When you order in advance, your order is all packaged up and ready on a shelf on the side counter right inside the door which makes it easy to grab. The only downside is that it could be easy to accidently grab someone else's order. Hopefully if that ever happens they are able to easily remedy it. It is easy to order what you want and the staff is friendly and amenable to you asking questions or asking for modifications. I did notice they tried to upsell a little bit (asking about wanting to make it a combo and asking about adding extras like bacon or extra meat). Not a big deal, but they also don't clearly state that if you do do that, there will be an upcharge. Hopefully no one is surprised at the end when cashing out. I love that you can get any of the subs as a bowl. I'm not anti bread or choose to eat low carb, but sometimes it is more appealing for me to eat it in a bowl like a salad so I like that it is easy to do that here. I lost my stomach to cancer, so I can't eat much in a single sitting, and hot sandwiches never taste the same when reheated. My sub was good, and my granddaughter (who is an extremely picky eater) said she liked hers. Trust me, she would have let me know if she didn't. The service was excellent again as well. The person who brought our order to the car apologized for the wait, but it wasn't their fault. The pickup time was 3:15 and we just got there early. The order was delivered right on time. The only thing I'll add because I know Jersey Mike's reads the reviews is the napkins. This isn't a knock on Jersey Mike's. It's just to let them know they need to be a little more cost conscious. For a regular and a mini sub, we got a total of (yes, I actually counted them) 22 napkins! I won't waste them, but Jersey Mike's might want to know they're losing money where they shouldn't be. I walked in happy and smiling, but the initial interaction with the employee taking my order felt a little unfriendly and unwelcoming. I clearly asked for half of a sub but was given a full sub instead. That honestly wasn't a huge issue for me, but combined with the interaction, it did affect my overall experience. I completely understand that working in customer service can be difficult and that everyone has an off day. At the same time, I think a friendly and welcoming attitude can make such a difference, especially for someone who is visiting the area and trying a restaurant for the first time. First impressions really do matter, and unfortunately, I left feeling disappointed after being so excited to come in. I do want to mention that the young lady who checked me out was wonderful. She was very polite, friendly, and provided great customer service. As far as the food goes, the sub, pasta salad, and potato salad were absolutely immaculate! Everything tasted great, and I really enjoyed the food. I just wish the customer service at the beginning of my visit had matched the quality of the food. A little more warmth and attentiveness would have made this a completely different experience.

It sits between houses in a neighborhood in North Apollo. I walked in to about 6 customers waiting for hoagies and two workers making the sandwiches. I was asked if I called ahead, which I had not. I waited for about 10 minutes to get through the orders and to my turn. There are two sizes, small and large. Small hoagies were in the $4 range. Large hoagies were in the $5 range. I ended up going with a large regular. It was like an Italian Hoagie. It ran me $5.45. The hoagie was fine, but was more like something you would buy from a kid as a fundraiser. Again, not bad at all, but nothing great either.
