This is a good spot. I promise you that not all Jersey Mike's are the same. It depends on the manager, and you can usually tell right when you walk in by seeing if the counter is clean. That has been the best indicator for me anyway. On my first visit, a young kid was rude for no reason. However, the manager apologized next time I was in there and said he had noticed it. So that was cool. And this place is definitely clean with quality and fresh food. Definitely recommended if you like Jersey Mike's. It's one of the good ones. read more

My first time at Jersey Mikes didn't turn out well. Here's the scoop and 4 reasons why I won't go back... I walk in around 8pm on a Monday and there was a customer at the register with an employee, an employee cooking, and one assembling the subs behind the counter, and a customer that walked in right before me heading to the Pick Up section which is right by the register. 1. The cashier didn't acknowledge his presence nor the other 2 staff (it's a small place). 2. I followed the sign to the Order Here section and stood there for 5 minutes before the guy making the sandwiches said they'd be right with me. 3. He was making 3 sandwiches in a an extremely slow motion as if he was on something. 4. The lady cooking was coughing over the food, and the employee at the register was taking a long time with the customer; not sure why he was taking so long with her to checkout all awhile not acknowledging anything else. It was off putting and wasn't a scene I was excited about anymore so I walked out after standing there for 7 minutes. Customer Service is everything to me. read more

Came in here on a chill Sunday afternoon. not lunch... not really dinner but mid-day. Girl behind the counter seemed so put out... even to speak out loud. I felt so bad bothering her with my order. TBH we overheard them make my sandwich wrong and one of the 2 was like well just see if she'll take it like that? and my husband glared at them both and they decided to make it correctly without the raw onions and on the right bread. I ordered a sub tonight on gluten free bread which prompted the worker to ask about an allergen. I let him know it was a soy allergy not gluten but he still wanted to treat it as such; he changed gloves, cleaned the counter space, and used red chili paste from the back. Hello! We were just in your Round Rock TX location (we have been many times since opening). Today we went to pay our $28.04 bill with a $100. When the cashier looked at the drawer she showed us about $300-$500 worth of $20's and 1 $50. The manager told her they couldn't accept $100 bill for anything less than a $50 bill (no where in the store is this policy stated). We couldn't purchase our food because we only had the $100 (I didn't have my purse and my husband only had the $100 on him). Regardless the manager then started calling my husband a child because he couldn't pay with anything other than the $100. read more

Terrible experience. Order was supposed to be completed at 1:22 PM and I arrived at 1:25 PM to pickup the order. I went to the pickup window and showed the staff member my order confirmation and name and he told me it wasn't ready even though there were two bags ready for pickup. I was pretty sure one of the bags was my order but trusted that the staff member actually looked at my phone and verbally understood me. After 10-15 mins of waiting, he asked me for my name again and I repeated and he gave me the bag that had been sitting the whole time. I explained to the staff member that was the name and I showed him my order when I got there. No remorse, no sincerity, and no apology. He completely dismissed his mistake and sarcastically said "have a blessed day" mocking me after seeing my frustration. We're all human and we make mistakes but it's important to own up to it and at least offer an apology for a mistake made. We will not be going back. read more

Been to several JM's locations in the Austin area and they have been mostly good with a few misses being in my sandwich not prepared as ordered but customer service has always been good. That is until I visited this location in Round Rock, it was a very unpleasant experience. There were two guys and a girl working the main line, the two guys were the sandwich preparers and the girl the cashier. I had to repeat my order to the guy slicing the meats twice because he forgot, wrote it down the third time. The guy that dresses the sandwich was upset for some reason, I told him I wanted my sandwich and he was acting like he didn't know so I proceeded to tell him every ingredient I wanted in each sandwich, I ordered 3 of them for my family. He messed up one, I didn't say anything since he was clearly upset. What really bothered me is that right after we sat down to eat at the corner of the restaurant, one of the employees came out and started sweeping the tables nearby. The sweeping kicks up dust and she was moving chairs and stuff, couldn't she wait until we left. I also noticed the staff, which was not diverse at all, only greeted certain customer and was polite to them. I did not get a greeting nor a thanks for coming by so not sure why they only did it to certain people, I have an idea but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. I hope they work on their customer service, my money is as good as any other paying customer but I can always take my business elsewhere. I will start off with I have a 30 min lunch break in which to go get my food when I order that gives me plenty of time. I ordered we arrived at our pick up time quoted online most places I order from have it waiting . When It was about 7 mins late I asked was told it was on a full grill. 9 other orders were worked and placed on the togo bin these people were not even present in the store meanwhile mine is still taking forever (3 sandwiches nothing crazy) I did not ask for a manager but at 12 mins late one walks over again tells me why its late to which I responded I dont need your update I need my order please help your team get it ready instead of talking to me. She got offend that I asked her to do her job and called me a disturbance and that she could not help on a the grill she then proceeded to get a huge attitude with me and continue to talk to me I told her I'm not talking to you I would just like you to manage your team and get food out the door you know your job I dont need to be coddled I just need to get back to work. She continued with the attitude meanwhile the grill guy is moving at a glacial pace there were a total of 8 people working behind the counter so they were well staff. After telling me she couldn't help her staff she finally proceed over to them and did it all herself got the food out in about 1 min making it nearly 17 mins late from the quoted time. Customer's need you to meet your time quotes they dont need you wasting their time with excuses and you being offended when they are upset that their inability to manager 8 employees on a line. Two people on the grill made a total of 5 sandwiches in the 20 or so mins we were in the store. The grill was never full. Also if you are not meeting your online quote times you should update them to be accurate. There was nothing to prevent great service like a huge order just several people waiting for inadequate service. read more

I swung by this location for the first time on my way home from work and after being on the phone with my pesky bank all day, so I really needed something to help my mood! This location was very clean and had plastic dividers between employees and customers for COVID precautions. The employees were very polite and kind -- I was still on the phone with the bank so I may have been a bit all over the place, but the employees were awesome and worked quickly. New location just opened up. I'm a sucker for a good Jersey Mike's sub on Rosemary Parm bread. The meat and cheeses are sliced when you order so you know that these items aren't sitting out waiting for flies. However, I did see employees on multiple occasions use gloves to wrap my sandwich and then operate the cash register. Kind of gross. The barrier between the employees and customers is nice but makes it very hard to hear their questions. They have messed up once: Employee: Would you like it Mikes Way? Ex: onion, lettuce, tomatoes, olive oil, red wine vinegar and spices. Me: yes everything is fine. Employee: They put EVERY SINGLE AVAILABLE TOPPING on the Italian sandwich??!??! The Italian doesn't have banana peppers or Mayo. WTF. Make sure you see them making your sandwiches! The rewards program is pretty good and it's free. I always get freebies once in awhile. My partner order a Mike's Famous Philly on white. The cheese and meat was sliced up upon ordering, and the cheesesteak was cooked to order. Cool. The amount of meat was generous. We took the food to go, as it is COVID times. When we got home, my sandwich was made with a Parmesan oregano bread? Looking now at the menu it was rosemary/Parmesan. Didn't taste like rosemary. Either way, it was not correct, and I did not think it paired well with my sandwich choice. The Philly was on wheat. When looking over reviews for another nearby location, there were comments about gloves. Repeat here. The person that was working the register was also making sandwiches, but never replaced his gloves between tasks. He went from working the register, to touching the food with his hands, to working the register, to touching the food with his hands, never swapping out his gloves. I'm moved to Texas (at the time under protest, I was 12, I had no choice). The only thing I miss from PA are seasons, really tall trees, and Philly Cheesesteaks. I got one here along with a couple of different cold cut sandwiches. I would have given them a 1 if I only ordered the Cheesesteak, but the Ham and cheese and Italian ones were great. It took 1/2 of the Cheesesteak, to figure out why it didn't taste right. The steak part was way overcooked (I didn't know you could do that and have it taste that way. It had the same ingredients I've always had, but I finally figured out that it tasted bad (really bad). Being the lazy yet honest guy, I chucked in some stuff and took out most of the meat on the sandwich. After that, a considerable amount of cheddar jack, some ham, and picante sauce, the bun still did ok. I thought to myself, next time (maybe) I go there, I will take better notice, and if necessary, give them a lesson. Please don't condemn every Jersey Mikes you see. This is our regular, goto spot for takeawy sandwiches. My wife likes the original Italian and I get the classic Philly Cheesesteak. We are from the Northeast and Jersey Mike's sandwiches are as near as we've found to Philadephia sandwich fare here in Texas. Great food, reasonable prices and fast service. I placed an order through their website for a regular sized cold sandwich, it said it'd be ready at 7:33 PM. I had to wait until 8:05 PM to actually get it. In the end the sandwich was good, but I would have done something else if I knew it would take that long. I got there and there was short line of people having their sandwiches made and about 5 people standing around waiting for their mobile orders. Progress on the mobile backlog was really slow, and they weren't preparing sandwiches in order. One person had a hot sub prepared and was told they were working on a second cold sub. He got his cold sub 40 minutes later (what?). The person preparing the orders looked really flustered and confused while another employee had to keep reminding him to package up sandwiches.
