Right sandwich! Preparer was going to put the bread on mike way cutting board. Had to stop him. "New guy no name tag " needs to keep his hands away from his nose. read more

My friend and I had lunch here yesterday. They got both of our orders wrong. And they charged me for two subs instead of one. The employee seemed sad like they were in jail and couldn't wait to escape. The tables were sticky. Also, there was hardly any meat on my sandwich. I got a Philly cheesesteak. I bit into it five times before I got any meat not going back. read more

Jersey Mikes Subs are great, customer service, not so much. Given the price we pay for the subs we can do without the attitude and you can CUT MY FRIGGIN SUB! I'm tired of pull apart subs. You cut the top, but never got the hand strength to cut the sub all the way through. And this time, lady had the nerve to say, "Yes ma'am, I got it" to my wife, flippantly, like my concerns are small. FRIGGIN cut the sub on something else before they go on the paper if you worried about cutting the paper. CUT MY FRIGGIN SUB! Pulling it a part at the bottom always makes a mess and drops toppings. This was a full, i was gonna let it go, after pulling apart the damn thing twice, but the WHOLE SUB is like this and this happens ALL THE TIME! read more

Their online system ended up being down. The process of ordering inside to watching them make the sub was surprisingly quick. All of the ingredients were sliced fresh and the Italian sub was very filing. Maybe they just got through a rush but inside the store wasn't very organized or clean. Gloves were worn. About $40 for 2 Regular Italian Subs, 2 chips, and one drink. Kind of pricey in a sense but you pay for the quality and again, we were stuffed. read more

Servers seemed disgruntled. No welcome in and mismanaged order by them. Too bad theyre upset. Could be better. Bad customer service.

Sandwiches are made fresh and exactly how you like them. My wife and I recently paid $50 for two sandwiches!! Realizing that food prices have risen, I probably could have had a steak dinner in a sit down restaurant for that price. They are sandwiches!! Let's get a grip. read more

I've seen other ratings, but this is actually my older son's and my spot! We go here when we can (Bc it's way to pricey to deliver so when I can pick it up myself we order). Not to suitable for my little kids Bc subs aren't their thing, but my big boy love it. I found if you leave detail directions it's Perfect. Example-I tell them (via THEIR PERSONAL App) in the special instruction box... to not add certain items, or if those items I want on the side, and Of course to add "light oil& vinegar to stop my sandwich from Being too soggy. I do the same for another big chain sub place, along with ONLY TO do light steam Since I he steaming makes the bread a horrible texture. I love the bagging and package, and Ofcourse the Jesery points! read more

Great service great food great everything , I got the club on a sub and a Italian sub , the staff is great and the place is clean

The subs are fresh and tasty. Ordered online and drove up and good was promptly ran out to the car. . The sub was good. I personally like more lettuce and other veggies. Watch the mustard. It's a bit too much. The cheese covered bread is really tasty. The appearance seems clean. Parking lot can be busy. Will order again, except, in person. read more

The best subs around. I always get the #7 Turkey, no cheese, Mike's Way. Management always very kind and helpful. I wish there were more Jersey Mike's on the Virginia Peninsula besides this one and the one other on Mercury Nlvd. read more

My husband picked up food from this location. They're subs are good, but boy are they pricey. They don't even give you your moneys worth on the sandwiches. Most of the meat is in the middle if the sandwich and a good 3-5" of the ends of the subs are just bread and condiments. We took our food home and when we got home, we realized one of our subs were incorrect. It should have been a chicken Philly and it was a normal Philly. Not very fun when the person who ordered doesn't eat red meat. read more

Fresh ingredients, great customer service and fast service. I really was impressed with them.

Love jersey mike's. However the food prep counter is very messy with food all over the place. My main problem is with the white girl with long strands of hair hanging over the food. One day someone is going to find hair in their sandwich. I also observed workers scratching their head, adjusting their hats and touching their clothes with gloved hands and then handle food. No one wears hair nets. Thought of contacting the Health Department to report because some workers seem to take these issues lightly. read more

I had the opportunity to order a sub at the Hampton Va store on Coliseum dr around 4:00 pm on Fathers day june 18th. The staff was incredibly busy as there were only 4 people working. The afternoon was extremely busy with online orders, people calling in and large line at the counter. There were probably 25 tickets open and three main out front staff worked together, no frustration or irritation was displayed, as they quickly and quietly handled all customer's needs and complaints. This staff is exemplary and I will continue to order subs . Bob Karsay satisfied customer read more

I had a taste for a good Italian sub - you know how it is when something like this pops into your head. Well I thought I'd try Jersey Mike's fare. What a mistake. I ordered the 10" Italian sub. What I got was a sub sandwich - piled high with the cheapest, tasteless ham and white meat (couldn't tell what the white meat was from taste!) found in our civilized world. Oh yes, on top of the mess they call meat - was 2 thin thin thin slices of salami. I could see this - but like the other meat, it was flavorless. Don't disappoint yourself by patronizing this establishment- it is serving crap on a sub roll. But yeah - I understand- some people don't care what they stuff in their face. Then their are the others - who have never tasted a real top shelf Italian sub. read more

Been to this location before but this time I had amazing service! Not sure what the persons name was but I think the tag said manager. They were quick polite, and helpful. Due to the face mask I'm not sure who the person was but thank u! I had a long day and needed that smile. Establishment was nice and clean too. No pics Bri was starving but I had to leave a note. In times like these great customer service is always appreciated read more

I've been dying to try this place and ever since it came to Hampton, my husband and I have eaten here at least 10 times. We've eaten here multiple times a week. #8 and the Chicken Philly everytime. I effin love this place. read more

At long last! I don't have to drive 30 minutes in 3 different directions to have my favorite chain submarine sandwich. I had my usual, the Italian on rosemary parm bread, no regular ham, extra salami, Mike's Way, add pickles and cherry pepper relish. It was prepared quickly and correctly. Also, they have a couple of unique sodas on tap, including an agave vanilla, which is great if you like cream soda. The restroom was clean and there wasn't any trash left on the floor or tables. This is a place where the staff cares about service and I hope they'll continue to maintain those standards. read more

I ordered my food online for pick up. I got there 30 minutes after the time it stated to pick up my food and it had not even been started. The staff had no idea where my order was. Finally an employee looked on the register and noticed it had not even been printed out to start. If I had not already paid for it I would have just left and not come back. There wasn't any since of urgency to take care of the order. Every employee took their time and I waited an additional 30 minutes to get 2 sandwiches. Thank goodness that the food is good. read more

Food is mid, I found hair in my sub and did not get bacon on it I paid extra money for, plus the sub wasn't cut in half, and it fell apart because it was DRENCHED in mustard. Service is unhygienic, they don't follow health safety protocols and make wearing gloves pointless. Ambiance varies but is ok. Really wish the staff would get on it, this is the only place I can get a gluten free sub and the quality/safety of food is questionable and makes me uncomfortable to go and eat. Some days they are good and it's worth the money, but others, it's a complete waste of money/time. read more

Jersey Mike's has been my favorite fast-casual sub shop since I first tried them years ago. I was happy to finally have one standup in the Hampton/Newport News area. My favorite is the #13 -- The Original Jersey-style Italian sub. It has provolone, ham, prosciuttini, cappacuolo, salami, and pepperoni.  Order this one Mike's Way to get the awesome flavor combination of the fresh veggies and the Red wine vinegar and an olive oil blend. This is Jersey Mike's signature flavor profile and what sets the franchise apart from the competitors. The Hampton location has a very friendly staff and was nice and clean. I will be back and recommend you visit too!!! read more

On October 25th there was a kid in there that only was like a minute off of when we where supposed to be gone his name was Zachary and he was a nice person. Also the food was amazing, I've never been to jersey mikes to. He went above and beyond for us. I suggest you get food from here. read more

I love Jersey Mike's, but the Hampton, VA Coliseum location is awful!!!! The Management is absent and the customer service is a joke. Don't bother ordering from the app, they won't make it until you arrive. read more

I love JM, but good lord! It should not take over an hour and a half to get food after I went ahead and ordered online for in store pickup.

Normally this Jersey Mikes location is on point but my last two visits have been disappointing. Both online orders have been incorrect, missing ingredients, missing chips too much oregano not enough oil and vinegar, made sloppy, wrong size of sandwiches. I order online so I don't understand the misunderstandings when they can reference the online orders. read more

This Jersey Mike's in Hampton is horrible. These idiots can't even make you the right sandwich. This is the second time we received someone else's sandwich.!!!!!!! And management sucks. They need to fire everybody in there and hire some competent people. read more

I hate to give them 3 stars...my family and I enjoy their sandwiches very much. We often order from here and they have been expedient and sandwiches taste great. Today, however was not their best. We were there around 5:10, the guys working in the front were jobbing it. However the guy cooking the hot sandwiches was slower than molasses. Waited nearly 20 minutes for 1 sandwich and the blond chick at the cashier was no help and when I asked about our sandwich, she could care less. Get rid of those two and divide their pay between the guys working on the sandwich line. read more

Classic Jersey Mike's. We got two gigantic sandwiches. One was a big kahuna and the other was a cheese philly and both were great. If you want something quick with a good flavor, this is the place you should go. We also added a little spice to tie it all in, which just gave more depth to the hoagie. We had ours made "Mike's Way," which has tomatoes and lettuce and vinegar. Great, fast service! We also called in ahead of time and these sandwiches were ready by the time we got there. read more

They have gluten free rolls in various sizes, my sub looked and tasted perfect! Service was fast and friendly.

I mainly wanted to say that your sandwiches are actually really good. But the way you prepare the food for everyone is ridiculous. There are three guys and blue shirts who just stand there and talk to each other while the two men in the white shirt take the orders make the food wrap it all up and they just hand it to the guys in the blue shirt to put in the bag. It seems a little ridiculous you could literally get rid of two of those guys and blue shirts because they're just morale booster is at this point. They literally haven't done anything in the last 15 minutes except be handed subs and put them in a bag. read more

Meh. On 7/2/20 @dinner time, the lettuce looked impaired, there was a messy counter top littered with food, the tall Afro-having dude was wearing a mask UNDER his lips while talking into the rolls, and a shorter braided-hair guy didn't have on a mask at ALL, so I'm good. I traveled further & ate elsewhere. Brand new franchise, but like much of what Hampton has, it's already in decline. read more

These subs are dry, barely any mayo, even when you ask for oil they still forget it. I have came back twice to complain there will not be a third. The lettuce is mixed in with celery, the steak isnt real real steak. read more

This was the best sub store so far in Hampton. My wife had a #3 and I had#13 and they were terrific! They were generous with the fresh cut meat and and cheese and the "Mike's way" condiments were delicious! The service was fast and courteous and this is definitely our new place for subs. read more

Polite people and the store was clean. I however didn't like my sub. I get the same one each time but this one the bread was dry.

I found myself at JMS on March 19th 2022 to order a sandwich based on the fact that my daughter told me how great their Philly Cheesesteaks Sandwich was my daughter raves about their sandwiches. My daughter is usually on point when it comes to good food so I went In to order. My daughter told me what to order so I ordered exactly the same as she did. Unfortunately, upon eating the sandwich I really had to disagree. Way too much mayo, mustard and part of the meat I had to throw away because I could not chew. I decided to just let the manager know my experience and I was not expecting anything from telling him, but the manager Richard was very accommodating and apologetic. He offered to remake the Philly Cheesesteaks. Mr. Richard remade it to perfection. I blinked my eye and the sandwich was ready Literally. That's what I call excellent customer service. I am happy and will continue to go to Jersey Mike's because of Mr. Richards. You deserve 10 stars cause you made my day!!!! read more
