Another visit to this town means another visit to Jet's as well! It's our favorite pizza chain! Their 8-corner pizzas are an absolute must; if you enjoy one of the most current food trends that is Detroit style pizzas like I do, I promise you wouldn't get disappointed with Jet's. The bread was thick yet soft on the inside with a perfect crisp on the bottom, and the delicious and slightly spicy sauce was generously applied. All the pepperoni curled into mini cups as they were baked to perfection and they tagged team with the cheese to add the heavenly saltiness to the entire pie. Amazing. To be kind and less damaging to our waist sizes, we also went with a slightly healthier option: a thin crust pizza with pineapple and jalapeño, which was also sooo good. It seemed like an unusual combo at first, but when I took a bite of it, the toppings totally worked! The tang from the pineapple played beautifully with the tang from the pickled jalapeño, and I got this unique tangy, sweet and spicy flavor profile. It was delicious. This place just got downgraded by a star Ordered a large round extra cheese extra garlic Parmesan crust pizza for 14.80 good price Except when I got the pizza it was a square not a round. Who the hell puts garlic Parmesan CRUST on a square where there's no CRUST. Smh on that one. And I told them to add Cajun spice into the sauce and put the whole container in. Its was horrible. This particular location is so concerned about credit card fraud at their location, you have to go in yourself to pick up the pizza with the card you used to get your order. What is the point of an easy online transaction or the convenience of one person in the family getting the pizza? My husband tried to get a pizza for my mother and they refused to give it to him. He had the name, order number, and offered to call her for clarification. He was turned away. If someone has a stolen card in their hand they can get a pizza, but not someone who has the order information for a pizza that has already been paid for? Stolen credit cards used do not cut into their profits but that was their claim. This makes no sense and is so inconvenient. read more

What do you get when you let immature High School kids run the show? Poor customer service. This has been my "go to" Jets for some time now, but not anymore as their service has slowly started to decline over the past year or so. Yesterday was the nail in the coffin for me. I called in a pickup order to which my wife was going to grab on her way home from work. What I had ordered and had repeated back to me to me was a Large Square BLT Pizza and what we got was a plain Cheese Pizza instead. While I am all for going the Macaulay Culkin route every now and then we were really craving a good BLT Pizza and Jets has usually been it for us. My wife got home and went to change out of her work clothes in to something more comfortable while I got out some plates and cups. Upon her arrival back we opened the pizza and noticed it was wrong. Mistakes happen and I was a little upset, but nothing to get to worked up over. That was until I called to let them know we received the wrong order. The first person I spoke with was a young girl who suggested I speak with the Manager as she wasn't sure how to handle things of this nature. Fine, no problem. The Manager gets on the phone and by voice alone you could tell he was either just about to Graduate from High School or did last year. I am totally fine with a younger person being a Manager of a place so long as he or she had earned it and was responsible enough for the job. This kid however seemed to lack those qualities. I politely pointed out what we had ordered and what was given to us and he had this "and that's my problem how?" tone to his voice. He actually tried to blame me for getting the wrong order even though I was looking at the ticket that clearly stated I had ordered a BLT Pizza. Instead of offering to resolve the mistake and fix the order he had the nerve to say "What do you want me to do about it?" An experienced mature manager wouldn't ask that question. They would offer to replace or credit back the wrong items. My response was simple and I stated that I just wanted what I ordered and what I paid for. He finally offered to replace the item, but I'd have to come out to them and swap it out. Normally I would be fine with this, but as stated my wife had already changed as had I and we really didn't want to have to leave again so I asked if they could delivery it. The kid let out an annoyed sigh and set the phone down and started up a conversation with another employee before finally coming back 30 seconds later. This was the tail end of our conversation. Manager: "Look I offered to replace it for you..." Me: "Which I accepted and asked if you could deliver it instead of having me come back out there to swap it out." (Dead silence on the line for 15 seconds.) Me (to my Wife): "I think that little shit just hung up on me." (Just as I went to hang up he came back. He must have put me on hold without telling me.) Manager: "My driver will be there in a bit with the correct pizza. As for the one you got you better not have eaten any of it because it needs to come back with the driver when he swaps it out." Me: "Excuse me? Don't worry I haven't touched it and for the record this will be the last time I order from this location!" Roughly 45 minutes later the driver showed up with the correct pizza and when I went to give him the wrong one back he was cool and stated that we could keep it, that he didn't need to bring it back. While that was a nice gesture I gave him the pizza back and stated that I insisted he take it back with him as that was what his "immature punk Manager" stated I needed to do and show him it was uneaten. I am debating at this point whether or not I speak with the owner about his Managers attitude or just call it a loss and walk away. read more

If I could give this jets at five mile and middlebelt a lower review I would. I frequently came to this jets as a ongoing customer until everything started going downhill. I don't know if they switched owners or what's going on but this location has gotten more and more worse. My family and I use to love coming here until the quality just went down hill. Not to mention something was wrong with my pizza ( the cut was messed up and there were no toppings on two slices and the toppings were all in the middle like they were just threw on rushed ). I called back and this very unpleasant rude girl answered and had the biggest attitude she told me she was a manager too. Is this how you train your employees? You would think for a place that is supposed to have better quality pizza you get the quality of little caesars. They replaced my pizza but I will not be returning. I just got off the phone with this place for a delivery order, and I was compelled to Yelp them. We order food from this particular Jet's at least once a month, but it just occurred to me that each time has been a great experience. I won't bother raving about the food itself, which, as we all know, is second to none in the deep dish game. But what I think makes this place special is their courtesy, professionalism, and reliability. From the time the phone is answered, to the time the food is handed over to us at our door, every member of this all star team is professional, friendly, and patient. We've ordered from this place at least 25 times, and we have NEVER had bad service, an incorrect food order, or even a delivery later than promised. I know taste is the deciding factor for most pizzaphiles, but if the little things matter to you, and you're in their delivery area, then you'll never go wrong with Jet's! read more
