The server came right over to take a drink order and answer some questions we had. They bake their own huge loaves of breads onsite which are available for pre-order take out. We enjoyed very large sandwiches: a classic Rueben and "Cali club" which was turkey, Swiss, bacon, l, T, honey mustard on honey wheat. I opted to tried the pepperoni provolone in place of the wheat bread. Each sandwich comes with a side - we got the pasta salad and blue cheese cole slaw. Everything was super tasty and very large. They also had a selection of desserts which looked good. It was $35 for food and two drinks. I recommend it and will be back!

We were super impressed with the size, selection, and specialty items....so we walked around and ended up buying a few items to use at the location we were headed to. (Beer, water, coffee, coffee filters) Like I said, it's a big store with nice, big, wide aisles. There were a lot of shoppers in the store; but checkout was a breeze. On our way to the bathroom, which was way in the back corner, we passed cool features like: a sushi station, fresh pizza counter, an olive bar, and even a gelato counter! (I've never seen a gelato counter in a grocery store before, and the only grocery store I know with fresh pizza is Costco.). There was also a huge floral department, a nice attractive corner for wine & beer, and even a little Starbucks. The Starbucks was more than just a counter too! It had 6-8 little bistro style tables and was a WiFi hotspot. I upped my review from 4 to 5 stars because even the bathrooms were nice & clean with raspberry scented foam soap & fresh flowers by the sink! (Nice touch Ingles I have seen other stores from this chain before; but never really paid attention to them. Now I'll definitely pop in the next time I see one; and I'm looking forward to the day they may eventually arrive in South Florida where I live.

And if that wasn't bad enough, the person who made our subs had very, very long hair pulled back, and then flopped over his visor onto his forehead. While waiting for the subs to toast; he pulled out his cell phone (with gloves on), entered a few clicks and returned it to his pocket and proceeded to finish the subs. Gross and unsanitary. It used to be a five star rating, but it's bad just about every time I go. The staff cleanliness isn't up to par. I've seen them wearing gloves and not wearing gloves. Only reason I give them a two star is, because of the shopping. I truly do enjoy the grocery side. It's clean and the staff is friendly. The store is well stocked usually. The meat department is good. I haven't had many issues with them. The produce is okay, but it isn't the best. I haven't had much experience with the bakery, but there food looks good.
