I went there when they first opened this location and wasn't blown away as I had hoped. I ended up going in today to give it another chance and the Chipotle Cheesesteak rocked! I was unfamiliar with their sizes and realized just as I was using Apple Pay that I could have used points for it to be free. Well, the regular is the size of an average small sub and it was so good that I used my points to order another. The employee was so nice. He double checked that it was intentional and even brought it to me! The place looked really clean and is well lit. Next time I gotta try the chicken version! I'll be back! read more

Jersey Mike's Subs - Chipotle Cheesesteak - Fast Food Near Me - Methuen, Massachusetts

I'm only going to give this restaurant a one star review because it will not let me give no stars. I walked in there today to see a disgusting slicing machine, employees that didn't look like they cared to be there, and flies all over the place. Then the one young long haired blonde kid behind the counter dragged a long serrated knife down the wooden counter contaminating it with wood chips and bacteria and was about to cut my sandwich...and at that point, I declared I wanted a full refund. Thanks for ruining my birthday.... read more

I ordered the hot Italian to be honest with you at was a fairly tasty sub, but lacking a lot of the meats, which is what they delict in their photo is not what it's like. Take a look at it and for $17 for a giant sub it's an awful lot of money that you have to pay for. I would read it a three out of 10 and that's pretty sad. I'm not a fan and I will never be going back to Jersey Mike's. read more

Jersey Mike's Subs - Fast Food Near Me - Methuen, Massachusetts

I love Jersey Mike's and have been to several different franchises over 100 times since finding the brand over a decade ago. Ordered two club subs from the Methuen location and this was single-handedly the worst experience I have ever had with the chain. The sandwich before mine took the remaining bacon off the drying rack. No worries, they were in the midst of cooking more on the flat top and I told the cashier (young brunette girl with glasses) that I would go ahead and wait for the bacon to finish cooking. She then instructed the girl making the sandwiches to lift up the drying rack and fish out all the broken, grease covered pieces from the bottom of the trap and put them on my two sandwiches. Not sure what the rush was as I had already told the cashier I would wait and they were in the process of making three more packages of fresh bacon. Five minutes could have spared this review and kept me as a customer. I get why the location has a 3.0 rating now. read more

Jersey Mike's Subs - Club sub. - Fast Food Near Me - Methuen, Massachusetts

Hi, I got food poisoning after ordering the bacon ranch cheesesteak sub from the Methuen-Loop location. I was in the bathroom, with it coming from both ends, within two hours of eating from there. Apparently there is lack of cleanliness or cross contamination. Good thing my toddler only had a couple bites and it didn't seem to infect her. When we called to report the incident as to prevent it from happening to someone else, the worker on the phone simply replied, "soooo what do you want me to do about it?" When we asked for a manager, she said there wasn't one on the weekends. Extremely disappointed read more

Been a long time Jersey Mike's customer for over 7 years. Super disappointed with this Methuen location. Went in over 30 minutes before close but they were already "out of bread" and the meat/cheese slicer was completely clean. Seemed they made my sub out of pre-shredded scraps. If i were the owner/franchisee i would be EMBARRASSED! Absolutely not up to anyone's standards. read more

It's always worth the trip, and I'll keep coming back for sure! My go-to is steak and cheese, but I throw in some banana peppers--so good!

Good sub, just tiny for the price. I'm a guy of 6'2" 230lbs. A regular size will not fill you read more

Jersey Mike's Subs - Good sub, just tiny for $11 - Fast Food Near Me - Methuen, Massachusetts

When we found out that a Jersey Mike's location was near us, after moving to Massachusetts, we were happy because we loved the Jersey Mike's close to our previous house! Just like our prior Jersey Mike's this particular location was also clean and the employees friendly! Unlike other Sub Shops, we've appreciated that the cold cuts at Jersey Mike's are sliced fresh while preparing a Sub and that the variety of condiments were abundant and fresh as well! My better half had a craving for a Mike's Philly Cheese Steak Sub, which she's never tried, instead of her usual Turkey and Swiss. When we got home, and after opening the wrapper, she mentioned to me that the peppers and onions were pretty much nonexistent and that the portion of steak which was probably no more than 4 oz, is certainly not the best or filling option on the menu for almost $10 and that it didn't look remotely like the Philly Cheese Steak in their commercials! I know, what fast food item does? Here's what another Reviewer said about Jersey Mike's Philly Cheese Steak and I tend to agree! All-in-all, Jersey Mike's Famous Steak Philly turned out to be less than the sum of its parts for me, while the ingredients were well-prepared and high quality, it didn't come together quite right for me. Their Italian and Roast Beef cold subs work a lot better in my opinion. We'll be making Philly Cheese Steaks at home from now on! On a positive note, my Italian Sub, #13 which was prepared by another employee, was still pretty good which tells me that the Cold Subs might be a better choice at a Jersey Mike's although I did notice, that at our previous Jersey Mike's location, the employee's loaded more meat & cheese on our large subs? Maybe some franchises skimp a bit? In closing, Jersey Mike's is still Number 1 when it comes to Sub Shops and we also appreciate CEO Peter Cancro's Charity work but their Philly Cheese Steaks need some attention and love like a little more steak, pepper's & onions and it would become even more Famous! Thanks for reading! read more

I really like Jersey Mikes. So happy one opened near me. I've been several times and the sandwiches are very good. The restaurant is very clean and the employees are great. If I had one complaint it would be completely anecdotal but at other jersey mike stores in the past it seems like their were more ingredients on the sandwich. The next time I go I'm going to ask for double meat because the amount that comes on the sandwich isn't quite what I would like. But it still a great sandwich read more

I would suggest that people find a mom and pop Italian deli if they are going to eat grinder, These chains are all the same

After our "local" (Plaistow NH) location abruptly closed we tried this location and it was as good as we had hoped. An efficient team of six prepared our subs along with fulfilling a request by phone? or online, of several boxed meals. Everyone was polite and didn't skip a beat as they all worked together. Of course our subs were delicious ! This is our new go to local Mikes' ! read more

Well... normally order from here without an issue. Today I ordered on the app for my lunch break and got the famous Philly which I always get... half way eating it wondering why it doesn't taste good.. see attached photo. Feel sick to my stomach. read more

First time a Jersey Mikes has gotten my sub wrong twice in a visit. Ordered chicken and got steak. When I brought it back in, they were quick to replace it but the new one had a pile of mushrooms when "No Mushrooms" was selected. ‍ read more

The best subs served by the best staff. 5 star service every time I come in here, never rude or disrespectful, and always happy to serve customers. Don't bother with subway at Walmart, it'll be the opposite experience. read more

Employees do not wear hair nets or gloves gross! Small Sub is 4 inches long? Not worth the price! Employees seemed confused went in twice ordered exact same order and was charged two different prices? Why? Sat outback to eat near the water with my pup. The back door was a mess! Boxes old food all over the ground! Gross! read more

It saddens me to leave this review with only going into Jersey Mikes once but I can't help but not to. I walked into the sub shop yesterday for my first time around 6:30pm and as I was scanning the menu, I couldn't help but overhear an older male employee making very personal, and inappropriate comments to what it looked like an underage female employee. As these comments were being made it in front of other customers and employees, it was very visible that everyone was uncomfortable with what was going on and it seemed as though it wouldn't stop. I hope this review makes it to someone who can take further action of this because it very unfair and inappropriate. I will not be going back there nor recommending this store. read more

My first Jersey Mikes experience was great and I've come back for more! I've only had the chipotle chicken sub but it's so good I don't want to have anything else! Employees are very friendly and the store was busy but I didn't think the wait was noticeable. read more

Horrible service. The employees need to be retrained on their customer service skills. Focus on the customer and their order not worrying about talking with each other. if they focused on the order it would prevent them From causing mistakes and perhaps not blame the customer. Will not be back. read more

service is lousy, they don't have trained people to serve customers, they see you come in and no one asks how they can help you, poor service!! read more

A 4 why a 4 because I now don't have to drive to Lena's in Danvers. My wife grew up on them and considers them her favorite. Softer bread, thin sliced ham. It is a 5 in her book. My tastes run more to the crusty bread, more flavorful cold cuts like Borelli's down the road. Therefore in my opinion a 3. Is this not a bad sub, very fresh ingredients, friendly, competent staff. It is all in your personal tastes. Will visit again. read more
