I was seriously craving a tuna sub and usually go to Subway for it, but one of my coworkers kept raving about Jersey Mike's so we decided to check out the Bedford, MA location for lunch takeout. I'd never been before, but the setup is kind of like Subway where you choose what you want in your sub, which I liked. I ordered a tuna sub and it was delicious, really fresh and super satisfying. Definitely hit the spot. The service was great, friendly vibes, and a couple of the staff even cracked some jokes while we were ordering, which was a nice touch. You can eat inside, but we grabbed ours to go. Only heads-up: they carry Pepsi products (I'm more of a Coke fan), but not a dealbreaker for me. While I was waiting, I watched them make a version of a steak and cheese sub and now I have to go back and try it. All in all, really glad I gave it a shot, and I'll definitely be back! read more

This Jersey Mike's is located in downtown Bedford, Mass. a few minutes from where I work. I go every so often to get my favorite--the Italian. They always make a fabulous one. They use almost half a dozen fresh cold cuts plus cheese. I recommend asking for the Rosemary Parmesan rolls (though the Wheat is not bad either). You can get whatever toppings you want. The staff is very fast--it's amazing how quickly they can assemble a sub with all the different cold cuts they must use. It's quite labor-intensive it seems. I've visited a number of times and the staff is always nice and professional. There's been some staff turnover but the new folks are just as good as the previous ones. They all work hard and are never grumpy. The store is is big, airy and always perfectly clean. I don't remember ever seeing papers or crumbs left on any of the table when I walked in. The prices are high, but when you consider the excellent quality, the always fresh bread, and the large portions, I think it's a pretty good value. Just take home what you cannot eat there. Parking is a little tight in this strip mall, but keep in mind that you can also park on the south side. read more

By now, you all know how I feel about Jersey Mike's. So, you can imagine how ecstatic I was to discover they had just opened one up about a mile down the street from my place of employment. This one is different from the others I've visited, because they have curbside delivery. Or so they say. See, the thing is...this feature could use a lot of work. For starters, there is no designated parking for this JM's. At all. In fact, the only two parking spaces located directly in front of the store are both ostensibly reserved for the handicapped. Now, this wouldn't be a problem in and of itself. Except curbside service normally works better if you have designated parking for just curbside. Starbucks around the corner has this. So, why can't JM's? At least this way, the servers (or whatever) know which spot to bring the food to. That is, IF they ever bring it out to you. I've used this curbside service all of two times. The first time it took the lady ages to bring my sandwich. The second time (today), I waited probably 10 minutes before eventually just walking in and picking up the food myself. Which leads me to conclude that I should just opt for walk-in pick up from now on, because the curbside service is basically useless. I get that they're a new shop in these parts and are probably still in the process of getting everything in functioning order. But until that day comes, I'd recommend, to everyone, to just run in and pick up your orders yourself. The sandwiches still taste amazing, despite the curbside service needing a lot of work. I was excited to spot this in Bedford and even though not super hungry we decided to stop in and get a sub. The experience was much better than the location we stopped in a few months ago in New Hampshire. Probably due to no line - not waiting in a slow moving line definitely ups the star rating! The woman who waited on us was so nice. She really packed the sub with goodness. We got a regular turkey sub with provolone and just a massive amount of lettuce, pickles and tomatoes. Messy but so so good! Huge amount of filling for the price. Since this is relatively close to me, I can safely say we'll be back. I also loved the knitted sub they have as decoration on the counter. Got hold of a coupon, so gave it a try. Ordered portobello mushroom sub and steak and cheeze sub, both rehular sizes. The mushroom was good. The steak and cheese was very salty, seems to be some sort of flavoring, seasoning in the meat. No need for that. Just fresh shaved beef, a little salt and pepper, cheese, maybe onions and peppers. Keep it simple. No real reason to return, not that impressed. Very similar to Subway. Their steak and cheese better. Maybe like alot of places it depends on what you order. read more

Brutal. Got Steak and cheese sub. Literally worst sub of my life. Barely any meat in it. All bread. Two bites threw it in garbage. Terrible quality and small portion of meat . Bedford mass store. UPDATE. -The reply from Scott at Jersey Mikes about "looking into this " means absolutely nothing and does nothing to rectify my terrible experience. Avoid this location !! The subs are hit-or-miss: always a bit overpriced, and sometimes either under seasoned or watery (probably due to the lettuce prep). It's also slow - rarely see much hustle behind the counter - Definitely order ahead, unless you have a fair amount of time to wait. Honestly it's going downhill. We've had multiple incorrect orders upon online pick up. We began going into the store to avoid any mistakes, but its really hard when only ONE person is making food, and the other 3-4 people are standing by the grill watching the guy struggle. Literally nobody is offering to help him, and we began to just take the lead ourselves while the rest of folks watched. Like what? The last few times have just been straight garbage. We're regulars but won't be any longer. It's hit or miss now, and they're just hiring anyone and everyone (totally fine), but clearly are not offering training. Went for a quick bite in between house work 13. Original Italian sub came with a lot of meat and toppings and was filling. I think I added too many strong tasting flavors on my sub since I couldn't taste the cold cuts as much as I wanted. 17. Philly cheesesteak had good flavor. It wasn't as filled as I expected but I enjoyed it. Cheese was gooey and steak was cooked quickly over the flat top along with the peppers and onions so I think everything was as expected. Ordered from here last night. Got the Original Italian and the BBQ Beef. The quality and taste were definitely up there however the quantity was lacking. $10-$11 for a 6 inch sub which would be a small in any other store. Also, the cold cuts were good but boy were they sliced as thin as possible. They probably got 3 slices of provolone cheese out of what I would consider one at home. The BBQ beef was tasty but I made the mistake of thinking it needed cheese and they defaulted to American cheese. Overpowered the beef at times. Due to an abundance of other places with more value in the area I probably won't be back. read more

Just went in there for a late lunch and had the worst customer service I've ever seen. Employees seem very unorganized and disoriented. The guy at the front desk was extremely rude and made it known, shaking his head and talking under his breath also to mention not wearing his mask so you can see his facial expressions. I am a sandwich lover and Jersey Mike's is always delicious. This location is clean and the people are friendly. They're always busy, so there is sometimes a wait, even if you order ahead.
