I booked a 6 AM flight for work purposes to get down to Orlando for a business meeting. When I arrived to the airport after waking up at 3:30 AM I was informed that our flight was cancelled. "why was it cancelled" I had to wait in line for and hour and half to discover.....that they did not know. In turn I was sent on a flight to Boston where I waited 2 hours in order to board a plane of screaming youth headed to Orlando. In place of my 8 AM arrival I will be touching down well past 1 PM. I am actually pecking this on said flight using their Fly-FI. They have not offered anyone involved any reason or compensation. The in air staff is terrific but the people at the ticketing kiosks and gates all had the disposition of a toll collector. Rubbish operation and I will not be indulging again. read more

what a joy it was to fly on Jet blue. i have done most of my flights on on budget airline and this was so much better. there was more legroom, we had movies, we had free drinks and snacks. our flight to florida seemed like it was 10 minutes long. oh we got a free carryon. don't get me wrong , it wasn't luxury but it was so much better than the budget line i usually fly. i will definitely fly jet blue again. read more

Well I will start with the crew member that was at the check in counter at gate 16 , she had an attitude with every customer she attended , now let's move in to the plane it self there was a crew member boarding and greeting everyone that went in the plane , while I was entering the aircraft I quickly spot my seat and I saw that it was dirty so I asked the crew member to get me a rag of some sort to clean it , he became angry and wiped it with hand , oh and did I mentioned the flight was late departing , jet blue is the worst ever 2nd timed I used them and both times I had a horrible experience. At check in staff treated my daughter like a little human and made her smile. Then the plane itself was clean and modern with nice TV. Seats were okay even though we were at the very back. Check in went well. The phone app made things easy. Their modern waiting area is a round hub with a number of gates around the edge and several food concessions and a news stand at the core. Bathroom was cleaned by an attendant. Sandwiches and drinks cost an arm and a leg. The gate crew were informative and friendly. Evening flight left ten min late but had less than 30 passengers. Flight crew was friendly and helpful. In flight viewing options gave us a wide range of cable tv channels and several movies. The flight crew could enunciate better and slow it down a bit when announcing the flicks. read more

On 07-03-2018, me and my family were set to travel on Jet Blue from Orlando to Newark. I received multiple emails from Jet Blue that our flight would be leaving later and later so I called the airline. I told the woman I spoke to that we had young kids and wanted to know what was going on. She informed me that they were waiting for a part to arrive and if I wanted to, she could book me on a flight the next day and since my flight would be delayed more than 4 hours, she would refund me $75 a person to help cover hotel and other expenses. Now, I have only been give $50 a person in credit that must be used within one year. I've emailed a representative and a supervisor who insist that this was a miscommunication and my "interpretation" is incorrect and that since the flight was delayed due to weather (not true), they won't honor the promised refund. read more

Terrible Customer Service, they left my book bag on a rack for 10 mins while my flight was boarding, than it took another 10 mins with multiple people having to ask about they're bags for them to finally check the bags, and made me miss my flight for something that could have been a 5 minute process. read more

Favorite airline! I've never had any major issues with JetBlue so I can't really speak in terms of their customer service, however the flying experience has never been anything short of 4 stars for me. Especially during my recent trip from NYC to TPA, flight attendants were incredibly friendly, TV with cable/local channels for every seat, and free WiFi! That is not something you get all too often. I always try to book my trips on JetBlue whenever possible. read more

A friendlier airline. I used to fly Continental from Newark to West Palm, but have switched to Jet Blue. Maybe fewer daily flights, but competitive on price and you get your own TV and movies. I had a vacation planned traveling JetBlue from Newark to Fort Meyers, Florida and back earlier in February. Couldn't have asked for much more in an airline company--both flights were on time, the seats were spacious and comfortable, I got complementary beverages and snacks, the staff was friendly, and I was able to listen to Sirius Radio and watch the tv on the back of their seats for free, at 35,000 feet. I fly somewhat frequently and have made it a point to seek out JetBlue flights when they are offering a similar price to the other carriers. I'd even pay a little bit more to fly JetBlue than some of the other big name airlines. read more

Worst flying experience ever. First you cancel our flight to Orlando 28 hours in advance of a snowstorm that never came. Then you tell us the next available flight is 4 days later! Then, after we rent 3 vans to drive 23 cheerleaders to Orlando, you call back 8 hours later to tell us you now have a flight! After telling me under no circumstances that you would call me back if more flights were added; that I would have to keep checking. Now, on our return flight, I find out 15 minutes before arriving at the airport, that the flight is over 2 hours late! Unbelievable. If I could award 1/2 star, I would. I will never, ever fly JetBlue again. Flew for first time with friend to visit friends in California, out of JFK NY. It was delayed, delayed, delayed. Now, I flew on this airline for the first time - girlfriend said it was really good. Well, it's really crappy and I was singing the Blues most of the time. She doesn't think so anymore. We get on the plane, the carpeting looks filthy and is held together with Duct tape. The seats were piled on top of each other so closely that I had no leg room (we are both under 5'6"). Could not sleep, so we tried using ear buds brought with us - audio was very poor, and our seating was so uncomfortable that we gave up watching anything, even sleeping! I read a book most of the way. Very difficult to get even a simple cup of coffee. So we arrived in CA exhausted and cranky with neck aches. I got up frequently to stretch my legs and back. Also, this airline will only use credit cards for baggage check - no cash. Stewardess was curt, at best. Coming back, we bought into the hype of purchasing "leg room." Yes, we had leg room. Not a hell of a lot better. We vowed, that if we ever have to fly JetBlue again, we are purchasing First Class tickets. Other than that, I will avoid this airline. In the 80's and 90's I really enjoyed traveling by plane. Now, post 9/11, it is a miserable experience, for most trips, but the airlines that I choose to fly with are still decent. If my husband had been with us, he would have canceled the flight, looked for another, and failing that, driven us back home! read more

My sister traveled from India to the US to see us here in FL. She landed at Tampa, FL, and gets to know that JetBlue left her luggage behind in JFK where she had her layover. She got her first bag after 7 days and the second bag wasn't found. The entire process from filing the claim, to finding the bag again after 2 months (another passenger had taken by mistake), to getting the bag customs cleared by FedEX in India, to begging for approving the claim because the JetBlue Baggage Claim department is not able to provide the required commercial invoice and documents to FedEx. I have made 100s of calls to JetBlue keeping all my calm and patience. They never bother to call back and follow up. Sandra Cody (Sandy) and Luiz are two women who have no courtesy or customer service knowledge. Sandra Cody (Sandy) has been speaking with me in a rude and loud tone as if I am begging for something that I do not own. The airline is bogus. No care for customer's time, energy, and I am pretty sure JetBlue does not want returning customers. It is after saving a $1500 baggage claim without realizing that it is losing 50 times more revenue because now, I will tell all my friends and family to stay away from this trashy airline. read more

HORRIFYING EXPERIENCE! Jet Blue has just lied and admitted to lying. They were verbally abusive to paying customers who showed up in time for a flight. They would at first not let any customers on to the plane until family members complained due to a death in the family. Finally, after much aggrivation they let the customers down, forced them to be late, and then after saying they would put the luggage on the plane, it is documented they put a L on the luggage due to not processing for 30 minutes after the passenger was on the plane. They did not put it on the plane. Then said they would deliver it and decided to not deliver it. This was during a hard time to deal with abusive behavior of continual lying with smirks and attitudes from your staff is humiliating to a company. This is the world's worst airline I have been on and I will never fly this airline again and this message is to worn people so they won't go through any of the things I went through. I had booked round trip from Orlando to Newark Airport. My return flight was cancelled and I don't live in NJ so I called jetblue and asked if they give accommodation for there passengers and I was told it was do to inclamate weather and that's out of there control so they are not responsible to accommodate anyone. So I guess the weather is the customers fault. I had to spend the night drinking coffee at a 24hr McDonald's, thank goodness for McDonald's. I get to the airport the next day and I was not assigned a seat yet. On my original flight I was scheduled for a window seat and on this flight I had an Isle seat. I am a thick women and I don't ever book the aisle seat because they always hit me with the cart. I spoke to the person at the gate who told me that they basically did may a favor putting me on the flight like I was flying for free. Flight back to fll from ewr is just as frustrating as the flight up. Weather is not a factor there or here today. Flight is 2hrs late due to a "delay" in fll. Never received a notification. Wow. Where do I even start with Jet Blue. I've had two HORRENDOUS experiences with them. The first one was when the plane left 20 minutes early and we had to wait 3 hours for the next one. No refund, and they made us PAY MORE. The second one was today when mechanically the plane wasn't working and they made us wait THREE hours just to tell us mmmm time to go on another plane! No refund. No discount.The people who work here CLEARLY have low intelligence and don't care about their customers. The staff was rude the first time when we missed our flight and wasn't accommodating or welcoming. The staff was rude the second time as well saying that they don't have a definite answer and don't know what they can do for us.... mmmm then why do you work here and what is your role here? To do nothing?! I've had to wake up around 4 AM for a flight that didn't happen and we STILL had to pay full price. The flight was supposed to leave 6:30 however now it's 9 o'clock and we are sitting here. Our flight was rescheduled to 6:00 PM!! Jet Blue doesn't have their shit together and I beg everyone, please do not fly with Jet Blue, because frankly it's a scam and they are wasting EVERYONES time. They do not care about the well being of their customers and they only care about people's MONEY. I'm well aware of the potential for delays when flying, but this evenings experience with JetBlue was amateur hour at its finest. The weather was not severe enough for flights to be delayed or canceled, yet we're faced with the prospect of close to a 4 hour delay. No real reason and poor communication from from the Jb team. On top of it all Terminal A at EWR is a joke. Bar closed at 9 and options are limited for entertaining yourself hours on end. Normally don't complain, but they dropped the ball on this one. Flight was just pushed another 30 min as I was writing (4th delay). How is it the expectation of over promising and under delivering is now the standard. And how do you miss the mark so badly? I scheduled a vacation for my boyfriend and I to Puerto Rico as a Christmas gift through Expedia. I was informed that the airline that we would travel with would be Jet Blue and since I have never flown with them I was happy that I would finally have a chance to check them out. Boy was I wrong! I was scheduled to leave on a Sunday and return on a Wednesday which was a short getaway, but just enough for us. Unfortunately I ran later than expected when getting to the airport due to traffic, but I still managed to arrive before my scheduled departure time. However, upon my arrival I was told that the flight left early and the only other flights that they had for the day would get me to Puerto Rico at 9 pm. After running around the airport checking other airlines that might get me into Puerto Rico a little earlier I was informed by a Jet Blue supervisor, (through an Expedia representative) that the flight did not leave, but had been sitting at the gate for the last 2 1/2 hours due to mechanical trouble. When I went back to check-in I was informed that the plane was indeed still at the gate and given my boarding passes without as much as an apology. I rushed to get to the plane, but when I arrived the plane was just pulling out. To make a long story short; I had to cancel my entire vacation due to Jet Blues negligence with my travel arrangements. You would think that after all of this that they would offer me something for all that I went through right? At least call me to apologize right? Well you would be wrong. Instead they gave me more terrible customer service. The only thing that they offered is for me to take a flight which would put me in Puerto Rico at 10pm which would have been fine if they agreed to extend my vacation for me one day due to the day that I lost in travel, but they refused. And Although I didn't make it to Puerto Rico my bags did and I was told that I would receive a phone call when my luggage arrived. I was not called and when I was able to get in touch with Jet Blue I was told that I would have to pick up my luggage. After all that I have been through they refused to deliver it?!?!?!? jetblue lied and did not stand by and uphold their payment policies. don't trust them. they promised that you could use paypal and it would be a safe transaction and you would be protected. but what they don't tell you is that by using paypal they; jetblue can not protect you from paypal deciding they will take the money back. beware this could happen to you while you are actually in the middle of your travels. then what? you could be stuck at your destination without any way home. this happened to me. thank god i had not traveled yet! i had purchased a ticket using part of my paypal balance. i was sick therefore i could not travel. because i had a contagious disease a supervisor at jetblue allow me to cancel my flight without penalty. she refunded me and put it "safely" into a travel bank fund. a week and a half later i was feeling better so i decided to start looking at rebooking my flights. i went onto jetblue.com and found some decent flights. i went into my jetblue bank and to my dismay, there was only $165 of the $355 i originally had. i immediately called jetblue to ask them what had happened. in the travel bank it appeared there were two purchases which i myself did not make. i then went into my paypal account as well as my email account. what i found was unbelievable; it showed that jetblue had refunded the money but when i spoke to jetblue they said they did nothing of the sort. so really what happened? no one could tell me nor did they care to tell me. well needless to say the refund was not even in my paypal account! so jetblue and paypal have a scheme going where they keep the door open to dismantle people's money and leave them possibly stranded. no wonder jetblue didn't make the cut for top 10 airlines to travel! what if i had gone on my trip and this happened? and i had no money or way to get home?? your payment is not safe with jetblue nor paypal. neither one of these companies cares about their customers. i have yet to get to the bottom of this. jetblue if you are reading this...i want my 189.90 in jetblue travel bank funds back!!!! i won't stop telling my story on every blog there is until i receive it back!!! if it was mistake on your part i will accept your apology and you can give me back my jetblue credit. that is all i will accept!! i must say i am totally disappointed that you such a big giant would be in cahoots with paypal a company with such a shady reputation!! do what is right jetblue!! read more
