Placed an online order the night before. When my husband arrived to pick up our order, they didn't have it. The cashier became argumentative with him and he asked to speak with the manager, then showed them the confirmation email. The cashier's attitude was very rude when he showed her. Our order was hastily and poorly made. Did not get my $45 worth. I usually order from another store, but because my husband was going past this one, it was just easier. The place was disgusting There was trash all over the floor, food all over the floor and all over the counter where you prep peoples food... the person making the subs looked like he never washed his clothes this place was disgustingly gross. I've been to this location twice and it's the same rude unfriendly young lady who never smiles or greets customers and acts as if she doesn't want to be there. The first time I came, she and the other young lady working with her would sulk and huff under their breath whenever a customer would walk in. I came in this evening and she was very rude to my father and to me. We both noticed her unprofessional behavior. She wears glasses and has a large tattoo on her right arm. Earlier today our son ordered three Subs To Go. The sandwiches were like always very good. When my son used my bank card to pay for them and the first time he inserted the card it stated in didn't make the transaction. The second attempt completed the purchase. I happened to look into my bank account for a completely different reason and noticed two recent identical charges on my bank card. My son called your store on New Years Eve just after they had closed and Austin took the call. Austin took actions right then to make the correction then called me on my cell phone to explain to me he had just pulled the two transactions and had refunded the second transaction. Five Stars for Austin who was very polite and one to take quick actions which I explained to Austin this kind of customer service is rare these days. Austin said, I understand! I ordered the catering box. I was told it came with chips and a cookie. When my son picked it up and got it home, none of these items accompanied it. I paid premium pricing and tipped for nothing! Approximately $100.00 and I could have ordered ala cart and saved myself nearly $20! My sandwiches hardly had meat and bacon on them. When I called to talk to a manager she told me the pricing was extra because of "the extra wrapping and the display box" and "I don't make the pricing". Wish I had got a name because she hung up on me. This was at approximately 2-3 pm on Christmas Eve. I mean what company charges extra for a box advertising their name and logo? My sub in the tub was good but most importantly the attitude of the team was so great especially during the current frenzy everyone is in over the virus. I've mentioned in another of my reviews previous to this one that many times with these sub places, the thing that separates them is the quality of their bread...and Jersey Mikes has probably the best tasting bread of any of the chain sub places. Every time we call in an order to this location it's NEVER ready at the time they tell us to pick it up. Today we place an order and were told it would be ready in 15 mins. When we arrive to pick it up we have to wait 30 mins because they don't have our food prepared. Why take call-in orders, if you can't accommodate the customers who call-in. I also wouldn't recommend customizing your sandwich. The past 2 times I have the order was wrong. If you want a good Jersey Mike's try the one on N. Tryon near UNCC. If you're in Harrisburg just get wings at East Coast Wings So I want to credit the staff at Jersey Mike's for making an effort to make the situation right. This location used to be my favorite to goto. Now it is by far the worst. It will take you over 40+ mins to get your order, unless you ordered online cause those are done before anyone in store. The location is a mess, it seems only one employee knows what they are doing and the rest are just going thru the motions slowly. There is usually about 6 people waiting for their food to be made, yet the online orders are piled up (but not really labeled). I have went in there 2 times in the past week and they have messed up just ordering off the menu without and customizations. If you order a grilled sub and a cold one you need to keep track of it since they no longer label which one is which, and the cashier seems easily confused. This location has had a massive turnaround from when it launched. I'm completely baffled by recent reviews that claim they are slow or rude. They have gone from 2 star to 5 in my book. The staff is fast, polite and usually very, very busy. Most of the time I go they are slammed with online orders. There are a few key employees at this location that really make everything go smoothly and they are responsible for the turnaround. Fast food in general these days is terrible yet this place has people who are hard working, polite and they do good work. The food is great - this is to say it is exactly what it is supposed to be - a well made sandwich with fresh ingredients. Jersey Mikes is one of my favorite sub shops. This is my go to location because its near my house. Every time that I go they are super friendly and efficient . I always order the big kahuna chicken on rosemary herb bread. For a minute there they stopped having the rosemary Herb bread in the evenings or something. I was not happy about this at all as this is the only way that I like my sandwich. However, for the last 3 times I went I had no problem getting the bread of my choice. I love the fact that everything is cut fresh right in front of you, and cooked in front of you as well. The only problem that I run into is parking on Friday or Saturday due to the overflow from East Coast wings. Other than that this is my spot and I will continue to give them my business. read more

Ordered from their app. Asked for black olives and didn't get it. I was looking froward to this sub with black olives. It's the small & simple things that matter. Ordered online, simple enough. My sandwich was completely screwed up EVERYTHING! (just as other reviewers stated), no bacon, no mayo, no meat to speak of (as others warned would happen). I've never been to a Jersey Mike's before. This was a whim stop because it is close by and we needed something quick around lunch time on Saturday. When we walked in my entire family gave me the stink eye because there had to be 20 people in line ahead of us. But service was fast and smooth and we were out in about 20 minutes. BONUS! They have gluten free bread! They are incredibly careful while making gluten free items so there is no cross-contamination. My husband had the Italian and my daughter and I had turkey everyone loved their meals. We will return. read more

I don't know if you're like me, but I can get sick of Subway. I love the concept but am constantly looking for a different menu of sandwiches. I have a coworker who frequents here often and it always smelled delicious. When I saw this location next to my friendly neighborhood Harris Teeter, I decided to give it a try. Wow! I had the veggie wrap, grilled and it was amazing. They have very large portions and a friendly staff. The area is clean and I really enjoyed my meal. Very friendly Jersey Mikes! The staff is quick and efficient. I love how everything is cut fresh, right in front of you, and made to order. A step above the other sub chains, if you know what I mean. I tried a new sandwich, and all the meats tasted wonderful. The worker added the exact toppings I asked her to. Went in at 11:35 today. Hadn't been at a JM's in over ten years. I would give them five stars for quality and price. Giving them one star for accuracy and having no unsweet tea right after opening and having a lackadaisical attitude about it. When I asked if they had any more unsweet tea made - she told me no and turned away. I wouldn't have got a combo if I would have known there was no tea. I ordered a super sub, and got a ham sub. I ordered a #56- Big Kahuna and cheese, the gentleman microwaved my bread and then once the steak and cheese was done he put it on the bread, and then he let it sit for three minutes while he was waiting for someone else's order to be done. A young lady finally came out of the back and I asked her how long he was going to let my sandwich sit there before he dressed it. By the time I got home the bread was getting hard and the steak and cheese was cold so I'm not sure if I will go back to this location or if I will never order the #56 Big Kahuna. read more

I had come late, 10 minutes before closing time. Considering Sheray and Jackson staff members of JMS had more than likely worked full shifts that day, both were welcoming, professional and courteous. Typically I would have expected to be told "sorry we are closing". Exact opposite! My order was taken and prepared with a smile. JMS you are very lucky to have employees such as Sheray and Jackson.
