They're so fast at preparing the subs even during the lunch rush and do it all with a smile on their face. Also, there seems to be very little turnover since I have seen familiar faces for the past 3 years... Most notably, Kameeni always greets me by name and is very attentive to my order. One of my favorite locations. As a family, we choose JM for all our travel needs, picnics, beach days, and just days when you feel like you want to nosh on a sub. Everyone in the family has their favorite numbers. Mine are the California club, the supreme, and Philly cheese steak on days where I crave meat and a hot sub. Mostly, mine are cold. I use the app to order ahead of time, and pick up. This is important when my parents want to grab something quick and dont know what to order. So, I order via app, pay for it and have them pick up to enjoy wherever they want. You get rewards on your Jersey Mikes account if you sign up and after soo many rewards/points you can redeem for certain sizes. I have visited locations in DP, LN, Laguna Woods, Lake Forest, and even in MauI,Hi. Of all the locations, Laguna Niguel, off Aliso is my favorite. In what reality is a food chain company like Jersey Mike's charging $2.55 for a small bag of Doritos? $15 for a sandwich and Doritos. And then you're asking us to tip your workers. As someone who has waited for 20 years, I have to wait on someone sometimes for over an hour just to get a 15% tip , I've had it with these corporations. Pay your damn workers wage and stop putting it on your customers to tip. This is not a restaurant we're tipping should be required at all. Shame on you, Jersey Mike's just lost a customer. read more

I walked into a clean store and was greeted by a nice employee who was starting his preclosing. I started ordering my food and the girl handling my sandwich was constantly trying to itch her hat and hair. It disgusted me, but I let it go. She put the cheese and peppers on it, then a male employee near her was wiping the counter with a dirty sanitizer rag with gloves on. Suddenly, he took over my sandwich and touched my bread with his sanitizer gloves on and asked what I would like. Last time I checked you should have a food handlers card and know that you should be washing your hands and putting new gloves on to help a customer after sanitizing a table. I asked him to change his gloves because he used a sanitizer rag, hoping that he'd also wash his hands without being told and he seemed annoyed. He touched his nose as soon as he took the gloves off and put new ones on. Again, if you're touching your face you should wash your hands, then put new gloves on. I was disgusted as he finished my sandwich. Then the same girl in the beginning took over my sandwich and cut it sloppily as the bread slid off. Also as this is all happening they are in speed mode as if there's a line out the door and their life depends on getting my sandwich done sloppily so they can just get to their cleaning. I'm so unimpressed and disgusted with their food handling skills. I will not be returning. I would also like you to know that I threw that sandwich away in the trash, uneaten. Great subs and great service. This is one of the better sandwich chains. Sandwiches are made quickly and the staff is nice. My usual order is their #13 Original Italian sandwich (provolone, salami, pepperoni, ham, prosciuttini, and cappacuolo) with a bread that has rosemary, done Mike's Way (tomatoes, lettuce, oils, and seasonings). In my attempt to reduce my dairy intake, I'll typically order it without the provolone cheese. Admittedly, It tastes better with cheese. I've tried their tuna sandwich, which is also good. I made the mistake of going to a different sandwich chain last year and found what I ordered to really lack taste and flavor. Sure, it was cheaper, but I'll not go that way again. BEWARE of cross contamination! Wearing gloves does not mean your food is clean if the person uses the same gloves handling the cash register your food! Person did not change gloves as he went from making the sandwich, he touched our receipt and the cash register then went back to finish making our sandwich! UPDATE: I was contacted by Jersey Mike's manager's, they apologized and sent a refund for the sandwich we ordered along with 2 coupons for sandwiches. We will try it again and will be more vigilant to make sure the staff changes their gloves in between handling dirty items (money, credit card, etc) before they prepare the food. read more

I came here to grab a quick lunch. It's been a long while since I've been to a jersey mikes, and it's safe to say that I wasn't disappointed. I ordered the California Club, which is a turkey sandwich with avocado and bacon added. The person making my sandwich, Sarah, was very impressing with the speed of slicing my sandwich and putting the toppings on it. My husband is a huge fan of their Big Kahuna cheesesteak and eats it often, I figured give their chicken version a chance since I am not a fan of beef. Very poor quality dark meat and very skimpy on the other toppings. Not much to chose from if you do not like meat, their tuna is loaded with mayo and even though it is made fresh, they still somehow cannot make it without mayo, shame.
