience store. And it'd be true! Keep in mind that I have a lot of "favorites" as far as pizzas go. I think the same could be said about subs as well. That being said, I'm always in the mood for Buscemi's. (And in writing this review, I'm half tempted to stop typing to go get two slices and a torpedo!) Buscemi's does an Italian style sub that comes in two sizes: small, and torpedo, which is roughly 12". I know everyone is up in arms about toasted subs - and in fact, I had one yesterday - but I don't see what the big deal is. This sub is not toasted (though you can get it toasted if you really want) but is more tasty than any Quiznos or Subway sandwich I've had. It might be the bread - thick Italian white bread with heavy sesame seeds on top. The pizza is to die for. There's really only one place that can outdo Buscemi's square. They use good dough, awesome sauce, and a dash of oregano that ends up making all the difference. Just because Buscemi's also is a convenience store doesn't mean that you can't find something absolutely tasty in it. Never forget that! read more

I have been a big Bucemi's fan for over 40 years. The slices I purchased at this location the other night were NOT Buscemi's. While the crust was similar, the tomato sauce was scant and did not taste like Buscemi's, the cheese was wrong and the pepperonis were not the signature 3 large ones but 4 dried up small ones. I knew it didn't look right but thought it might tast ok....it didn't. The signature sub we purchased was also lacking with only a few slices of meat and cheese. Tasted different like it was missing something or using lesser quality ingredients. My impression is that this franchise is trying to save a buck. Hope they use this review to change their procedures and serve the products correctly. read more

This is my second time eating at the Original Buscemi's in Roseville and i love it! I must say that i am a bigger fan of the round pizza more then the square but both are very good. Every thing on the menu is made fresh and you can definitely tell the difference. You can actually watch the pizzas coming right out of the oven piping hot. They make just enough food through out the day so that when you walk you can have the piece of mind knowing your order is fresh and has not been sitting there for hours. Another great thing about The Original Buscemi's in Roseville is that it is a party store as well. What more can you ask for. I just love their Ciabatta (pronounced "Che batta") sub. It's full of meats and veggies on a crunchy, parmesan toppped flat bread, dripping with tasty dressing. (I think I'm making myself hungry . . . ) The baby subs are also good for a lighter sandwich. They have pizza, pitas, pasta and potato salads, a variety of chips and alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. All Buscemi's do not have the same quality sandwiches. They don't even deserve the one star. Today ordered xlarge with six toppings and salad. First the salad was made with shredded lettuce you put in subs. Terrible and hardly no other ingredients for antipasto. Second pizza was dry and barely two pieces of each ingredient for toppings with one nonexcisting. This was extremely poor. Could not believe they are buscemis'. They could have said out of regular lettuce and that would have been fine, but that terrible pizz a was out of order. Please don't continue this sad service as there are plenty other places available. Hopefully was employee not trained and not owners but I don't think so. read more

We order pizza from several different places depending on our mood. We always end up here though every 3-4 times we eat pizza. Partly for old times sake (been going here for over 30 years). They have some of the best pizza here mmm (sweet sauce) great tasting combination of sauce, cheese, toppings and bread. However, I had their calzone hoping it would be just as good but, it was really gross...no sauce in it and the bread tasted off..not sure why the major difference between the two?
