I would even get it if it went up to 10 I'm a little bit of a sticky situation because I was very hungry and I'm going to my friends birthday party after this and while I was in line, he texted me and he said bring hungry friends And he was saying that about his birthday party and I'm assuming he wanted me to be hungry too, but I was hungry. Twice in a row, I've had the worst subs. My hot sub was cold last time and this time my sub looks like it fell off a truck

White lady working here is incredibly rude. I did a walk in order and told her I wanted an Italian sub and a turkey one. She then proceeded to talk over me and keep asking me what kind of meat. I told her probably 4-5 times before I switched to yelling. She also only made one of the subs I wanted when I asked for two. I swear she must have been on drugs. The other employees were respectful and helpful but I will not be coming back while that first lady works here - she gave me a headache! read more

I'll forever go to this location! Tonight I got to talk with a Ava, Nautica, and Sky! Great conversation! So nice and really cared about making my food just right! The store was clean and they were even making sure all items were stocked! I made a joke about wanting bacon (I saw that their pan was empty) and they even offered to make me some. I was sadly underwhelmed by the Islands newest JM's. The Tuna Sub was good with a fresh flavor, but, the Super Sub was Subpar in our opinion. It lacked distinct flavors, the seasoning was slight, and the bread was noticeably not fresh. . This is probably one of the smoothest run JM's I have been to. The staff all worked well together, there were no issues on large orders and everything went quickly. The store was very clean, which was great considering it was raining all day and people were coming in with wet and muddy feet. I really enjoy the Philly subs particularly on the Parmesan bread. As an aside, this time I was ordering 11 subs for the United Methodist Men at Bethel United Methodist Church where I have the honor of being the president of the UMM. I tried ordering these subs two days ahead of time but the online and the phone app would not allow me to do so, other than the day before or on the day of, instead telling me to go ahead and call them. I called them and they said no they would could not take the order that early but they would make a note of the 11 Subs that I was going to order so that they knew that the order would be coming. I arrived about 10 minutes early and they asked me if I had called the order in or if I've done it online, as they had no order in my name. A quizzical presentation but I told the lady I had done it online and they told me that they didn't have any such order. Within 30 seconds they had punched the button on the cash register and out spit the order with my name on it. Fifteen minutes later, which was 10 minutes later than I had hoped, the order was done. I would like to give them five stars for the quality of their food but this lack of service definitely cost them at least one star! read more

I popped into Jersey Mikes tonight to grab a quick sandwich to-go 15 minutes until 9. The only woman working tonight was immediately rude, visibly irritated and rolled her eyes while huffing loudly when I confirmed my gf request was due to an allergy (Celiac disease). She began slamming things around and said "I just want to go home at a decent hour for ONCE!" I felt so awkward and uncomfortable the whole time. I also noticed they didn't abide by GF allergy protocol per usual. I had heard good things about Jersey Mike's and the place was PACKED at lunch time on a Sunday so I figured it was likely pretty good. My fiance's mom and I both got grilled veggie wraps and they were both awful. They we're so soggy! The ranch was a super watery drippy sauce and everything inside the wrap was soggy. Firstly, I love Jersey Mike's. I have been to plenty locations all over not just South Carolina, but throughout the east coast. The James Island location is by far the absolute worst. The workers are rude, slow, and clearly have never had a lesson in customer service. This is the kind of location where you ask for "extra pickles" and they put 4 on and mumble under their breath just to spite you for no apparent reason. Today there was no line, I stood in the back looking at the menu while the worker at the meat station stood and tapped his hand, shaking his head, and rolling his eyes at the fact I needed more than 5 seconds to spit out an order. If there had been a busy lunch rush crowd, I might have understood the urgency. But in reality, on a weekday around 12pm the place was stagnant- probably because people are ditching what should be a "go to" choice and getting their sandwiches elsewhere (most likely the Publix sandwich station next door). Overall, just be prepared when you order a sandwich you will have to ask multiple times to get it made the way you would like and with an unwanted side of bad attitude! read more

It's small, and you feel like the staff is staring at you while you eat. The staff is very friendly, but their joke-y attitudes make the overall experience suffer. Yes, Jersey Mike's is a chain but it doesnt feel that way when you walk inside. The staff is always friendly and usually will chat with you if things are slow. This Jersey Mike's is just as good as any of their other locations that I have been to in various different states over the years. This place was also different in that it truly stood out in giving me the extra vegetable toppings and mayonnaise that I asked for. I placed my order online also, and added my requests in the comments of my order and for the comments on the item itself. Some places will give you a little extra, but if you ever visit this Jersey Mike's location, when you ask for extra, they take you seriously and truly mean business! My #7 Turkey and Provolone on White (giant with extra veggies and mayo, cut into thirds) was packed with vegetables to the point that with every single bite, they were falling off of the sandwich and onto the sub paper! More is always better, because you can always take it off if they put more than your preference. But it never works vice-versa! The two employees in the store were wearing their masks and gloves when I arrived to pick it up, and they had my sub ready at the contact-free food takeout pickup station by the door with my name labeled on the outside of the bag. This place is a nice little sub shop. You are always greeted when you walk in and they seem to genuinely say it. All the meat and cheese is craved as you order it which slows the line down but I believe it to be worth the wait. The rolls are good too way better tasting then subway. They have a basic menu but you don't need to get fancy with subs. This place is a little pricier then subway but again worth it if you want a better experience and food. I have been a customer of your location for over 7 years but I have hit my limit. On the last 4-5 occasions I have ordered hot subs there has been one employee (Queen) who works the grill. She has made my sandwiches incorrectly to the point where I now watch and has to correct her every time. The manager today wrote on the ticket "no lettuce and no tomato" - what does she do but put them both on my husbands sandwich - when I stop her she begins picking the lettuce off and re-wrapping it - what?!? The manager had to step in and tell her to remake it. I asked for the sandwich to be cut in 4's which again, I saw the manager write on the ticket, we get home with the new sandwich and it's cut in thirds. And for years I've eaten at Jersey Mike's all across the country and have never been disappointed. Until today. Skip this location. Ordered two Tuna Subs. How can you f**k up a Tuna Sub ordered Mike's Way? It's as if the kid making them just ignored everything I said. I guess I should have watched him make them, but should I have to? Went to pay, and his associate hands me my receipt and walks away leaving two subs, two bags of chips and a soda on the counter. I had to ask for a bag.
