My first time ever to a Jersey Mike's. I was tasked with picking up sandwiches for everyone for dinner after slaving away in the salt mine all day. The restaurant was overall clean, unfortunately there were a lot of flies inside the restaurant, which bugged me (pun intended). The staff, although busy, greeted me immediately, they were very friendly and helpful. I ordered the Chicken Chipotle Cheesesteak, the Original Italian, hold the tomatoes and onion, on gluten free bread and a side of red wine vinegar, as my stepdaughter has gluten allergies. The staff sanitized the food prep area while making her sandwich to prevent cross contamination.. My wife ordered the Grilled Portabella Mushroom and Swiss, and I ordered the Original Italian on herbed bread with tomatoes and mayonnaise. It was surprisingly good. Are their sandwiches the best, absolutely NOT, but for a national corporate chain, they are better than all the other big chains. The order totaled over 50 dollars for four regular sandwiches. That seems ridiculous to me, it's sandwiches. To sum it up, the food was satisfactory and very overpriced. Next time we're in the mood for a sandwich, I will probably be back, but not as frequently as they would like do due their outrageous pricing.

My coworker recommended we give this place a try and we've been returning weekly. All of the team members are warm and welcoming which makes this location very easy to visit time and time again. When I feel like having a hot sandwich, I get the Big Kahuna. Houston has been scorching lately so I've been having the cold Turkey & Swiss. Both of those sandwiches are second to none in their own special way (add the toppings to please your pallet). There always seems to be a cool crowd of customers with high spirits. The crowd also makes it a good place to sit and enjoy your food. The register wasn't playing nice during my last visit so the manager gave us our food for free as opposed to waiting on the register to act right. Needless to say, I'll be back!

Steak sandwich as is with added mayo.

Today's Tip: Go to Jersey Mike's, ask for a free sub card and get the steak sub!!!!! But only ask for a free card IF YOU HAVEN'T TASTED THE STEAK SUB BEFORE. It is I give it a 10 out 10 and I definitely recommend! The bread was soft, and the meat to bread ratio was good. I'm not a big meat eater so if you are, consider adding extra meat. The customer service was great. I also wanted to add that I don't drink a lot of soda BUT today I had a vanilla soda they have their at the restaurant. LISTEN TO ME...IT WAS GOODT! (I meant to add the T for emphasis) If you like root beer, it's a lighter and smoother taste. I enjoyed at all. Simple, yet filling!

Thank you, Thomas, Kirsten, and the Jersey Mike's lunch shift team! Our volleyball team was in need of lunch during a tournament and this amazing crew got us out of a bind! We were in need of a place who does school invoicing for meals and 7 other places told us "no way", but thanks to Thomas' hospitality, we got our kids fed! Great food! Great people! Great place! Mike's way, everyday! Thanks, Jersey Mike's! We love you, Thomas and Kirsten! Love, Waller Volleyball!

I've been to this JMs maybe 4 or 5 times and it has let me down every time. From the hard bread to missing my custom items that I ordered every single time. Today is the final straw for me. Please see the photos. In my opinion, they speak for themselves.

My wife and I stopped in for a bite to eat after a service in the Woodlands on Sunday morning. After perusing their menu which was quite extensive, we decided to split a Klassic Ruben with Sauerkraut and Corned Beef on Rye. Wow! We were so delighted with our meal! This Ruben was just dripping with deliciousness. Just as good as we would have gotten in Palm Springs, Hollywood or New York. And the fries were nothing to sneeze at either. Hot, fresh and crispy. Just how I like them. Coupled with our Long Island Express and Beringer Red Sangria, we were two very happy dinners. The service at Katz's was just as good as the food. Brian was prompt and extremely professional. We did return a week later and both enjoyed a meal a half pastrami and corned beef and my wife a Philly Cheesesteak both with Tomato Basil soup. Again, another outstanding meal. There were so many delicious items to choose from on their menu we can't wait to return to try their breakfast selection, their dinner/main features and some of their fabulous looking deserts. Katz Deli looks to us to be a Jewish style deli with a touch of Texas/Southern/Cajun flavor. Katz is a small chain in the Houston area and I tend to avoid chain restaurants, but Katz Deli got it right and we are eagerly awaiting our next visit.

We ordered the banana pancakes (about 3 for $9, which is a great deal), corned beef hash and eggs with a bagel and cream cheese -- some of the best I've had at a breakfast spot, and a brisket bowl (not pictured). Everything came out quickly and hit the spot for a late-night meal. Late-night bites for Easter are a tradition for us, and Katz's ended up being such a great surprise. Definitely a place I'd come back to more often.

The sandwiches are amazing. I always get the cheese delight, and whatever spices they put on it always have me craving another one. My husband loves the cheesesteaks. They have French fries, but I didn't get them because I thought they would be cold by the time I got back to my husband's room. The kicker? There is an all the time deal that is buy two sandwiches, get the second half off, which brings the price of two sandwiches to only $9.67 before tip!!! I appreciated that he told us up front before we placed and paid for our order. You can tell this is a good local spot to go to, because they weren't slammed, but they had a consistent flow of people coming in, and everyone was super patient waiting for their food, which, in today's time, people are super impatient. The customer service was really great. When our orders came up, it was before the time he gave us, so that was great also! The hoagies came out hot and fresh! The bread really does a number on this sandwich, because it is light, airy, has a good chew to it, AND, holds together as you make your way through the sandwich. The meat was seasoned nicely and was tender. I had onions, bell peppers, lettuce and mayo on mine. I think next time I'll add some jalapenos too for a little bit of kick. The fries were super hot too, would be good to have a good little dipping sauce for those. All in all, solid hoagie!

Back then, I believe we used to have a flyer/menu from them that some employees ordered from. I visited on a cold day where most of the customers were taking their orders to-go. The setup is a little confusing at first, but you just go down the serving line and stop when someone asks you for your order. You can get a tray, or not, depending on how many plates or dishes you ordered. The ready area (for dine-in customers) is weirdly placed in the middle of the line and the spot for to-go orders is at the end of the line next to the last register. Once your order has been places, you grab the ticket and take it to a register. This setup reminds me of a little local deli I used to visit regular in Stafford. I will say that their selection of hot sandwiches and specialty sandwiches is limited. Most are 1 protein only which is probably how they can keep their prices so low. I asked the order taker if you could customize or make a hot roast beef sandwich or toast it and first she didn't understand me, then she just repeated the two hot sandwich options from the menu. I again asked can you make the sandwich toasted, then she said yes. The sandwich, by default, comes on French bread. I wasn't familiar enough with the menu to pick another bread so I just stuck with French. I chose provolone cheese. It comes out after a few mins and it's nicely toasted and ended up being a nice size sandwich with an adequate meat to bun ratio. The sandwich also comes with a pickle spear. I also added a cup of homemade chili which is pretty decent. The meat is finely ground and I prefer it to be more coarse, but the flavor was good. All of their entrees and side dishes have low prices. One of the best deals is the "classic" sandwich which comes with prosciutto. An even better deal may be their baked potatoes with 4 toppings for only $2.09 weekdays!
