They changed gloves regularly and items were stored away and not in the open except the veggies which were exposed. Parking lot is small and filled so you have to get there when it isn't busy. Tonight was a rough trip to this location. The staff was overwhelmed with on-line orders and the manager was beyond irritated. They ran out of white bread and all hell broke loose. The place was dirty and looked like no one was willing to stop for two mins and do some cleaning up. I would suggest some on-site management training and have someone responsible for keeping track of bread inventory. You make sandwiches, that's your primary business, you should never run out of bread. The guys making the sandwiches were nice and trying to do their best. Considering the mental condition of the manager, I give them a lot of credit for sticking in there and pushing through. Do yourself a favor and order in person. The on-line ordering is chaos. We get there at 8:30 and it's one girl with glasses doing cashier & another girl with light brown box braids with curly ends who was finishing up someone order. The cook was a black skinny tall dude with a black scarf over his hair, the girl finishing up with the order before me and then say what I would like to order I say a number 17 giant Philly she quickly said we NO LONGER TAKE HOT SUBS AFTER 8:30 bitch I got there at 8:30 NEITHER one OF YALL GREETED US FOR ONE & for two I was the last customer and got there at 8:30 y'all could've made my mf food the grill was still hot. This location in Burlington NC on South Church Street consistently gets Delivery items wrong when my wife and I have ordered. The staff is more concerned about what they are doing that night or that upcoming weekend instead of paying attention to quality control of what the customer is ordering. It would be nice if they focused more on the customer, their job, and quality control then talking about last nights date. read more

I don't understand the negative reviews at all. We go to this Jersey Mikes as well as others, and they all have great subs. We shared a #13 last night and it was as good as ever. Dirty, rude, stale bread! Worst Jersey Mikes ever!! I went in at 8:15 and was the only customer, they had 1/4 cup of brown lettuce left and I asked if there was any fresh in the back the "manager " said they were closing soon. The other guy who was slicing the meat for the sandwich did go back and bring out a new bucket of fresh lettuce. Then the original rude guy tossed the old brown lettuce on top of the new while looking at me like "ha". After paying I asked for the managers name and rude guy said "me" and I said what is your name? He said you can figure it out. The bread was stale when we ate it and I'll NEVER go to that Jersey Mikes again!! Neither should you. Everything about this place is big. The giant subs are 14 inches. The drinks are a very good size but the prices are a little steep as well. Although I didn't prefer the taste it's not a bad place for someone that would like their subs. They also prepare your subs fresh which is something different from other chain stores. They have a pretty good amount of subs to choose from to. read more

I should start by saying I visit this store about once a month, and usually, the service is pretty average, but at least they weren't rude. I'm taking the time to write this review, because well, that changed today. Upon arrival, I gave the girl at the counter my regular order, which she did wrong, and I pointed it out to her. Then instead of remaking the sandwich without mayo, she just handed me some ranch and said that I could put it on myself. Then, when calling the manager to complain, he refused to give out any kind of information on where to submit one, and was rude about it. He cut me off, and completely ignored that his staff was rude. My sandwich was wrong, not fixed, and I was not at all treated like a valued customer. Avoid this place, service like this shouldn't be rewarded. You would truthfully be better off at subway, or even McDonald's. read more

This is one of the worst Jersey Mike's I've ever been to. Can't tell you how many times the people that work there can't seem to get it right. I basically order a sandwich and tell them I want it Mike's way except no vinegar. Without exception the staff gets confused. I dont believe I'm being overly picky or challenging. I guess I need to call out each item like I'm talking to a 4yo. On top of that, the people that the management hires are, let's be honest here, ghetto. Staff always seems exasperated to have to make sandwiches. If it's not a bad attitude, then it's a bunch of low class joking amongst the staff like the customers aren't even there. Please Read! I've never posted a bad review about a restaurant but after this incident I couldn't not share this....... it was the last straw! Burlington NC has THE Worst Jersey mikes in the country and worst service in this area! This restaurant is the towns black sheep but if you like jersey mikes you're forced to go here because it's the only one in town! The store is commonly understaffed with incompetent people because the store can not retain employees for more than a month so you're constantly dealing with employees who aren't familiar with how to make the sandwiches let alone how to work the register. Management cant keep quality employees because of ridiculously low pay and poor employee treatment. I can say this because over the years I've had a half a dozen different kids tell me how the owner is a jerk and they're desperately looking for other work. If I heard this from one employee I wouldn't necessarily believe it but when you've heard the same story repeated by different people over the years then there's some truth to the stories! The store rarely gets it right, you have to coach them through it and they always take way to long to complete the order. If you have a valid coupon for that specific store do NOT expect them to accept it! They pick and choose when they accept coupons despite your coupon being a jersey mikes branded coupon with NO expiration date they may decline to accept it. BAD BUSINESS! read more
