I settled on the blood orange that was very bubbly and sweet while my husband enjoyed the black cherry. I enjoyed the jesters chicken sandwich with broccoli my husband had the bacon Cajun ranch burger. Overall great stop. The view of the rolling Kentucky hills was per from the porch while we enjoyed our meal. read more

Stopped by here on a recent weekend in-between Bourbon distillery tours. We got a tip from someone at our first stop, so we decided to give them a try. A bit chilly out, but their new patio space was hard to pass up! When we pulled into the parking lot, the smell of slow-smoked meats wafted through the air, and their green egg was cranking away. We then knew we had to get something from that smoker!!! Service was leisurely, but we were in no hurry. We sipped on our teas and waited for the two "specials" to arrive. The caprese grilled cheese sandwich was charred and crisp on the outside, bright and tangy inside served with a wonderful salad full of mixed veggies, fruits, nuts and a slightly sweet dressing that tied it all together perfectly. The smoked pork tacos were the bomb...smoky, charred chunks of pork butt served in flour tortillas topped with tomatoes, scallions, shredded cabbage and a wonderful crema sauce. The views are a million bucks and the pace slowed at this spot...maybe next time we'll actually stop and drink some of their wine! Well done, team! read more

Okay first the positives. Very cute patio with a great view. The staff were super helpful and very friendly. They have plenty of food options but did not try any. Pet friendly patio. I tried the wine flight, and if you're into super sweet wines then it might work out for you. But I could only finish 1 of the 6 pours. Way too sweet, but also leaves a bitter taste on your tongue. It's just not my type of wine. I recommend the flight before you get a full glass because I would not have been happy with a full glass of anything. read more

An amazing dinner with even better service, to call Jester's winery a hidden gem in Marion county would be an understatement. I'm baffled this place doesn't have a group of people waiting in line every time I'm there. Relaxing location with nice outdoor seating. The staff and ownership are quite accommodating and friendly. Be warned... if you are a wine enthusiast with a palate for traditionally popular wines, you could find the wines from Jester's jarring. The options are very sweet and have odd aftertastes. Amazing Winery with the absolute best staff and very welcoming atmosphere. We planned a day trip out to this winery and it did not disappoint, the food was delicious I had the Chicken Tacos and my Wife had the Jester Burger we finished everything leaving nothing behind. We did a wine tasting of their wines and were left wanting more which is why we bought some to take home! If your ever in the area or just looking for a neat place to try for a day trip don't pass this gem up, we will definitely be returning with friends and hope to make this a regular place to visit. A must go peaceful stop. The wine was delicious with a great selection. I had a shared tasting and all the wine was fantastic. We came on the off hours and the owner was extremely accommodating. Finally got to check out this place after moving back to Kentucky, and it's a welcome and much-needed addition to the Marion County dining scene. The service was friendly, the food is tasty, and the prices are extremely reasonable. For a $6 wine tasting, I think we tasted about 8 wines plus a wine slushie. Eat your heart out, Napa Valley! We shared a 1/2 cheese plate, which was jam-packed with so much goodness. This was a great deal, which is really noteworthy because as much as I love a good cheese plate, I usually feel like I'm getting robbed on the price for one, but not here. Next, I had the pulled chicken wrap with broccoli salad which were both tasty and fresh. My husband had the burger, which comes with pimento cheese on it, and chips, which he apparently enjoyed since he didn't leave a crumb. My dad had the pimento grilled cheese and rib chili, which was a special of the day. They were very generous with the wine tasting - We ended up getting to try not one but two flavors of wine slushies as the end. Thanks, Jester's! read more

This is a great little lunch place, near Makers Mark Distillery. I have been to their sister restaurant, Horseshoe Bend Winery. It is a nice setting, but just not the full winery experience, as Horseshoe Bend; maybe because it is a cute little cafe! The food was delicious. I tasted my friend's chili. It was delicious. Perfect comfort food. The pork sliders are all very interesting, with different flavor combinations. The pork was melt in your mouth delicious. I had the pimento cheese and spinach ones. My husband had bacon. My friends loved their chicken salad and turkey sandwiches. The potato salad and broccoli salads were good. The wine tasting gives you a chance, to taste many different, delicious wines. The only think that would have been better is if they were served in glasses, instead of plastic cups, but I am not going to be picky. The service was great. The waitress was extremely friendly, and we enjoyed talking to her. read more

This place was recommended to us by someone at maker's mark distillery that is only a few miles from here. The food was absolutely amazing and hand made from scratch! We were greeted by Chris, one of the owners! He was great! Started out with a great introduction and tasting of all his wines. My boyfriend is not a typical wine drinker. After this visit he now is! Have to try Kongs Thong which has been featured on television. We enjoyed a delicious cheese plate! Building sits on top of a beautiful view! Fantastic!!! We were looking for food late, after a long day touring distilleries. We aren't local, but so glad we found this place! They stayed open late so we could pick up some food. We had pulled pork tacos, and burgers with chips. I can't say enough about the food. The pork was sweet and tender. The corn salsa paired perfectly, just a hint of sweet and a slight bite of spice to balance it. The fresh parsley finished it and made it refreshing. The burger was cooked, but still juicy and just falls apart in your mouth. If there was anything left, I would have licked the container! Clean place, and super nice staff all around. What more could you possibly ask for??? Next time we visit this will be our first stop! read more

We went here as part of a package tour and had lunch and a wine tasting. My friend and I eat had chicken sandwiches, hers was oriental, mine was creole style. We both thought they were delicious. As we had lunch, we got to try quite a few different wines. They were all delicious. The place is small but cute, the wine good, the lunch delicious, and the views beautiful. The service was wonderful; we even got to try wine slushies. We eat bought a bottle of wine, and have already told several people about the place. read more

If you're near Lebanon or Loretto this is a great place to stop for a bite to eat. Their burgers are unlike any burger I've ever had. They top them off with a house made apple slaw and house made pimiento cheese that I could eat by the spoonful! It's served with a side of chips, but I usually request a side salad instead, which is also delicious! Highly recommend! read more
