At this point, I'm disappointed in the lack of lasting solutions and follow-through on their warranty and workmanship. He then "re angled" the half round gutters to drain. 5 months latter same gutter came off the side of the house worse then before. I contacted him and one of the 1st comments was you can't angle half rounds. He didn't offer to come rehang the gutter he offered nothing. I expressed a lot of disappointment around this. I got a different contractor to come out. Their is no damage to the existing structure the gutter is not faulty. The contractor assessed what was previously repaired. Ribbed nails were put back into the preexisting holes. No additional fasteners or attachments were done. So no realignment if you go back into the same holes. The nails are less likely to be successful if driven into an already existing hole. Maybe this was an off day for him.

He had quite a job ahead of him, our old faucet was heavily coated with calcium from a persistent leak. But he assessed the problem, made plans to take apart the faucet as far as he possibly could, and from that point forward it was a matter of Joseph taking the calcified pieces and separating them in a manner that worked, but did no harm to our granite countertops. I was impressed with his ability to pivot away from what would not have worked, and use his skills to figure out the way to succeed. It is good to find creative tradesmen these days, we would love to have him come to our home if we need further help with the plumbing.

Both toilets stopped up today--Super Bowl Sunday. Gordon was recommended by my regular plumber who could not come. He was here by 1 pm and finished before 2pm! Also, his bill was considerably less than his estimate! He is a really nice person and I will definitely call him again if needed--although he even gave me a great hint on how to avoid the problem in the future! Would not accept the 6 pack of Stella Artois as a little token and refreshment during the game and although I almost overpaid him, he noticed and corrected me. Can't recommend him enough. I purchased the new toilet myself, and Jack returned three days later to install the new fixture and haul away my old one. He also changed the seat for me, putting the existing seat onto my new toilet (it was much better quality). Jack did such a fine job that I recommended him to my daughter, who lives less than two miles away. She was having the same tank water "running" problem with a very old toilet.
