Found them in Thumbtack...They did not complete the job! Made several promises to come back and complete the job and pick up their equipment. They left their equipment in our driveway and dumped all the debris in our recycle bin. We had to pay an add'l amount to haul it away. Eventually, they stop taking my calls. This company was hired by FEMA to clean out the trees after Milton in parts of Polk County that included my neighborhood. I thought they looked and worked professionally and cleaned the dangling branches thoroughly from the trees as well as improved heights of the lower canopy if needed. It was nice to see the neighborhood get a valuable "freebie" on our tax dollars. I was surprised they didn't do a better job stacking the debris for pick-up...they covered sidewalks, had some dripping into streets and left smaller brush piles every 10 feet rather than gathering them into one area, making it less unsightly. They didn't speak to anyone so we weren't sure if the debris was going to kill grass for a long period. They were back within a week to scoop it up with a small bulldozer. Some neighbors complained they took living branches too. We had a brief power outage during their work but unclear if related to their work. So though I personally liked the work, it was a zilch on their (or FEMA's) part in communication from the start (not knowing they were coming nor who hired them, what the scope of work was or when debris collection would occur). read more

Please save yourself the heartache and don't hire this business. It's not worth the $250.00 we saved from another professional business who would have completed the job in one day. This guy is a big disappointment! I walked out to personally thank Jesse for the work that he had done (when he did show up) and I begged him to be a man of his word and show up on Saturday like he had promised me and complete the job. His words to me exactly were, "I don't want to run a bad business, I want to win your business for the next 10 years." I said, "Then please show up and complete the job we hired you for." I told him I couldn't handle this stress anymore given I am due with our baby any day now. Let me tell you, having to toss and turn at night in fear of when or if this guy would actually complete his work is no way to finish out a pregnancy. My husband and I hired him, NOT BECAUSE he was a friend of ours or the family, but a mutual friend recommended him, who we had previously met his (Jesse's) fiancé through, who btw, seems to have left a 5 star review below on his company... -RED FLAG- Seems like a false reviews/conflict of interest? ...I'd be more then HAPPY to provide proof that the invoice we signed does in fact list STUMP GRINDING as apart of the job agreement, along with his text messages that give a long list of excuses. Where we went wrong is trusting Jesse would be a man of his words and complete the job we hired him for. AND FOR THE RECORD!!!! IF I WAS A FAMILY FRIEND, it's pretty pathetic to see this is the way you treat your FAMILY AND FRIENDS. That right there, says everything about your CHARACTER Mr. Jesse James and you just put it on display for all other customers to see for themselves. OHH...Update!!! They just called to harass me and my family this evening because we began posting about our personal experiences with this business. We have every right to write a review about our experience, especially when they take money up front for a job they have yet to complete. They no called no showed numerous times, then stopped returning text and phone calls until we posted our review. Websites like this were developed for this exact reason. If a company does good business, they get rewarded with positive reviews to enhance their business and when a company does poor business, like this one, it gets honest reviews to help protect others from this happening to them. One last note, please do your homework before hiring any company. Don't be like us and wait until you're already knee deep in a pile of lies to start questioning if you made the right choice. I hired Jessie to remove some trees and grind the stumps and haul the debris away. They started strong but never finished. I paid them $4000 cash on a $4500 quote. They would never come back and finish. The had so many different excuses why they could not make it. They had to rent the equipment they did not own it. They did not pick up the all the debris. After weeks and weeks of no shows, I had to pay someone else to finish grinding the stumps and pay someone else to haul away the last of the debris. Shelly told me to take the remaining 500 and pay someone else. I would never recommend this company. They also gave me a copy of their insurance that was from an old company. When I call it the lady said Jesse used to work here but I have closed that company. What a scam. read more
