Nice place reasonable hookah price food is halal too .. good place to hangout with friends

After getting coffee at Rao's and walking around Parkdale Mall the Saturday after Thanksgiving, I was searching for a place to hang out. Since I don't come home to Bmt that often, I wasn't sure what we could do, no Crockett St. since we were there the previous night. While I was at the mall, I asked one of the Middle Eastern kiosk guys if there was a hookah bar in town and he told me about this joint. We did a quick search, saw that they had belly dancing that night, so we dragged my mom to go see some belly dancing! Alas, when we got there the belly dancer was off for Thanksgiving weekend. :-( We settled in with some "double apple" tobacco and proceeded to huff and puff. The place is in a strip center with a couple of other businesses. There are 4 lounge areas with couches and coffee tables, the rest of the shop has regular tables and chairs. There is an assortment of food - we had the hummus - which was solid. The people running the place were great and very helpful. My only complaint is that they probably need to get a stronger ventilation system in the near future. It's nice to see Beaumont get a place like this - support it! Love the hookah cafe. Friendly welcoming owners and staff and wonderful atmosphere. Definitely a different little spot here in SETX.

UPDATE* I now am a regular at the hookah bar, making at LEAST one trip a week. It is a big hangout spot for me and my friends. Any time you go is fabulous- at Night it can get crowded though. The staff is amazing- and awesome to strike up a conversation with. The food- SPECTACULAR. Their sandwiches are good, but really, get the baklava. It will change your life! Chill spot, good hookah and attentive on the coals which is a big YASSSS! Couches are old/tattered n looked shady but everything else was good! A little on the expensive side on a hookah but they have the good tobacco (which is normally extra at other hookah places so it comes out to the same amount) read more

It's not much to look at, but don't be afraid! Walk straight up to the counter at the back of the restaurant and ask for both a hookah menu and a food menu. Locally owned and family operated, the owner remembers my hookah orders which is amazing to me. The staff is great at explaining and recommending popular hookah flavors. I recommend going on a slow night if you want conversation, and a night with belly dancing if you want great entertainment. Try the baklava and the Jerusalem platter! My first experience with Jerusalem Hookah Cafe was impressive. My friend and I arrived at about 7:00 on a Saturday night and there were about 3 or 4 other people in the place. It got really busy around 8:30. We ordered food before hookah. It was my first experience with Middle Eastern food and it was so good. The owner makes the food by hand and from scratch so, expect a little bit of wait if you order food. The food was delicious and worth the wait. They also have a belly dancer every other Saturday night which requires a $5 cover and is worth it. The belly dancer and the music created an upbeat atmosphere. The hookah was fun and I think reasonably priced. There are quite a few couches to sit and lounge around while enjoying your food/hookah. Ive smoked a hookah but never at a hookah bar, this still holds true. My girlfriend and I went last Saturday to try something new and different. I had expected a persian palace but instead got persian connivence store. There are a few couches and the rest is picnic table and chairs. Tobacco selection is good but i was unimpressed with the food. They advertise to have middle eastern desserts but the only one they had was Baclava which I love but this one was stale and very very chewy. My plastic fork could not cut through the treat and had to be picked up to be eaten. Do yourself a favor and stay at home, smoke wacky tobacky from your hookah and get the baclava from the store. read more

First in and I enjoyed the vibe! I bought a couple of my favorite Cuban cigars that no one else in Beaumont sales, so that definitely was a plus. It's a nice Hookah Bar. Y'all should a grown and sexy night to bring in an older crowd, just a thought. read more

I love smoking Hookah and chilling with friends and for over the last prolly 5 years this has been one of my favorite places to go!! I love the customer service their all really friendly, the food is really good as well and last but most important no 1-hose hookahs. If you're like me and ever went to a hookah bar that just did 1-hose hookahs and all you could do was just sit their because you were waiting for the hose to be passed around. Came by here with a friend after a show since he's a huge hookah fan. As far as local hookah bars go it's the best, I'm also pretty sure it's the only one. An insanely long list of flavors to choose from, and a changing list of special blends. The man working the register recommended the Pomberry, and seeing as how I know very little about hookahs I decided to trust the veteran's opinion and it was a favorable taste. The room is divided into little sitting sections with couches for seating, and a table in the center for the hookah. The place isn't much in regards to atmosphere, but with BYOB (which I sadly learned about a little too late for my visit) and the latest and greatest in foreign music videos playing on the screen in there, it is definitely worth a visit. First hooka lounge I've been too since I moved to Beaumont, wasn't really satisfied. Couches had burn holes all in them hooka was $20 when they weren't really worth it. I'm use to paying $10 and having more than 2hoses. Even had to pay for bubbles.?!!? $1 for a ounce of soap..... Could have went to the bathroom n got free soap... I'm not cheap or anything but for the price range its high for no Reason. Won't be going back sorry homeboy read more

Hummus is disgusting. Hookah isn't bad. Very comfy couches.......and service is so so. Thursday night was dead. Have a smoke but the hummus is a no no. read more
