I will have to say that I find Jersey Mike's to be a very consistent chain restaurant. Talking to various owners, I know that their training for the new franchisees is rather complete. My go-to at Jersey Mike's for their cold Subs is usually their Italian sub. For a hot sub, I go with one of their cheesesteaks. You can't go wrong with either item. I'm originally from New Jersey, where we know Great Subs. Is Jersey Mike's a great sub? Not in New Jersey, no, it's not. I was the only customer in the store and I could not get the employees to come out from the back where I could see them talking. Finally I got the mans attention washing dishes and he came out, I told him I needed to place an order and he went back and told them I was there. They still remained in the back talking. After several conversations with my husband, we have come to this conclusion. The cheesesteak was absolutely awesome. I seriously would grab that sub again. However, it took them 20 minutes to make this. So I had to sit there and wait...and wait. We also got the #13, it was pretty good. It tasted like a sub sandwich. We honestly couldn't grasp why it was so expensive for these 2 subs. We paid just over $25 for these 2 "giant" subs. I wouldn't go back simply because of the wait time and the fact that it's mediocre food that's way to expensive. read more

Jersey Mike's does make good subs, and the tuna sub from here IS quite good. However I normally send money with friends to pick it up and bring it back to work. However, today I went there myself and I will say it's the last time I'll eat from this location. It's dirty. the counter tops are peeling. The meat case has burnt out lights and very little product in it. NONE of the condiment/topping containers were covered. Bacon was floating in the pickle relish, the woman dressing the sandwiches used the relish spoon to spread mustard and then put it back in the relish. The mayo had a nice spotting of lettuce and pepper in it...gross! To top it off it was INSANELY slow service. One person cutting meat and constructing it on the bread. On person dressing sandwiches, and one person at the register. The cashier was actually waiting 2-3 minutes between customers to ring them up because of how slow the sandwich making process was. I'm not quick to give negative reviews, but this place needs a face lift, a crew change, and a health inspection. read more

This is a nice deli that servces up fresh sliced meats and cheeses. The same slicer used for both, so not they aren't kosher, but what a great concept... fresh ingredients. When I went in, they were also supporting a campaign for breast cancer, so yay! The sub was delish -- if I'm in a pinch, I'll definitely pick this spot over Subway. Please stop running out of white bread!!!!!! I have been enjoying this Jersey Mikes location for at least 4 years and find it one of the cleanest that i have been in, never had a problem until this week. Went by Thursday night and they were out of white bread. Never had this happen so ok its a fluke.. i hate wheat. The sandwich was not good to me without white bread. I still have a craving for that familiar sandwich so last night i go by again and guess what? Out of white! There is something seriously wrong here. I understand trying to not waste food but now you are hurting your customers. I walked out upset because having to eat wheat was just not the taste i was looking for. I am considering giving them another chance today. I hope they wouldn't be out this early. You might be saving a few bucks by running out and forcing us to consume what bread you have left but this isnt any way to keep your business with a decent rating. Wow. I have not been to Jersey Mike's in years, and now I remember why. The bread was literally as hard as a rock it was inedible. The staff was nice and friendly but the place was dirty they were complaining that they didn't have any bread they couldn't wait to lock the doors. Nothing you should say when in front of customers. I like that they slice the meat in front of you but they need to be more sanitary and clean up after somebody's sandwich has been made. Not good read more

I like Jersey Mikes, but the 1 in nashboro village is not good, for starters I order giant they gave me a regular, I get home to find that its a regular and not only that the sandwich has hair in it. We call they say we're closing, so I say what is my child suppose to eat?! It's always a pleasure going to this Jersey Mike's. Most of the sandwich places I used to go to slack on the bread and JM's is always soft in the middle and crisp on the outside (yea I like some good bread) I always get the 55 (big kahuna chicken cheese steak) and it's my jam. The other night my girlfriend and I were cutting it close. I just got off work, it was Sunday around 8:45pm and they close at 9. I know it isn't that cool for the employees to stay late but I called on the way to place the order and when we got there everything was ready to go and they even threw in some extra pickles. I joked and apologized for it and they were really cool about it. Overall my experience is always good here in part because I love my sandwiches but also because the employees are great.
