Admittedly somewhat hesitant, I chose a local only. Dr. Woodard made the entire procedure pain free and was kind, communicative and thoroughly professional at all times, as was the assistant. Being relatively new to the area, I 'tried' two other dental practices before going to Commonwealth Dentistry. I will not need to look any further. The staff was all phenomenal and polite, and the actual dental work was exceptional. I felt it was very thorough and left feeling confident that my smile is being taken care of. I was also able to get in next day to get molds for a much needed new retainer, as the one I had was falling apart in my mouth. Everything went great and super quick. I was in and out. I had called the day before to cancel because I wasn't able to get a sitter for my two very young children. The office manager was so kind, insisting I keep the appointment and that the staff would look out for them. At first I resisted, simply because they are really little and can be a handful. But I soon relented and arrived the next day with my 1 & 4 year olds in tow. The entire staff ooo'ed and aww'ed at them, saying "oh they are just angels!" the whole time. And honestly, they were very well behaved (they save all the mischief for us at home!). But my point is, the staff was as extremely kind; offering to help a busy mom and just performing a kind deed to a person--expecting nothing in return. I love the staff, the clinic is always spotless, their dental work is great -- we are definitely lifers. And I will be dropping the kids off for daycare with them on a regular basis now :) juuuust kidding! Highly recommend!

I have had pain with Novocain before this was extremely painful so much so that my arm reflexively went to push him away. So I got scolded and when I said it hurt really bad like I never have experienced before he was very blasé stating something like " oh well that means I got the money shot. Right where we want it." As someone in-between dental insurance, paying less than $50 (with an extra discount) for a full cleaning, x-rays, and full exam was seriously awesome. I walked in about ten minutes prior to my appointment, handed over the forms I printed in advance from their website, and had a seat. HGTV was on the flat screen, but I didn't watch much because they almost immediately called me back. Bottles of water are in the waiting area as well. My hygienist Emily was super super sweet and cheerful. She made me feel right at home and even asked what I wanted to watch on tv...because, yes, they have tvs at every patient station!! It's set up with subtitles so it's basically right in your face during the cleaning. Such a cool distraction! I watched the Today show. X-rays were easy too. They did both the biters and the pano as part of the Groupon. Didn't take long at all...and painless! The cleaning was thorough and she even checked for gum inflammation. I never experienced that before. But it was good to know that both my teeth and my gums were in perfect condition! Dr. Murry popped in last to do the exam. She was also detail oriented and easy to talk to. Overall this visit was totally fantastic (and free of pain)....and if I'm still living in the area in April, I can assure you I will be back!
